I'm looking forward to hearing him.
me too.  and in particular, i'm looking forward to another appearance with the ghost investigators society.

Is that the male/female duo who did those EVP shows? Those are some of my favorites, along with the ghost to ghost programs, though I don't believe in the supernatural.

I tried to listen this morning, but just couldn't.  I made it to the first EVP and shut it off.  I don't know why those bother me so much.  I'm sad that I missed an Art show.  :'(

Ian's Saturday show has been pretty good!

I happened to "aquire" a batch of ghost to ghost shows i believe its 89-2004/5 and they are just great.

Wow.  I'd be willing to pay good money to get ahold of any pre-1993 Ghost to Ghost shows...

Did anyone else catch that Art had the same caller with the same story on both the 10/29 GIS show and G2G on 10/31?  It was the lady who called in with the story about how she loaned her sister her car, she got killed in an accident, and then one day her sister's ghost told her to play the album on her record player and it turned out to be some Neil Young song about dead sisters from car accidents that make the other sister listen to records and call Art Bell twice*

Art didn't catch on the second time until it was too late then kind of gave her the bum's rush off the show.

*Okay, maybe just about a dead person somehow.

I heard the first time she called, but not the one on Halloween. That's kinda odd of her.

Oddly enough, I just heard another duplicate caller to the show.  I listen to Streamlink at work.  I was listening to 11/4 or 11/5 yesterday, and a guy called in from Eugene, OR.  He had a story from when he was a kid.  His sister had a paper route, he was like 10, and she woke him up to go with her that morning on her rounds.  She told him there were things up in the sky, and he said they made a sound like a fire extinquisher when they moved around.  On some street there were hundreds of cats, all just hanging out and looking up at a big UFO hovering above them, and that's all he remembers because he got abducted right then.

I know I heard this on another show, either from the summer or fall.  The call screeners are really slacking, and why would you keep calling with the same story?   Of course with this one, Noory was extremely interested and excited about it. Wow.  Cats you say?  Fascinating.

some people are just totally attention starved.  it's annoying.

Mark me down as another non-believer but huge fan of G2G. Listening to these shows and actually letting myself get caught up in the stories I have totally felt chills. Some of my favorites when Art is hosting. I'm glad I missed the Noory version, I imagine it would be just another Noory show - which is to say, essentially just background noise while I occupy myself with something else.

I'm not sure if it was a G2G call or not, but one of the creepiest ones I ever heard on Coast was a caller who described driving down a road, and what he thought was a deer jumped out in front of the car. Then as he swerved to avoid it he saw that the creature ACTUALLY HAD AN OLD WOMANS FACE OH GOD

*shiver*

I don't know why I find that so terrifying. Maybe it's because everyone knows how scary it is when an animal jumps in front of the car at night, and the adrenaline rush that goes along with it. I imagine you're alone in the car and no one else is around. Also it would probably happen on some isolated road where no one would be around to help if something terrible did happen. All of these things combine to not only make you more vulnerable but also make whatever-it-is-out-there even more horrible. I think the combination of impossible animal with human like features just has a naturally messed up folklore quality to it. Each piece of the story and the whole setting in general just works really well. Gets me every time :)

I heard that same lady on MV's stream a few weeks ago.  Don't know exactly when she called in, but it was a few years ago.  The song was "Don't Let it Bring You Down".  I remembered that because it's one of my favorite Neil Young songs.  She called ANOTHER time, more recently.  Art let her tell the story AGAIN lol.  The only difference was the first time she brought up the song's title Art said "Oh yeah, I know that song." and the second time Art just said "uh huh".  Other than that it was a carbon copy.  I even checked the date on the stream to see if it was that same show I had heard before, but no dice.

Weird how some people do that.

Renaldo

So, you're saying that she's potentially been doing this for years?  :o
