I missed all the kiddie porn drama but can't say I'm surprised.  I guess he needed the Accutron to know when it was time to download the latest kiddie porn.  The less I know about "personalities" the better.

Yeah. Some weird Art stuff out there when he was on SW, lawsuits, and just random comments on the air. And all the dramas. Better left alone. I also still wonder about whatever operation to bring back kids from Nam. Could never really figure out details aside from the casual mentions which I thought he maybe just cribbed from a Chuck Norris movie that also had some theme of rescuing children of vets in Nam, or something.

Asuka Langley

Quote from: albrecht on August 09, 2022, 04:20:42 PMThat was really weird and creepy. I recall at time that maybe it was going with how easy it might be to plant material on someone, or jurisdictional issues, but then he kept digging his hole deeper and about went on about how it should be legal. Strange stuff.

I have heard this discussed before because if you just click on a link that loads CP you have downloaded it. Downloading CP can be unintentional and it dont matter in the eyes of the law. If it's in your browser history your fucked. If you go to /b/ your taking a risk of it ending up in your browser history even tho it's specifically banned. These instances could be what Hoagie was referring to.

I don't know all the /b/ stuff but that is what I initially thought when he started on the subject. But then he kept digging and pivoted away from the point of accidental or even 'planting' but defending it which got weird and creepy.

SaucyRossy... wow, that sure brings back a rush of memories. What a circus.

Circus Maximus. Which wiki citation seems appropriate: "colourful crowded disreputable area frequented by "prostitutes, jugglers, fortune tellers and low-class performing artists."

Hoagland's remarks were in defense of a federal employee or contractor that was arrested in a rather significant manner when a Blackhawk helicopter moved in with a team to the Sunspot Solar Observatory in September, 2018. Maybe it was too close to home. Downloaded using a government network onto a government computer if I remember correctly.

There were plenty of stories back then but looks like they scrubbed them from us news sites. But this is the incident

I guess it was supposedly the janitor using the facility's wifi

I think RCH and Clyde were trying to speculate about the so-called 'real' reason for the raid and shutdown when RCH started on about his porn views. At the time it was a golden opportunity for frantic, wild speculation because of the location and it seemed like overkill for the alleged crime and details were scant but RCH seemed to creepily want to expand into his views on porn.

RCH actually had shows. But whatever wacky expert he was going to be on the show Saturday bailed and unable to be contacted so RCH says we will be doing open lines all night. In RCH tradition the show started with internal talking. Then intro played. Then it was RCH echoing himself with someone in the back everyso yelling 'dammit' 'nothing works' and the echoing kept on until around 7 minutes. RCH also mentioned that was trying to get MyPillow guy to sponsor but he never did. But now that RCH knows his  political views he probably would've send 'no.' (Yeah, right!)
RCH apparently had a show on Sunday also. That is two nights in a row! That has happened in a long time by my recollection.

Yeah Hoagie never even called his Sat guest back to confirm the day before or earlier the same day.  He only talked to him on the phone overseas a week before when Hoagie said he had a migraine so had to cancel the show and rescheduled for this weekend - but the guest mixed up the date.  Why not give guests a reminder call or email/message like I get for a doctor appt the day before or something?

Without a guest on Sat night, Hoagie took some open lines for a couple hours but ended up getting into his ultra-liberal left wing rants.  In the last hour at least Robert Morningsky called in kinda as a substitute guest and with his more right wing views helped balance it out. The only thing Robert claimed Trump didn't do right was his failure to release all the classified JFK documents.

Hoagie rarely gets 2 live shows per weekend now, since his area is often getting wind storms knocking out his internet or power, or else he gets one of his migraines or similar.

On the Sunday show RCH still bitched about the guest 'sleeping through and missing' the previous night. As if RCH even makes his OWN shows, or has a show, so often! But yeah any decent producer or booker (or if doing solo oneself) would double-check: 'we're still on tonight at X o'clock.' It would be easy to automate an email or voice-call update. But that is not in RCH's model.

albrecht

RCH called this. He said it wasn't going to launch due to whatever symbologies, torsion deal with his model. And they need to wait for a certain date to be in line with the model. Or something.

Juan

8+2=10=1+8=9+2=11=2+0=2+2=4+2=6
1+9=10=1+5=6

So, it's clear this was not the launch date.  Maybe Glynis told him.

Dr. MD MD

Landing a man on the moon for the first time is going to be exciting, no?

Will there be a show? The archive spun up one of the old ones and vintage RCH. Now with Artemis not working RCH 'models' will be in hyper-demensional hyper drives and DEMAND some memos and an audio imaging panel!

Artemis Part 1 was vintage RCH - Project CORONA. Artemis Part 2 is scheduled to have the panel next week. BTW what was that assassination attempt some 27 years ago all about?

And 19.5...you neglected 19.5!!! How??

albrecht

Been not having shows recently. Nothing new but I'm amazed he still has a platform and the synchophants and, apparently, subscribers to a show that usually doesn't happen more than happens! There are always excuses, of course, generally blackouts, highwinds, fires, health, nebulous internet 'problems,' mistakes made in guests on timing, and on and on and on. In a way funny. I'm waiting for 'dog ate my homework,' except I think that dog died in some odd situation where he was trying to transport the dog back home from FLA some years ago and needed funds.

albrecht

RCH had shows! He must be exhausted. Two nights in a row! Not sure what the heck was talked about. A lot of drawings, "renderings," rotations, filtering ("not understood by non-experts") and fitting a "model." "We are raising spectre of nuclear war to ignore the politics up there!" Secret codes even! "Distinctions without a difference." General Armageddon was just appointed by Putin! This was fallowed by disputed claims by expert guests and angry RCH.

paladin1991

I rememember when Hoagy talked shit about his audience being "useless eaters" because the numbers listening did not translate into subscriptions.

Fuck Hoagy.

I dialed up every 'puter in the house, all the phones, to eat up bandwidth that he was constantly moaning about.

Fuck Hoagy.

RCH had a show. Cosmic baseball. Hyperdimensionals of baseball. # of threads in ball. Astros=NASA n secret space program vs Phillies (birth of the Republic.) Tai-Chi also involved. And made radio big. 19.5.

Did he find a connection between last night's No-Hitter and 19.5?

I imagine he would have to include the innings (as they can be counted by halves) to arrive at that astonishing result, heh.

I gotta say, those first weeks of OSOM were magical. You gotta admire a man who can transmute piss poor nasa photoshops into alien wonders, and build an entire life around it. A comfortable one too.

Admire in a way one admires a conman or grifter. Admittedly morally wrong but impressive in technique. Not sure how good he is living. Often mentions vermin in house. Then again Art did that also (though he had cats, so why mice.) RCH takes claims to next level. The mice actually move things and even have moved objects into mini  'arcologies' and 'important' patterns, which confirm to 'the model.' They also, maybe it was Whitley, are used to communicate from deceased wife/paramours.

Some guest Morningsky or Morningstar, I always confuse them, claimed he tried out for Yankees. Went into some history of bb. RCH kept trying the 'model' and 'torsion' stuff. Of course. Also Doubleday didn't invent but based an ancient Mayan games, so "like NASA"! Hiding patterns, torsions, and symbology "in plain site." Or something
