Two types of people I have no use for: People who shoot elephants and people who encourage the chemical or surgical butchering of impressionable, immature, inexperienced children who've been brainwashed into believing their gender is incorrectly "assigned."

I follow a Twitter account called Gays Against Groomers, and some of the propaganda/brainwashing material they expose, all directed at children, really depresses the fuck out of me.  I'm on the brink of unfollowing them because some of the material they highlight is so enraging that it's probably not mentally beneficial for me to know it exists.

I get the impression that a percentage (not all, you simpleton) of transgendered people are miserable.  Absolutely fucking miserable.  They hate themselves, are uncomfortable in their own skin, and they want company in their misery.  What better group to shepherd into your den of misery and self loathing than children?  They're accessible through school with no parental interference, they're easily molded, and with just a little time they can be made to see normality in almost any circumstance. 

In the gender identity movement, like almost any political movement, the most miserable among them are the most vocal and politically active.  Take a look at some of the videos tweeted by Gays Against Groomers featuring activists pretending to be "teachers."  It's bad.

There is good and bad in every place you can live, but when I see what some school districts are indoctrinating children to believe, it makes me happy to live in backward, unevolved, unenlightened Missouri where things are perpetually ten or twenty years behind the times.

You are indeed behind the times!  Trans is out; Non-Binary is in.  It seems to me that you are operating under the mistaken assumption that there is a sort of unified "gender identity movement" when there are a whole lot of competing ones.  Here, you have managed to object to two that are diametrically opposed.

The pronoun silliness comes from Non-Binary, which makes sense if you think about it for a minute.  It was started in reaction to the physical-deterministic ideology of Trans, where your junk needs to match your gender identity.  Trans people are happy if they can pass so you naturally call them by the opposite pronouns.

I think in a decade or so we will view gender-reassignment as barbaric as lobotomies and the children subjected to it as victims, so until then I will happily they and them and not grouse when bearded ladies win Eurovision or Harry Styles wears a dress.  Bending is fine and has a long, long history; breaking is not.

This is the country I live in. There is a group of (used to be 8- but I think they may now have more) people at Alberta Health whose job description is "inclusivity." These are the people who worry about trans, gay, black, native and any other minority feeling comfortable in our health care system.

While we pay these individuals around a million a year (plus all of the costs of their programs and travel and benefits) our actual health care system is falling apart with emergency rooms in some cities closing on the weekend for lack of staff.

But at least there is a poster for when they are open again on Monday as well as buttons that people can now order to inform me of preferred pronouns.

No I think we used all the colors up now, first we stole the rainbow and now all the other colors, too    maybe you can have just kind of a plain gray or brown, I will check with my people
