If this happened in the USAF, there would be some people court martialled and kicked out of the service, starting with  the wing commander.

So what happens if I pull on the candy caned striped ring and yell "Say goodbye asshole"?

Can't really make out what the number he's pointing at on the right is, but the one he points to on the left looks like a mach number read out.
Clever Tunisians! Though wouldn't the wash help spread the virus. Congratulations to the Armenians! Will this tech be used in faster taxi services or just quicker to steal one's watch....we await!

Forgot to post this a few days ago, but Boeing pulled out of their joint venutre/merger/whatever with Embraer, and it's probably going to go to court.

I could tell you some stories about "IBP Aircraft" (shown on the Tu-144 photo) and its owner, Judith dePaul.  To this day I can't decide if she was a brilliant business woman or a con artist.  She tried to teach me to sing opera while we were working together in Moscow.  Check out the latter part of this article that discusses Judith and IBP.

Glad to see they just picked up on this now some 63 years after the type was introduced.

Air Force Announces it Can Save $7 Million by Adjusting One Plane's Windshield Wipers
QuoteThe Air Force recently proved through a series of tests that its KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft can fly more efficiently just by mounting the cockpit window’s wiper blades vertically instead of horizontally. The potential fuel cost savings: about $7 million per year.

Researchers with the Advanced Power and Technology Office, part of the Air Force Research Laboratory, and the Southwest Research Institute, assessed the KC-135 after similar tests were conducted on a commercial McDonnell Douglas MD-11 cargo airliner. The commercial tests showed the new blade direction reduced its flight drag by 1.2%

I’ve have landed in the Azores as a passenger maybe a half dozen times.  There always seems to be a strong crosswind which is not surprising since the Azores are a group of small islands stuck out in the Atlantic that are subject to the “Azores Current” that flows down from Newfoundland, but, judging by the amount of right rudder the pilot had to use, that was a particularly dicey landing.

You need to be on a Gabcast with these stories. And I note the WND story is written by a C2C and frequent Rense guest Charles R. Smith!

Update on the "pedestrian," as local reports called him, killed on the tarmac of AIBA. Still no word how, why, he was there?

Just saw the Thunderbirds do a fly-by. Pretty low and cool to see. Lots of people came out to see them.  Lining highway, in park, on top of parking garages, or just in their yards. They flew around town and then straight down IH-35 towards SA.

Show off.  Austin gets the T-Birds.  Dixie gets these good old boys.............

Another F-22 gone.  There were never very many to begin with and there won't be anymore............  Pilot is safe and sound and looking at wage garnishments for the next 10,000 years.   ;)

Another F-22 gone.

You do understand--they have antigrav, yo. You must understand this. All the cost overruns and delays and complete fucked-cock-ups make complete sense, once one sees the big picture.

Not sure that I do understand it.   I do hope so - if for nothing else that my hard earned tax dollar didn't completely go down the drain.
What I do understand is that it is good that you are back!

Well, I guess if you were paying taxes in the 50s. There was a huge focus on that kind of thing, it can be seen in the fictional stories from the time, as well as written records of college programs working on that kind of thing. Same with nuclear fusion--it was the holy grail that was used to compel children to study STEM back then, although it was not called that.

And then, waddya know, fast forward to now--do you see any universities with an antigrav propulsion department? No, you do not. Because they figured out enough that they don't need to let people know that they're feverishly improving it. Same deal with the nanotech--it was all over the news in the 2000s. Now, no one breathes a word. You know who had the #3 nanotech program in the world, just a few years ago? Yeah, well, neither do I, because obviously the information about this kind of thing is heavily classified. I mean, heavy.

Remember how they cloned a sheep? Didn't hear much about that ever since then, right? Well, at some point, cloned pets began to be available to the public. Like, you can just duplicate Fluffy for 80K or something. Sounds amazing, right? Why then, no Super Bowl commercials for it?

Answer: because then one or two of the smarter proletariats would then be inspired to think, "hey, it would be cool to have a second wife," and then the idea spreads like wildfire. Billions of people knowing that it is possible to clone a human, and to then demand it, ugh, what a nightmare. First of all, that's a proletariat for you--TWO wives? Just fucking shoot me. Secondly, the usefulness of genetically duplicate people offers far less utility when everyone knows that clones are real.

This is critical thinking, son. Why wouldn't they have antigrav? Is it because it's impossible? Okay, where is the Department of Deciding What Is Impossible at? I wanna intern there, I bet there's some really uptight chicks coming in and out all the time. Challenge accepted.

Look, they're even calling them UAVs now. Unidentified Aerial Vehicle. VEHICLE. I don't know how much clearer this kind of thing can get. Thanks for the warm welcome. Although, you know me--I don't judge.
