Snideness aside, there's some intervention needed.  If they can't handle budget like that, how is buying property (and becoming liable for utilities, taxes and upkeep/maintenance) going to make anything better.  It sounds like a pipedream distraction to sound like someone is responsible without actually being responsible.

Not sure her whole situation or what part of the state she's in but Wisconsin does have some decent social service programs. Probably not go buy a house type stuff, but there is a net in place. Probably why so many jump north from Chicago.

You haven't lived until you have seen all the beauty that is Fredonia.

Surprisingly, being about 30mi. N of Buffalo, the Falls is north of the snowbelt.  We get the winds and the ice, but fortunately, not the depths of snowfall that they get in Buffalo, and south of Buffalo.

Lake effect is real, people!

Yes, yes it IS!

During those winter snow storms, hotels in the Falls are packed and seriously over priced.

You know, something just flashed in me head...

Through the years, I've picked up a lot of guitars from ladies who had no idea what they were, let alone played them.  One recurring theme was that they loaned money and the guitar was their collateral.  Now, most of the time, the guitars weren't valuable (though a $25 Squier Strat, with a few basic upgrades costing $20 or so and you can have a great sounding guitar), every once in a while you'd find a valuable one.

I gots to wonder...  Was that in trade for anything???  An S/S/S Flying V is rarer than hens teeth because it's a mismatch of mass, scale and pickups, a poseur's instrument (unless that's a 25.5" scale, doesn't look it but could be).  Pickup placement based on scale is crucial.

I've known SoCal parents of friends that went to Wisconsin...  Now I know why...  Sell high and go live off the services... Eau Claire / Chippewa Falls maternal roots here.

You are overthinking it.
She bought it because it says BELL on the headstock.

Heather is pumping out now, from pole to freezing pole in the desert.

Years ago I bought a used clear plexiglass Dan Armstrong electric with two pickups you could swap just by unplugging and plugging them in, two different sounds and balances. I loved that guitar, it was very funky, but honestly it got way too heavy to play standing up and moving around with it after about 15-20 minutes, it started to make my shoulder sore. Reluctantly I sold it, along with my old ARP Odyssey synthesizer, which I now wish I hadn't sold <g>.

Dose were da days!

Just think, now, when Colby calls in, I will be able to picture her in my mind...

To be honest, I kind of picture all of Heathers callers to be somewhat similar to Colby, in my mind.

Oh I agree, 100%. It is getting clearer and clearer everyday. These aren’t people who care about the paranormal, they are just lost souls clinging together.  :'(

You know 100% it’s a fixed contest. One of her ass kissers will receive that guitar.

Whoever gets it should take it to the PBS antique road show.  I want to see one of the experts say its worth 5 bucks because heater defaced it.

I was stationed in Plattsburgh for 4 years. You can only get 13 miles farther north in NY.

Wasn't she briefly a roadie for Steppenwolf...you know, in their later days?

Heather was a roadie for The Beatles.  It's however much of her fabricated life you want to believe. FUHW

^^^Truth.

Robert Trujillo was a client of mine back before his days with Muttasslickah (he did a yellow pages ad for TV where he was jogging!) and he was a cool "let's get the kids playing music" guy.  He wanted to open a lessons/rehearsal studio/school of rock thing in the later half of the 1990s.  After FuckTars Ulrotten and the St. Crappy guys got to him.  He didn't have the time of day for his momma.

Sorry, it's been a very exhausting day with client stuff. Can't really get into either show tonight, may try Dave in the morning. Night, all!

Lilith

Heather, if you really mean that, post here at bellgab to let me know that you truly do want me to call in and tell you what I think.  I promise to be diplomatic and open minded.
