Dietrich:  "The US Army has been downsized by 208 divisions and is now smaller than the Marine Corps"

Gunner65

Dietrich rants about Carlson (a communist sympathizer) and reads from this article:  https://psmag.com/news/evans-carlson-was-a-patriotic-communist

So Carlson was a communist and therefore the entire Marine Corps are baby-raping, butt-fucking satanic communists.

Gunner65

That's right Dietrich.  All the Vietnam Marines still serving when your ass was failing out of Boot Camp were serving as Staff NCOs in the FMF or had fucking retired by then!....Not serving as Drill instructors at MCRD San Diego.  That's why you never met any of them!

Yeah - First thing I hear is Jack London blab.

Gunner65

Dietrich says that since Marines were serving in China, that makes them communist, and they were disbanded in 1944 because the public feared they would return to overthrow the US government and install a communist state.

Aquino!!!!!!!!!!!!!           Carlson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drop outs are still terrible.   The Japanese were taking in Jewish refugees?    FDR wanted to invade Canada?

When Carlson was in China in 1937 he was not commanding a Marine unit.  He went back to China for the third time in 1937 as an official student of the Chinese language and as a military observer with Chinese forces. There he was afforded the opportunity to learn the tactics of the Japanese soldier.

He met Edgar Snow in China and read Snow's Red Star Over China. This encounter led him to visit the Chinese communist troop headquarters in northern China, where he met Chinese Communist leaders such as Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai and Deng Xiaoping. Traveling thousands of miles through the interior of China with the communist guerrillas, often on foot and horseback over the most hazardous terrain, he lived under the same primitive conditions. He was impressed by the tactics used by Chinese Communist guerrillas to fight Japanese troops. Carlson often had leftwing political views, prompting General David M. Shoup to say of him, "He may be red, but he's not yellow."[2]

When Carlson left China in 1938, he was commended by the Commander in Chief of the Asiatic Fleet for his services. Carlson was so impressed with the danger of Japanese aggression in the Far East that in 1939, he resigned his commission as a captain in order to be free to write and lecture on that subject. When the danger he foresaw neared reality in 1941, Carlson applied to be recommissioned in the Marine Corps and was accepted with the rank of major.

Marine Raiders were not even formed at that time and Carlson was not involved in the Nanjing massacre !

Gunner65

So:  Japanese GOOD....Nazis GOOD....US Marines BAD! :D

So a few hundred Marines were responsible for the Rape of Nanking?  Dietrich has really lost it.

Gunner65

Marines were guarding other places, mainly Shanghai,  Peking, and Tientsin.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/China_Marines

Rabe had Chinese-take-out sent to him in Germany from China for the rest of his life?  LOL  I don't think I would eat that!

Gunner65

"John Rabe was a real German businessman who lived in Nanking, now called Nanjing; for decades, he managed the operations of the Siemens company there. A member of the Nazi Party, Rabe had never been to Hitler's Germany or seen firsthand what was going on there; even so, he didn't believe the mounting criticisms he heard about Hitler. Germany and Japan were allies, and in the film, when Japanese planes first bomb the city, Rabe and his workers unfurl a giant Nazi flag like a canopy over their heads, in hopes the Japanese pilots will spare them.

The scene was suggested by historical photos that showed the real Rabe using the Nazi flag to construct makeshift shelters for the more than 600 Chinese refugees who camped out at his house and in his garden after the Japanese army took over Nanjing. This paradoxical image -- the swastika as refuge -- fascinates John Rabe director Florian Gallenberger."

No mention that Hitler supplied the giant flag!  In fact, Rabe had not even met Hitler!  https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=127482829

NO legitimate WW2 historian has agreed with what Dietrich is claiming here...NONE of it is true.  Dietrich got it from reading Soldier of Fortune Magazine in January 1989!

Gunner65

Dietrich hates white people.....especially old white guys  :)
