That's fine. There is a solution. Don't listen. Turn it off. Or call in and debate them. It is very easy to do, especially with the number of channels, sites, podcasts, shows, etc. Simply find something you like and go there. Easy. I "wanna take a ride" with whatever the new show will be. And I never minded guests, subjects, etc if the interview and callers were good. Crazier were often the best shows. I also don't mind listening to people I totally disagree with politically or otherwise. I guess call me tolerant. It is not like I'm listening for knowledge or education- though I love when he had/has legit guests on and hope he does that also with MITD.

Thanks for telling me I can turn it off, you have an incredible grasp on the absolutely obvious.

The Y2k thing kills me, it was a real problem, the reason it did not cause trouble is exactly because we gave it so much hype that a lot of big company's fixed it before it became a big problem, and that's the truth.

Could you imagine having to be the decision maker for all of your listeners?  YIKES!!!  Fortunately, I do make my own decisions.  I may not always agree with you, but at least you know that I do my own thinking.

C'MON JULY 20TH!!!

Independent entertainment and news via (radio, web, record companies) is much more interesting than what the vanilla, water downed corporate media could ever offer.  I also like to hear a variety of opinions and enjoy doing my own research to find out what is really happening in the world.


For those who want to hear one manufactured, safe opinion or world view, you have the option of tuning into mainstream news or music via the television or radio.


I am even more excited that Art is not tied to some major corporation anymore.

I spent the whole weekend listening to Art replays on U7.  Good God, I forgot just how pleasant he was on the radio, treating everyone with respect.  "Hi Art, Carl from Utah / Hello sir!"


Just incredible radio, interviewing and content.  A replay from 1997 had him warning the guest about how they specifically don't screen calls on this show so he had no idea who was going to call in and ask what questions.


I've been nostalgic as hell lately and U7 isn't helping me relive those days.  I absolutely can not wait until the 20th.

I am not "constantly bitching about some show by JBW". I've mentioned it a few times, I will concede. However, many other people have complained about it as well. But if you want to talk about things that people "constantly" do, I can tell you that I, and many other perceptive people have noticed that YOU are CONSTANTLY making racially-tinged comments, and it is completely obvious to anyone who's read a number of your posts, that you'd really like to jump in whole hog and make outright racist comments, but you obviously don't have the balls, Herr Albrecht. At least I have the stones to say what I really think. You are obviously a coward. Not that I agree with your racialist world view. But if that's the way you really think, at least have the stones to come out with it, instead of making sly little racialist comments here and there.

I don't see what the issue is. I don't buy 80% of the claims made by Art's guests and even less of Wells', but Art's never presented his topics as anything but "Listen and you decide". All he does is provide a quality interview and draw attention to alternative news and provide, at the very least, entertainment. At the best, the show can be outright enlightening. If you can't suffer an obvious fraud on the show, well, change the dial to political talk or go listen to Dave talk about turmeric and check back the next show.

I mean, jeez, let Art and Hoagland's shows air and provide feedback. Don't try to crush 'em before they get off the ground.

Sure, I have no problem with stating that I think Western Civilization (call it 'white' if you wish) is the best one, at least yet, and no apologies what so ever for stating it. You see my posts. That said, I don't mind others, or enjoy their food, culture, people, or doing business with them, etc. Heck, even in so called "white" countries I think the globalization and amalgamation is sometimes too much. Let people be. It makes travel, work, and the world more interesting without everything being a McD's, or worse a new war. But I will also, no apologizing, say there should be borders and we should take the best of other cultures, and export the best of ours, and not have incentives for the dregs to emigrate to Western nations, or an outright open border, with a country that is near failed corrupt, narco-state. Or spending trillions to defend OTHER countries's borders and shipping lanes, but not ours.

Back to Art Bell, (are you a paralegal perhaps?) I can't wait for MITD because, unlike some, he is interesting and has good interviews- even with people he might disagree with. AND, unlike some, will shut 'em down good if his dander rises!

I don't think that Art needs defending.  When trying to give "alternatives" you are bound to "miss" a few (even health related junk and the likes.)  I recall Knapp getting very excited about resveritrol (sp?)  You take chances to bring alternatives, and some of your guests will be whack jobs, some will be con men.  The thing is that both men provide information, ask questions and make people aware of something not necessarily hitting the main stream.  After that, it is up to us to judge and research. 


Yes, I do hold Jorch responsible for his shows.  But he provides one sided views, does so with great regularity and provides an "infomercial" quality show...


Having said all of that, do you recall Y2K?  It is not like the mainstream was not whipping up panic that everything from microwaves to cars to electric systems were going to fail.  I am not somebody who believes that having people prepare for the worst was a bad thing, even if it did not come to pass.  Maybe a few people actually have a bag of food and some water for when a natural disaster hits their area...

Absolutely.  Similar thoughts here.  I had to laugh when I read the toooomeric comment.  I don't think Art will be touching toooomeric, Carnivora, or The Numbers Lady with a one mile pole.  Thankfully.

Whether you love them or hate them, there are only a few broadcasters over the last few decades who really made a major impression.  Limbaugh would be one and Art would be another.  The rest, including the balloon man and the suspender man, you can debate.

I am anxiously awaiting your return, Art.

this is a major mistake. im a reddit user and /r/paranormal has about 70k subscribers. /r/iama (reddits real ama forum) has over 8 million. why in all hell wouldnt this get set up in the actual ama forum (who would gladly allow him to do so) where it will potentially reach 8 million users (more if it makes it to the front page of reddit).


everyone in /r/paranormal is already going to know about arts return.


art if you get a chance, you should remedy this because you are blowing a major chance to reach out to some potential new listeners and reddits real ama forum truly is a great forum for publicity thats why even hollywood a list actors use it.

I see you are STILL having issues with the difference between plurals and possessives -- a plural ends in an S and a possessive ends with an apostrophe and an S as in Art's cats. --- not Arts cat's. Well unless somebody else was posting about Art's cat's cute videos. .. well -- lesson concluded -- for now. And the plural of a noun that ends in Y is usually "ies"... Just a pet peeve and would hate for anyone to think you are an uneducated redneck.
