A second FOIA request to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)/National Personnel Records Center (NPRC) is pending. This request will show a primary MOS, duty assignments, education, awards, rank etc.

Details of military service are considered a public record and releasable details are obtainable under the Freedom of Information Act of 1974. Details are limited but include basic information including types of discharge. It does not include medical records, operational deployment details, records of legal actions or courts-martial proceedings etc.

In addition to active duty service, the DOD/DMDC report will also show dates of any civilian DOD employment history.

I would not be surprised if Dietrich is refused admittance even if Moon tries to vouch for him. Dietrich has made many enemies over the years and he is taking a gamble that he can make it back from there with his skin intact. They will be ready for him with sharpened blades.

Dietrich said the conference was canceled. And clearly indicated he had little interest in attending anyway. I don't believe it would have been in his best interest, even with Moon vouching for him. This is not his first cancellation of an event in the past few years. (Due to lack of interest and ticket sales?)

Dietrich, as you say, would face a great deal of scrutiny and the outcome would be in addition to the logistical efforts of getting him there and back and 3 days of hotel stay. Keep in mind Dietrich does not have a CA drivers license or a passport. He cannot pass TSA to fly. And would have to be driven from San Fran to Mt. Shasta.

I am certain that Moon would be tasked with arranging it. It would definitely have been a logistical task and financial loss for Moon and a public embarrassment for both of them.

Since Dietrich is a pathological liar and the freak in Mt. Shasta likely is too, we don't have the truth - yet. And without a book series to promote for sale, Moon and Dietrich would have little incentive to attend.

So the people that "donated" the money (400.00) for Dietrich to register are fucked!

As a fiction writer, Moon knows he is taking a risk. Dietrich, meanwhile, is not being truthful. I believe that Moon will contract Dietrich for one book.
