Armed man in rainbow wig at Dairy Queen seeks to name Trump 'President King,' cops say  Read more at: https://www.miamiherald.com/news/nation-world/national/article265733431.html#storylink=cpy

QuoteThe man told officials that he was "undercover" and "working to restore (Donald) Trump to President King of the United States," the release said. He told officers that he was armed to "kill Democrats and liberals" and protect himself from "drug traffickers."

He was carrying a handgun with a round chambered and more ammunition in his pocket, police said. In his vehicle, authorities found two more handguns and a total of 62 rounds of ammunition.

I'm told you have about 5 minutes remaining to be thankful before I neck myself and trigger the imminent heat death collapse of your universe.

I don't make all the rules. I just make them classy.

QuoteAccording to his Facebook, this was not the first time he adorned the clown wig. A September 9 letter from Barren Run United Methodist Church said Stawovy attended church service in a 'clown costume and full makeup.'

Stawovy's appearance 'frightened' other attendees and he 'once again became argumentative and belligerent,' leading to the church banning him from the property.

He wrote '2nd Love Letters' and 'Praise the Lord' on the letter, which also said they 'wish that you are able to seek out the help that you need.'

Ok he looks like I thought but United Methodist?  :o

Imagine being drump tonight..update former Chief of staff, Mark Meadows has been subpoened and is complying with the DoJ.

If he's any sense he'll realise it never ends well lying for drump (Micheal Cohen) and expecting the orange one to also admit blame..

Presumably he and his spouse and family have reached an agreement that he'll tell the truth.

That's separate to the goings on with the stolen docs. Drump's ex lawyer Ms Bobbs has lawyered up because it seems drump lied to her about what he did and didn't have in his possession..Naturally (being dim) she believed him! And signed off as such to the FBI..Oh dear. ???

Still, I'm sure this misunderstanding will all be cleared up over a nice mug of tea. If she's lucky she won't lose her license to practice law, and hopefully not be charged with such messy crimes like fraud or obstruction of justice.

Still, they had plenty of warning who they were dealing with.

Naaa..if crims are going to do the crimes, then they should be held to account, agreed? After all, the million or so in prison in the US didn't get far with "I'm a victim if the fascist state" as a defence. No, not even guys arrested for not being rich and connected...see Matt Gaetz.

Criminalizing the opposition and rounding them up so that it's effectively a one party unistate? Nah! That's not fascism. 🙄

I would not get too excited about Meadows; it's apparently the same stuff he gave the Jan 6 Committee, which famously included the powerpoint plan to use the riots they were fomenting (including in all the state capitals, too, remember) to call out the National Guard under the Insurrection Act or something like that and seize the voting machines from the Chinese hackers or maybe the Italians I forget, probably the Vatican Bank and Soros and Fauci and this new devil Charles Schwab they have conjured somehow.

These things were just under discussion which isn't in itself a crime and the discussions are probably protected by executive privilege, but if Trumpykins gave any orders to bring them about, that is pretty treasony.  And we already know he was giving orders that people around him were quitting over and ignoring, like appointing Kraken Lady special counsel.  So far all verbal and no evidence but if he signed one of those drafts floating around, it's curtains.

If it had been half a million Patrinuts instead of only 60,000 in DC that day it would have been a different story but there was no way of knowing it would be a damp squib in advance.  These fuckers just didn't Trump hard enough I guess  :(

EVERY lawyer of standing and years of actual lawing both for and anti drump has pointed out her woeful lack of objectivity.

If drump then as far as she's concerned, you're above reproach: she even asked if his loss of reputation was taken into consideration? Really? It is the parties before the court or judge that needs to have 'standing,' not the judge or the lawyers but the plaintiff or parties bringing suit. Usually this means that the party needs to show that they have been harmed, or will be soon harmed. Or, as some cases, tangentially harmed in the future. Or, weakly, an interest in the case. (Some States have allowed also 'standing' to apply to non-entities, like environment, by another party who is a person/group, I think California did that.) But standing has nothing do with the the judge except that, in most cases, the judge determines if a ligitant has 'standing' (right to bring a suit) to the Court.

I meant status..A couple of glasses of white..

The upshot she's said she doesn't believe that there's any need to worry if he had/kept/sold/gave away anything that was top secret. The DoJ and intelligence services are in an impossible position. If agents are killed because drump compromised them, he should be tried for treason; sadly the actual statute for treason in the US only applies during war. And she should be impeached as a judge because she may as well be on his payroll.

Who is defending that? Trump is a proper real lifelong crook. I'm trying to recall. Which Country makes the Chinese/Mexican fentaynl deal actually seem tame because actually invaded turned when some country didn't want to be addicted? Which country shot up fellow white people and created the first concentration camps, mainly for the women and children since the men went into the bush to fight back so that some could get some Scholarships, sorry, I mean gold and diamond interests. And then abandon those loyals to machetes and rapine decades later because 'richer places to go' and 'popular opinion.' Or refused to pay loyalists from Nepal, Burma, Malaya, India, Kenya, etc for many decades, until they, mostly, died, and, finally got a weak pension or ability to emigrate.

ps: quick edit. I love British food, esp Scots but all the Islands. Strange. A lot better than Cali crap. Gimme savory over crap. So lest I offend. I also like your beers and warm ones, real.

I note that Al Gore vs. State of Florida (et al

Politics has become a religion. And the legal system follows. But a strange one in that positions flip very quickly. Think back just some years ago the so-called 'left' used to defend free speech and not like wars, now they love the CIA, wars, $$$ for more wars, and against free speech. Likewise years ago the so-called 'right' was against Big Government but when in power spend, spend, spend. The Democrats used to love States Rights and initiated a Civil War and, later, made monuments to remember and loved lynching and such. Now Democrats want to tear down their own monuments and encourage blacks to attack whites (no bail even if arrested) and government buildings (even if violated their mask rules ok to riot for BLM etc.) Republicans never went that far as Democrats but now are more of the States Rights types.

I think the goal was to stoke enough civil unrest, both in DC and the state capitals, that something like the National Guard or invoking the Insurrection Act would be demanded by regular folks.  When Trumpykins summoned everyone, he couldn't know how many people would (not) show up, what proportion of those would be meal team six or just nutty shofar-tooters, or whether antifa could be expected to turn out resulting in a general melee that could not be blamed on one side.

We antifa received a clear stand-down order ("never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake"), so he had to work with what he had.  But you may recall the "it was antifa" excuse from the original spin; they had that ready to go.  Fortunately there was no disguising the crowd of hillbillies, and it was small enough to be dispersed by a single casualty and a whiff of teargas.  But it could have been much different.

No it doesn't, and in retrospect the talk of the Insurrection Act/large-scale National Guard deployments seems silly as garrisoning the Capitol with troops, but that's only because of how many (few) people showed up, and because they were opposed only by the capitol police and not squads of antifa supersoldiers and busloads of Black Lives Matter as was hoped.

Remember, Trumpykins supposedly asked Alex Jones to coordinate the protest and he was clearly trying to keep people out of the Capitol with his bullhorn because he knew the temptation to storm the building was a provocation that would be exploited by the other side, which is why I don't really buy they were there to hang Pence or Pelosi.  I think the original plan was to fight antifa in the streets, but when we didn't show they had to do something and fell into temptation.

Alex never went into the Capitol and didn't exhort others to do so. Gatekeeper, possibly, like Toledo and Constantinople, few of which we know, certain elements like to control gates and open them at certain times. There are rumors behind the scenes. But he also could be just deluded, showman, salesman, or a righteous zealot. Idk. I like him because he made a name, and small fortune, for himself out of a free show on public access tv and giving away content. Before that was the thing. And I recall mid-90's him shouting and almost fighting Neo-Nazis trying to give out pamphlets at a gunshow (true story.) And who doesn't like local boy done good? And, maybe, hubris ultimately.

People don't know history or tactics and strategies. Or even Bible or Classic books! By design. More time is spent in public schools now lecturing about 'bullying,' BTLGQ+, or shooters than math, English, languages, history, civics, etc. An many have taken out- or restricted- athletics, gym, art, and music! Even ban 'oppressive' games during a, limited, recess. I have heard that they don't even READ the whole books, but, even in decent districts, just 'parts' of them. Where even allowed. The real 'book ban' people should be worried about are the Western Canon ones.

The question might be, as some speculate, is Alex a gatekeeper and intended results or a true believer and now going to be some kind of financial martyr?
