Why is George so frightened of Ouija boards?

I heard him one night say he at one time thought of bringing an Ouija board into the studio and having a live seance on the air, but he stated he was afraid that the spirits might be of not good nature and be delivered directly into the minds of the listening audience!

He was worried this might not be good and he didn't want to take responsibility for causing demonic possession!

Noory has always been afraid of evil demons and evil spirits.
He probably had some bad experience when he was a kid playing with a Ouija board with other little kids?
I bet Noory probably made a deal with the devil, how else can we explain his continuing hosting of c2cam for over 10 years now?

I don't care. I'm more curious about why Art was afraid, or at least, against them. Several times he mentioned a personal experience he "didn't want to go into" n I'm still curious about that. Comments in passing etc. George? Not so much, weak marketing ploys about polls n fake "Im not gonna do it" stuff.

Hey everyone!  My first replies!

But you are right, I always feel George is always holding things back!  Let's hear what he really thinks!  Well...actually that might be frightening

But if he is going to do the on air session, just do it!  Stop backing out...

It's his show now! (as we can all tell... :(  )

;D

What do you think George would ask the Ouija board?

(can't wait to hear these replies) lol

Long live Coast 2 coast am!  For better or for worse!!!

It's obvious George sold his soul for success.  "Success".

He was freaked out when the board spelled "OF COURSH"

Nick el Ass

He is afraid someone on the other side will tell him he sucks.

cweb

Maybe the board spelled out "put down the fucking 3x5 cards, George."

It did tell him he sucks and then he realized he couldn't hang up.

I'm not sure where to post this, but I will here.  I had a troubling experience with an online Ouija board a few days ago.  There is one where you type the question and put your mouse on the planchet.  It will spell out the answers.  I was being insistent on finding out more detailed information on the question I was asking it. Then it spelled out the following message:  GO AWAY NOW!  It was a yes or no answer.

Those words scared me.  It seems it was controlled even online by a negative spirit.  I left the board, and I have not been back.

i prefer the "smoking head of bob" personally.

George is afraid of losing a big part of his listening audience who most definitely made it apparent they would bail on him if he started to dabble in demon doors.

I'm channeling that site right now!  It's saying, "Come back Dateline.  We know where you left your ball gag and it's NOT at your mom's!"

I would love to hear Arts reasoning.  He would always talk about how he cant talk about his experience.

I can see it all now. George and Tommy sitting in the studio in their underwear with a fancy glow in the dark Ouija board. Then the ghost of Coast would come through, and let everyone know how they killed a once great show. All you would here is them screaming, and George would say they had a bad connection. Next caller... ummm, spirit.

I have a theory on this.  We all know how fond Noory is of classic TV.  He probably watched a lot of "Sanford and Son" back in the day.  Over time, he noted that every time poor Fred feigned a heart attack, he would say (to Noory's ear) "I'm coming to meet you Weeji!".  He concluded that Ouija boards must therefore induce cardiac arrest.

Juan Cena

The fact that Ouija is spelled O-U-I-J-A, but is pronounced "wee-gee" confuses Snory.

zeebo

He once dropped a squeegee on his toe and it hurt, weegee sounds close enough to not take any chances.

Exactly.  He really emphasizes "demons," and he seems to have on exorcists and those type of people fairly often.

I wonder if he's ever seen a psychiatrist?  Seriously, having listened to this clown for way too long, I think the guy has some pretty serious internal stuff he should be dealing with.

I doubt he's afraid of them.

He's just trying to copy Art's bit of being afraid of them.

Noory believes he surpasses Art as far as on air presence and talent is concerned.

Are you sure? He might, though I recall after a caller mentioned Bell he said that Art was a slightly better host. SLIGHTLY. The memory still makes me laugh
