Just randomly, some of my favorite topics:

Howard Hughes
electronic surveillance
archeology
lost technology (The Antikythera Device)
Drug War
civil liberties
psychedelics
entertainers (Willie Nelson, Eric Burdon, Gordon Lightfoot, George Carlin)
economics
social/cultural (Robert Anton Wilson)

For a certain kind of "humor":

Ed Dames
Gerald Celente
Ingo Swann

Mine would be time travel and all the physics/scientific theories behind it.

I'm not sure it qualifies as a topic but I love the guests with crazy ideas or stories.  The ones where it's obvious that Art doesn't believe them but keeps on asking fun questions.  The key to these for me are that the guest has to sound like they really believe their own ideas or stories.  Sometimes Art can throw a really odd question at the guest that they weren't prepared for.  The good guests can pull the strangest answers out of their ass and make their stories even better.  If you pay close attention during these interviews you can pick up on when Art will pause for a bit and i'm pretty sure he's trying to figure out how to corner these people with their own answers.  It's like a cat and mouse game.

Guests like that are pretty rare.  As a backup answer I'll say anything related to science and space.

Good stuff!

Leonard Nimoy was a fun interview as was Willie Nelson.

Carlin & Eric Burdon were two other real classics.

Burdon's "My Secret Life" is the shit.

I like listening to anyone who has a interesting story, or is a interesting person.

Not a huge fan of religious, or medical crap shows.

I like finding out what's up with Billy Mumy.
I dig calls about people hearing helicopters at 3am.
The numbers lady is sexy and interesting to boot.
I enjoy the optimistic forecasts of Celente and Corsi.
Alex Jones contributions are always informative, truthful and make me prepared to give hot takes on world affairs at the water cooler the next morning.
I live for silly tall tales told by elderly English gentlemen.
I get my freak on to UFO Phil's pulsating music.

I like credible UFO material.  I think most of the abductees sound like nutjobs though.  I like cryptozoology shows if there is at least some vague attempt to be honest.  I like hearing stories about Bigfoot and the like.  I actually liked the EVP material (at least at first).  Now, so much of it is clearly just some huckster looking to make a sale (or looking for attention).  Honestly, I am fairly skeptical by nature.  I was in law enforcement for 13 years as an evidence technician and CSI.  CSI work is nothing like what you see on TV and the movies.  For me, the reality was sad, smelly, grubby work.  It is very rare that some trace compound on a bit of clothing puts somebody away.  Criminal profiling and all of that makes for great television, but is not often used in most crime solving (in my experience).  My department did consult psychics once in a great while on a dead-end case.  Most of the time, however, criminals are simply stupid and commit their crimes in front of witnesses.  Now, I teach rhetoric and writing at the junior college level, so I genuinely try to weigh the arguments and evidence someone presents when making an argument.  Most of the time, the level of argument and support on C2C is pretty dreadful.  I think Art used to at least try to note when things seemed less-than-credible.  Noory just (figuratively speaking) nods at everything anyone says and mumbles, "Thumthing is definitely happening."

Hahahaha.... all the above plus I just LOVE the in-depth, intellectual assessments provided by Jorch.

For what it's worth, just thought I'd weigh in with my 2 cents. The basic topics that interest me and were the main reason that my father and I first started listening to Art Bell back in the day, (aside from having to stay awake late at night on long road trips) are the basic unexplained/paranormal topics that are right down to the point and aren't distorted or overanalyzed out the wazoo!

Mainly UFO's, aliens, Roswell, MIB's, govt. cover up, etc. Ghosts and spirituality. Bigfoot, Loch Ness Monster, or any other legendary creatures. Miscellaneous topics that also deal with conspiracies, politics, or any big time (or just plain weird) guests. That's something that Snoory can NEVER match! I'd like to see broom mouth get Willie Nelson or Lenard Nimoy to spend their precious time on his waste of air time!

HorrorRetro

UFOs, MIB, underground bunkers, fringe archaeology, alternative religions -- minus the fluffy crystal worship crap.  Back in the day, those subjects would get me interested in a show.

And how. Also, Richard Hoagland's fascinating theories about space exploration, and prophet John Hogue's eerily accurate predictions.

Shame on me for overlooking those esteemed geniuses who volunteer their wisdom and light the world with insights. And Ed Dames shall not be overlooked. A patriot, an altruist, noble beyond words.

They make movies about guys like him. To use the argot of "the street", he's a bad muthafucka.

The animal attack stories are classic.  You can tell the gentleman relating said stories is compassionate, respectful, and not getting off on the gory details on any level.

EVP`s. I was always a skeptic until my wife and sis-in-law went to a graveyard to do some paranormal investigation of their own. They listened to the recordings over the air and heard nothing. I listened to the recordings through headphones and was taken aback at what I heard. Now my faith may not be as strong as others but I do believe in what I heard.

I would not dare, because if I could get through the call screen gestapo I would ask HIM all the questions I want answered here which he would not dare do. I would somehow have a bad connection and he would ask me to "call back".
