Like I said, you're so far gone that even if you are presented with evidence that what you believe is 180 degrees wrong you'll still see Nazis under your bed. You know that there are real Nazis active in Ukraine and that doesn't bother you.

A mixed bag. Key is when the population is homogeneous and share values. They use mercantilism and/or natural resources to support home populations. But, at same time, can use religion or cultural norms so that nobody 'too great' or, at least, we can all 'see each other.'

Hats, ball cpas, there is the obvious. Keep sun outta eyes but still able to see eyes on others. The rest is beyond me. Gimme caps but the straight bills and such. I'm against. And folks should take off hats inside. Shoes n boots also.

And they never, really, tried. And he still fled! Amazingly. Merchants and, dreaded, incorporations (VOC) made Dutch rich but they still had values, of sorts. The Norskies had religion n small population then the poor guys got Hydrocarbons! Rich! So can take care of all, but still come problems with riches n loss of churching. Last I heard the Scots were trying to figure out how they managed to extract roughly the same amount of North Sea oil as the Norwegians but are still poor.  I thought Scots were supposed to be tight with a groat 🤷

How it works is their governments actually by and large work for the electorate. Not pandering to big lobbyists who they change laws to cater for (such as the US subsidising the oil companies for the last few decades): Norway for instance when oil was discovered in the North Sea drew up legislation that ensured each citizen took a cut of profits. Still like that today. University is free in Norway, for anyone..Norwegian or not. Finland has been voted the happiest country to live in for the last few years. All the countries I mention have to a lesser or greater degree 'socialised medicine'. Life expectancy is far higher than US and the 500000 people in the US who go bankrupt because of medical bills is unheard of there.
