Connie is terrible.
===================================================
'Allo!
With you i am yet.
I like Connie.
She sounds like someone sitting in the kitchen drinking cooking sherry.
This seems more fun to hear than all the grim readers.
Particularly with some darker subject matters.
Yust as i said before referring to Mz.L.Howe,:
"She seems like an nice girl who's fallen in with bad companions"
I think C2C could be o.k.with me if more femmes were allowed to give the show an lighter, more coffee-kklatch-ish touch.
Und zo,i put in my nominations for touchy-feely subject matter instead of relentless snake-oil shilling by whomever.
I still think that she could do:
"Paranormal Gustatory Madness"
W/:
1)"Alferd Packer's Ghost:WeeGee based spelling Recepes for 'Long Pig'
OR:
2)"Papua N.G.Kannibobbles"discuss:'Favorite Recipes'with open lines for nominateing famous Holly-Wood Ham "Actors"that would make for an good Luau BBQ/Roast,etc..
And:Straw Polls...

This Friday will be Noory Free (also Saturday and Sunday).  Connie Willis will host, taking another look at the Bigfoot 1967 Patterson film - Truth or Hoax?

"Veteran film industry special makeup effects designer Bill Munns joins guest host Connie Willis (email) for a discussion on his analysis of the controversial Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot film. Dubbing the creature, "Patty," Munns addresses the question of whether she was indeed a genuine cryptid, or just a person in a costume."

Hmmm, had it for dinner last night.

Strange that c2cam updated the Friday guest schedule information after Art's show last night on bigfoot that featured a lot of discussion of the 1967 Patterson Film.
Just a coincidence?   8)

Patterson/Gimlin footage ..... looks very convincing to-day, as it did in 1967
'Planet of the Apes' movie used 'the best of the best' make-up artists, costume people, and camera tricks. It still, and always will look like a 'man in a suit' ..... 1968

Connie is awful.  The only good thing I can say about her is that she is better than Noory........and we all know that isn't saying much.

'Allo!
With you i am still.
Funny how thyme slips away.
Yust yesterday i was stateing that,i believe mz.willis deserves an stronger presence on C2C.
You fellah-hin whom hate on her are yust beyond the pale for me.
She seems an antedote and medicine for melancholy after days of grinding mundanitized darkness.
I hope she gets up-graded to more hosting to besmirch the un-relenting downer moods that appear to engulf the show via the male hosts like Mr.Schrader, whom is not bad, over all.

Beelz I've read enough of your posts that I'm starting to understand them now ... and, sometimes I even agree with you.   ??? ;)

Post or even PM me. I like squirrels, well ok, I don't but I do like one of the varieties I have: Rock Squirrels. And the kind being killed by immigration in England and elsewhere Red Squirrels. Those common, gray rats-with-tails? Not so much, but I don't kill them!
I enjoy the Beelz posts but have never understood them. Admittedly never spent much time deciphering but almost did with his recent post including the train tunnel. NSA has, likely, been locked up computing the images Beelx, Star, Rutger, etc post in, what would seem to mortals, odd groupings, combinations, and enigmas. SO I'm curious what was the message(s) or hack/cipher to figure out? Strange symbol seems a "key"?

I theorize their impressionistic style can be interpreted with a kind of detached pattern recognition approach.  You must let the words mingle and flow and their structure/content will reveal symbols/metaphors which point to the true meanings.  I'm still working out the details.

In other words, when reading Beelz, it helps if you're drunk.
(seriously, I am this close to getting the arcane stylee and obtuse wit of Mr. B)

Survivorman, Les Stroud is a really interesting guy and should make for a good guest.

I used to think he sucked since he's always complaining about lugging his cameras around, and over-dramatizing how perilous every moment is .... however, I've since come to realize he's the real thing ... as opposed to that Man v. Wild guy who's more of a flamboyant showman with his big filming crew and (I'm pretty sure) staged sequences.

Thus if it really came down to nuts & bolts survival (not necessarily fun adventure or being comfortable), I'd go with Les hands down.  He'd be interesting to have on with Art.  I'll add him to my next suggestion list I'm working on.

Ha.  I used to get a chuckle over his constant complaints during the show as well.  But I do think he'll make a good guest, and would really like for Art to have him on.  Any anticipation I have for his appearance tonight is tempered by my near dread of Connie's annoying giggling, and all too frequent reminders of what show I'm tuned in to.

Scully

I did so much want this to be a good Bigfoot show.

Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha is ruining it from the get-go.  Not to mention that's she's blown most of the first hour using Jorch's pile of 3x5 cards ... what got you into this? ... blah, blah, blah ...  :-*

Listening to Connie Willis for the first time. Didn't know it was possible to find someone nearly as awkward and smarmy as Dave.

The buttocks were on your face, Les?

Connie, you idiot.

My jaw dropped at that one, too.  After he had gone into great detail about how something was sitting on his arm, and compared it to how laying on one's arm will cut off the circulation and cause dreams about not being able to use it, and so forth.

I'd like to go back and relisten to that, because the way I heard it, she said, "So Bigfoot was sitting on your face?"

Is it possible she and Jorch are twins separated at birth?  ::)

I think she said both.

Enjoying Les' bewildered pauses, though.

One would say that until turning into a throbbing ball of energy, and then bursting the studio into fire...

Sounds hawt, or I have my guest hosts mixed up...

Just Me

I gave Connie a chance, she giggled about everything uncontrollably and by the end of the first hour I had enough. She sounds like a parabnormal date snoron shill queen. I bet on a date she wouldn't shut her mouth and would continue to giggle as she told the sucker dating her all about how she loves being on the tv, radio and parabnormal dating service where the snoron is so sweet and lovable and , enough, YUK, it was sickening.

I pulled the plug on the radio and turned on tv.

ItsOver

I was listening to the last hour of SIT and I thought I'd see who was hosting C2C last night.  Maybe Good Dave or even Syrett, which I can sometimes tolerate.  As soon as I heard it was Willis, I knew it was time to turn off the radio and catch some sleep.
