Wasn't "give so-and-so the business" Wally's line?

Yes mostly Wally, though Beaver and Eddie may have used it once in a while too.

I found a recent article that lists the Leave it to Beaver actors that are still alive.

Along with Beaver, his friends Larry, Gilbert, Richard are still alive.
There were a few of Beaver's friends that only appeared a couple times near the end of the series 1962-63. That included a 13 year old friend of Beaver name Mike, that was the first role of an actor that later appeared in the movie "Animal House" as Otter - Tim Matheson! A year later he was the voice of Jonny Quest and after that the voice of one of the young friends of Space Ghost!

This week along with the initial premature Tony Dow death announcement,  there was also a false report of the death of Michael J. Fox!

Bernard Cribbins obituary | Children's TV | The Guardian

I met him once at a fete about forty years ago, when he tried to help me cheat on the coconut shy, and then saw him a few years ago at a local theatre. He was always well known in this country but Doctor Who propelled him into stardom. RIP, Bernie.

Magnum ain't getting no more helicopter extracts

albrecht

This is not good news. FAKE NEWS! I heard he was only flying private charters on Coeur d'Alene for some Hollyweird bigwigs fleeing coastal areas that he met due to his connections with Ice Pick, RIP, and operating that nightclub after the series. Finally figured out that the Japs were too cheap and he couldn't deal with the extra camera weight but some former blues told him about the great Inland Empire so he now flies there, charges extra for the dotcom and Hollywood guys though and sometimes abandons them helisking or fishing for laughs.

83 - time sure does move on. I guess buying it in a car crash at that age is better than lingering with dementia or some other horrid thing.

Tried watching some Magnum awhile back. Couldn't get into it for some reason. One thing that was odd was that the first 10 episodes or so made used a different theme song. The change to the well known one was a good one - the original sucked.

Yeah.  The first theme was a bit....flaccid.

Was redeemed with cross-overs plots with the Simon Brothers and Murder She, Wrote gal though. And Higgins was a Texan who affected the British bent for his role.
