Yeah I knew he was a collector to the point of obsession.  It's great he's donating most back.  I realize people have their hobbies.  It struck me odd why a Brit would be so fascinated about the Alamo. Then again I'd feel the same way if a Kurd would be as well....you know what I mean (I hope)

Herbn, I hope you change ur mind. Maybe go with the flow or the 80/20 rule. If 80% of my time on this Earth, I'm doing what makes me happy, things r going good. I've had years in a row at 20%, so when I'm rolling at 80%, it's good. I think it's better to spend time with Art, even when I may not be crazy about the topic. Maybe think about staying g on the nights when it's interesting to you & go spend time elsewhere when it's not. I always get a kick out of your thoughts befrIend and will miss your side views if you go. Whatever you decide, may you walk in beauty.

He got into watching that old great show as a kid "Davy Crockett" and they learning about his heroic demise and then obsessed over The Alamo. Lucky for him he got so rich he could indulge his obsession. I think it is awesome. So many blow money on stuff or kill themselves due to indulging in other things. And find it interesting how things as a child can become interested/obsessed, and later when one has means, can realize that obsession, or not. Rosebud....
