I'm trying to think if I was a group the Democrats were pandering to, how I would feel about it. Given how they're going after blacks and hispanics, I imagine it would be like a fat Irish guy coming on stage pounding down beers and slapping out rather unattractive women. Followed by eating hagas and throwing it into the crowd. Then after about ten minutes of river dance. Followed by Hillary Clinton walking out in one of those fighting irish hats with twelve leprechauns surrounding her. She then gives a fiery 20 minute speech about how the English, Catholics, Mothers Against Drunk Driving and the Police are committing a mass genocide against my people and only the Democrats can protect me.

First, realize that they only pander to groups with empty platitudes. The real pandering is to the group's (usually self-appointed) leaders who get the bags of cash and adminisistrators' jobs.

Remember when Baltimore burned during the riots after the Freddie Grey death? It was she who would not allow the police to do their job as she demanded a stand-down. She got some flak for that but nothing ever really happened.

She comes from a line of local Baltimore politicians who were just as bad. It's a family thing with some of the Baltimore political set. Part of the reason that Owe'Malley got where he did. Sadly, he was actually the better choice at the time he became mayor. That's how bad many of them are.
