everybody should email and fastblast noory to get doug back on c2c to comment about this development.  He could compare notes with Art Bell and his wife Airyn's age difference too ;D

doug is one of noory's favorite actors for his character in the movie, The Green Mile.
he also had an early favorite recurring villian role on the X-Files show.
doug played recently the character Horace in the Dharma initiative in the TV series Lost:

After seeing pictures of her......there is no way she is 16. She looks 27 at least, with work done.

Actor Doug Hutchison, 51, has found love... with a 16-year-old aspiring pop singer.
The actor, whose most notable recent role was as Dharma leader Horace Godspeed in "Lost," and who has also appeared in "The Green Mile" and "The X-Files," announced he married teenager Courtney Stodden last month.

"Doug Anthony Hutchison and Courtney Alexis Stodden became husband and wife on Friday May 20, 2011, at 12 PM in The Little Chapel of Flowers in Las Vegas, Nevada," he posted on his website. "Mr. and Mrs. Hutchison live together happily ensconced in their Hollywood Hills home with their lil' pups, Everette and Tuna!"

A rep for the couple acknowledged the couple's drastic age gap, but stressed they are in love.
"We're aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial," the couple said in a statement to Access Hollywood via their rep. "But we're very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless."

The couple's rep confirmed to Access that Courtney is indeed 16 and said the singer's mother gave permission for her daughter to marry the actor.

She'll be part of Hef's Harem within 5 years. She has that generic vacant blonde look that just has "sex tape/reality show" written all over her.

I don't condone genuine abuse or exploitation or victimization in any sense, and I definitely see the creepy aspect to this. BUT....

I'll be the one who says it...1, none of our business, 2, it hardly seems like she's being victimized or exploited in any way (if anything HE is, since he has a minor degree of celebrity) and 3) 50, 75, 100 years ago...it wouldn't have raised an eyebrow. Hell, even 30 years ago--ever seen the movie "Wanda Nevada" with Peter Fonda and Brooke Shields, from 1979? This couple would LOVE that movie.

Just saying that this is an issue that's shifted with the times and will shift again especially given the increasing sexualization of society on all levels (watch the South Park episode about the Jonas Brothers--I think it's called "The Ring"--to see a brilliant examination of the inherent hypocrisy of repression on one side and bombarding young people with sexual imagery in advertising and entertainment on the other--nevermind the changing sexual/cultural mores of our society and all their inherent anachronisms...)

But in a case like this, in the end, it comes down to the two people involved. If no one is being hurt, used, or forced to do anything against their will, then--so be it. And it looks like that's the case. So--none of my business. Just sayin'.

OK.  The interesting thing turns out to be where do we draw the line between minding-your-own-business and behavior we need to control?  We all get that a sixteen year old can say whether she's being exploited or not, but why do we set the age of consent higher in this country?

Do we object only when it adversely affects all of us, like littering or air pollution?  In that case, we are saying that the ability to stop conceiving children, or killing them before they are born, allows us to stop protecting sixteen year olds from decisions they don't recognize could harm them later in life.   Does it matter?

China's ability to control reproductive choice on gender has resulted in their population choosing widely that a boy was more desirable than a girl.  This is causing huge problems in China AND Japan where large numbers of mateless teenage males travel in packs loitering in train stations and committing crimes.

See, now it gets interesting.  It certainly would benefit their societies if these rootless hormonal males did something to contribute to society.  Oh, I know, they could care for the burgeoning elderly population--scratch that, they have designed robots for that.  And robots for their sexual needs as well.  Any of this create a problem for you?  For China or Japan?

Interesting world, eh?

Yes, reminds me of Lars The Real Girl, as in, Is it real or is it someone who looks like what he imagines when he masturbates.

The renown philosopher/model Jerri Hall (formerly married to Mick Jagger) said when asked if sex was the reason Mick was attracted to her, "No.  We read the same books. Duh."

Wonder if that's her real skin or if it's "incredibly lifelike plastodermis"

I'll have to learn her name...I'm always looking for new entries in my various "death pools". This girl has "Star 80" practically in neon on her forehead.

Not to be too morbid about it... ;D

truthsbaby

ummm I am a little disturbed by this..I am thinking had it been my daughter I would have told them to wait 2-3 years...IF it is "love" they are actually feeling, It will still be there in 2 yrs...btw I would say the same to my son...I am more disturbed by the parents consent than anything...Surly waiting a couple of years was reasonable. As for right or wrong and morality of this ... really I could care less but they are in the "radar" and being there they are subject to the opinions of others...I kind of am laughing to myself thinking back to being 16-19 for girls it is a time of HUGE change...perhaps the parents realized how difficult girls can be at that age and cut her loose bahaha....this from a household of 6 girls...oh well paybacks a bitch when his health issues start popping up....I have a hard time getting my 20-30somthing yr old's to visit with their aging sick.. grandparents....should be interesting to see how this all plays out long term..

so best I can do is wish em all the luck in the world...and pray for them...lol

Small penis needs small vagina.

"Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates" by Tom Robbins, addresses such age gaps. Interesting book and seemed to ring true in some of its observations about Cowboys and Angels in the CIA and at the time it was written, was ahead of its time regarding electronic communication abilities which made me consider that Tom had a friend or two in the Agency.

(the effects of ingesting ayahuasca also rang true - no surprise there)

Highly recommended. The book. Not marrying a sixteen-year-old.

Back on topic - If she looks this old at 16, she is going to look like pure hell at 30.

As Bill Maher says "Show me a beautiful woman and I will show you a man tired of fucking her."

Now maybe they do love each other. I have no facts either way. But I conjecture there is little equality in their level of income, education, or general sophistication. If she is 16 no matter how full her life has been her emotional level is still an adolescent. Perhaps entering into some level of actual intimacy. However being involved with someone that much older more than likely will lead to isolation.

He however is entering into the later stages of emotional development. He is not far from a period in life where one starts to look back and take solace in understanding how he arrived to now. That position is almost impossible to translate to someone closer to his granddaughter's age.

But in today's world everything is much more complicated and yet viewed more simplistically. So who knows. Certainly a large group of men think he has hit the lottery. I doubt it.

Not necessarily.  When I was 16 years old I could go into a bar and order a drink (which I did to the delight of my girlfriends waiting outside).  Now I am in my sixties and people often mistake me for someone much younger.   Aging has a lot to do with genetics, Latina women getting a break there.  This is a thin-skinned blonde though and everyone knows they do not keep well without refrigeration (google Bridget Bardot and look through your eyelashes).

SHE is 16? GTFO

For a lot of girls - and some boys too (though in general they mature more slowly) there is this generic "anywhere between 15 and 25" look they can have.  Particularly in a still shot where you can't see her demeanor, and where she can be done up perfect with no time to get mussed.

Also - if she were, say, 28 - with that harsh over-head lighting, you 'd know it.  Not that she'd look old - just not quite so fresh-off-the-vine.

Boy ... flashbacks of Jerry Lee Lewis. Helluva piano player though. Poor girl. Unfortunately I can still recall some of the dumb things I did at that age. I'm quite sure when she's fifty-something this will be the "stupid move" memory at the top of her list. If I was the mom ... I'd remind her (often) to take her "pill".

She reminds me of some of the lost souls he married in the early 80's...they're long gone,Jerry's still here.

According to Wikileaks, Jerry lives happily in Mississippi with his family.  Of dogs?

The 6th time is a charm. And apparently his last marriage ended in divorce, as opposed to the missus deceased at the bottom of a pool('83) or beneath an empty medicine cabinet('84). That's progress.

It's a c-list Hollywood-type marriage (that went down in Vegas).  I give it 5 years tops.  And thats being generous.

In love?  Possibly, but I doubt it.  In-fatuation?  Undoubtedly.

They will divorce when he experiences a serious illness.

Is there software that can be loaded in this environment to create a divorce/separation pool?

March of 2013 is the square I want.

I will also contribute a prize for the pool:  A double tape VHS copy of The Green Mile.

More like inflatulation.  She'll walk with what's left of his money when she stops growing in a couple of years.

'Lost' Actor Doug Hutchison Dishes On Marriage To 16-Year-Old Singer

Actor Doug Hutchison, 51, made headlines when he announced that he had married 16-year-old aspiring pop singer Courtney Stodden in May. Now, the couple is dishing on their controversial relationship.

"The way we met was really beautiful," Courtney said in an interview with "Good Morning America" on Friday. "My mother was managing my career. Her friend told my mother that [Hutchison was] holding some workshops for acting. And I was very interested in acting. So what better way than to connect that way?"

'She sent me an e-mail. And our exchange, at first, was just really about business," Doug recalled.
"Totally innocent," Courtney added.

According to Doug, the teen made the first move.
"Yeah, she was being very flirtatious," he explained.
"Well come on, he's so handsome," the 16-year-old said.

The actor initially thought Courtney was in her twenties when he viewed her website.
"[My] world turned upside down," he said of finding out her true age. "It didn't make me want to walk away, but it definitely was a struggle inside my heart because I had already started falling for her."
The couple said their courtship lasted four months via e-mail and phone.

"It was a really beautiful and unique way to get to know someone, because we didn't have the distraction of the physical," the actor said. "We could only get to know each other through our words and our sentiments."
During their online courtship, Courtney's mom, Krista Stodden, monitored their interactions and was the one who first suggested they wed.
"It was Krista who said, 'You know, you guys could get married if you want. There are ways to do that. There are certain states,'" Doug said, referring to the 39 states that allow 16-year-olds to marry with parental consent and a birth certificate.

Doug proposed to Courtney during their first meeting and then flew to Las Vegas, where they were married.
"I was a virgin," Courtney said. "I knew that if I kept that, I would really be blessed with a beautiful gift. And God did. He blessed me with my soulmate. So I'm really thankful for that."

The actor, who is also known for his role in "The Green Mile," is well-aware of the criticism his marriage has received.
"I'm a pervert, Courtney is a whore... Courtney's parents are the worst parents in the world - pimps selling their daughter," he said, recounting his critics' remarks. "If [people] need to feel this way ... it's OK. I've been called worse than a pedophile in my life."

The couple also laughed off rumors that Courtney has had plastic surgery.
"It's real," she said of her body. "It's rill [sic], head to toe.... R-I-double L."
"Courtney's plastic surgeon was God," Doug added.

The couple said they hope to eventually start a family and are considering the possibility of a reality show

Hmm...they're still together? Well, I lost that bet.

Chances are still decent in that death pool, I think...

I'm guessing Viacom, the uber-lords of trash reality tv, will put them on CMT. CMT caters toward white imbeciles, whilst VH1 caters to black imbeciles. This show would certainly fall into the former category. What a world...
