Whatever.
The JBW interview on Red Ice was good. He explains a lot more coherently his ideas and experience with C2C and corporate radio. He mentioning working for the CIA then.

So he was more coherent with someone interviewing him than he has been when speaking for himself on his own show?

I've been catching up with John B. The facts are these:

1) Putting his shows on a playlist to repeat results in his show's theme music being played twice, back-to-back--because the man insists on playing his show's theme music twice a day. Why, John B.? Why do you hate harmony?

2) Last week, he went on and on and on (and on) about the perils of consuming cannabis. Except, he didn't put it that way, he was talking about "smoking the marry wanna." I don't wanna get married, John B. Ask any of my exes.

3) I don't stream his shows video often, so I haven't seen this with my own eyes yet, but this week, he apologized to the audience for smoking tobacco on camera. He said he "wasn't going to, but I guess..." I hope the cancer in your lungs spreads to your head, before it spreads to your colon, Champ.

4) I feel like Santa Claus was just found dead from auto-erotic asphixiation. Hold me, while I bleed tears.

5) Maybe that last one wasn't a fact. *ceaseless weeping*

I wonder if he runs into problems like you mentioned in your 3rd point, if he will reconsider his views discussed in your 2nd point... which I'd discuss but won't because I didn't hear what he had to say.  Since they're both Texan,  I'd recommend Barry Cooper as a guest on that subject.  Former Texas state trooper, now marijuana advocate.  And has helped to collect evidence on corrupt law enforcement officials.  Jones has had him on a handful of times before.

Jackstar

It's cannabis, man. You're part of the problem. Get with the re-education program!

bigchucka

Probably is because I use the word that is predominantly used in the industry, at least that's the impression I get from what I watch or read.  I've had heard both though.  One's racist, the other's Latin, or possibly Greek.  Yeah, Greek. Went and looked...

The fact that no one has posted in this thread since April 28th shows just how unpopular John B Wells is.

Let me know when you've found out how many times more industrial hemp can be grown on the same plots of land that corn is presently grown on for the purpose of conversion to ethanol--which, as I'll remind you, can be made from HEMP just as easily as CORN, if not easier.

Looks like one of those 'daddy/son' relationships that seem so popular in a certain sub-culture in my big city.

Does hemp have nitrogen fixing bacteria in the roots? Like soybeans?  Corn is pretty destructive to soil.

JB really really likes Ty B, he even had him as a guest when he was doing a fill-in spot on an early morning drive-time show.

But more importantly what will happen to JBW when he turns up in Washington for Operation American Spring?

The same thing that happened to Ruben Salazar in Lost Angeles in 1970.  TPTB will have him smoked.

The same thing that happened to Ruben Salazar
Quote from: wikipedia
It was during his reporting for the Salazar story that Hunter S. Thompson and Oscar Zeta Acosta took a road trip to Las Vegas in order to escape the pressure of Los Angeles and to find a place where Acosta could discuss the case openly, without fear of retaliation from either the police or Chicanos who might see him as cooperating with the Establishment. The road trip to Vegas became the basis for Thompson's book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, with Acosta serving as the inspiration for the novel's Dr. Gonzo.

Well, that settles it: the man had to die. Gremlins.

Or be working on a book about 911 and government pedo-rings and then commit 'suicide'. RIP Hunter.

Huh.  Guess JBW is working on getting back to the "public airways."

Great minds think alike! Wells' website has its own forum now. The earliest post is from five days ago. I just noticed today... when, mysteriously, I got a forwarded reply from some user, direct into my inbox. Curious.

I would link to it, however... the forums are subscriber-only. That $5 a month just got a little more worthwhile.

One way to read that would be every time someone posts, you get an email.  That sounds annoying.

And about public airways... something he said but didn't provide specifics.  And most public airways are listenable for free online, which would kind of defeat the purpose of having a subscription service show, but would offer a regular, steady paycheck... makes me wonder how well things are actually going.

Another way to read that would be every time someone posts, I get blown--equally incorrect, but far less annoying. Maybe at first.

George Noory and Alex Jones, just as two obvious examples, broadcast their shows on public airwaves, as well as offer subscription services. I don't know what your point is, which makes me wonder how well things are actually going.

bigchucka

Point taken.  Not well, to answer your last comment.

Well, I hope you get better soon! .o/

This forum... it is juicy.

Somebody needs to talk about what happened with Elenin. The entirety of the federal government, all the 3 letter agencies and the Hollywood elite went to Colorado that weekend. There was a completely bogus 'film festival' going on showing fake movies in Aspen as a cover for the celebs. All the private aircraft were booked. Even Nate Rothschild came out of hiding and was seen hanging out with George Lucas and Tony Blair at the St. Regis. There was a DEFCON 1 exercise involving 107 federal agencies so they could all conveniently be in Denver that weekend. I called a bunch of 4&3 star hotels just to see if they were booked - you'd think that if there were 107 agencies in town they'd be full - they were all empty. I also asked if any of the conference rooms were free and every single hotel I called said they were vacant for the weekend and I could have my choice. I can only assume everyone was staying in the DUMBs. Even the presidents schedule showed him booked for an undetermined number of days in Denver with no appearances or events. Shortly after Elenin passed his schedule changed to Golf (not kidding). Elenin was classified as Torino scale 7; ": A very close encounter by a large object, which if occurring this century, poses an unprecedented but still uncertain threat of a global catastrophe. For such a threat in this century, international contingency planning is warranted, especially to determine urgently and conclusively whether or not a collision will occur." Anyway, moral is, the S almost hit the fan with Elenin on September 26th, 2011 and not only did the scum save themselves, they didn't bother to tell anyone before or after. All the media did was mock those concerned. Ken Burns actually let a clue slip on the Colbert Report on September 28th. Starts at 31 seconds. He says he 'had a drink with George Clooney in the mountains of Colorado the other day.' 2 days after Elenin missed us by .0007 AU. Not that it's any huge piece of evidence but when I saw it I logged it as another piece in the puzzle. If you can find a copy of the Aspen Times for that week it's a treasure trove of information. Can you believe Tony Blair, George Clooney, Nate Rothschild and Obama were in the same town on the same weekend and they weren't scheduled for anything? No interviews, no photographs, no charities, no announcements, no media, no dinners - nothing. Just a sh*tty film festival showing movies that no one ever heard of before or since. http://thecolbertreport.cc.com/videos/ndmtp9/ken-burns

Excellent. I paid for blood.

Reminds me of an article I read a while back about the other Koch brother suing someone for selling him fake bottles of Rothschild wine/champagne/whatever it was.  Of course if it's an expensive whatever, their name is gonna be on it...

That could be a good show topic. Clearly out of my league because nobody is going to bother to fake the stuff I buy, but I'm told that there is much business in the faking of wine to sales/auction to rich people.

That is classic. And I learned a new word: "oenophile". I guess if you are a billionaire you are a "oenophile", if you are a working man or worse homeless you are a "wino".
