Ugh he is such a loser, probably flipped on the telly and drug out his Princess Dianer memorial teacups with the ghastly floating head and sipped gin and Dubonnet while dribbling Coronation Chicken out of a Sainsbury's deli tub down his dressing gown.

My mom made me watch that, I have never seen such a pointless spectacle.  First they all march down a road to a parking lot, spend a good hour marching back and forth and hollering at each other, and then they march back, parading and cheering at an empty coach since HM couldn't be bothered any more with the silliness and was probably taking a nap.

I think he might be my new boss at work. :o  My good ole boy, NC native boss just snapped like a twig last week and decided to retire effective the end of July. I guess 43 years was enough. So my new guy is a limey from just outside of London. Snarky son of a gun that as near as I can recall sounds like S.V. did from the Gabcast. Lots of Brits live outside of London, are snarky and sound like S.V. but what threw me was that he said he had a great friend in the Bay Area that was originally from Pittsburgh.

Coincidence? I think not......

Ha!  Gee, I wonder who his "great friend" could be? ;)  You poor bastard.

Pud for sure. I met LauraKinch for lunch one day back in 2019 I think and the Limey bastard refused to join us just because I called him a Limey bastard.

Shredni is an international treasure! No one can dole out insults as eloquently as that knob.

I'll consider letting him out of the basement, but he needs to quote me certain poetry first.

Ha! Maybe Pud just really likes gravity.  He might have been concerned he was going to float away into oblivion from all of his hot air.

Well that's nice. The queen always makes sure there's always at least one of her subjects here at all times. Welcome back, Bob. Your posts are above average.
Nice to see you two too, Walks and Roy. Now, where is our plague patient WOTR?

Did he really refuse?  Surely there must have been some other reason.

He might have had another reason but Laura told me he was pissed and said "Why would I want to go eat lunch with someone that called me a Limey Bastard?"  She took off work and picked me up at my motel and we had a nice lunch in Sacramento. She's a hoot. I enjoyed meeting up with her. I lost contact with her. I hope they are doing well.

I wonder if he ever tried getting his drivers license. He was still afraid to try driving on our side of the road when I met up with her. She worked at the dmv. She could have helped him pass the damn test.

That's really surprising.  I wouldn't think something miniscule like that would stop him, particularly with his wife deciding to go.

It was probably August, 2018. I was on my way to go hang out with Aldous. Took a redeye to Sacramento and got a motel room before heading uphill to spend some quality time on the Porch of Infamy™️

What is the Porch of Infamy?  Despite the "™️" giving me a good gut laugh, I don't know what it is.  Did you visit the cuckshed?

I did not visit the cuckshed. Aldous lives in California. I won't dox him but he's closer to the picnic tables at Donner's Pass than he is to Pahrump. I've been to Pahrump about a half dozen times but never visited the cuckshed. I did try to arrange a meetup with Art back in the day as a fellow USAF veteran but he wasn't interested.

The Porch of Infamy™️ is a powerful place. I'm not sure if it sits on the intersection of lay lines or what but magical things have happened there. I was saddened when Aldous had to relocate some time back. I'll always have fond memories of the porch.

We met for the first time there in late winter of 2018 and I made 3 or 4 pilgrimages out there before he moved. I haven't been to his new place yet. The last few years our tag ups have been in Arizona.

Who's idea was it to put a picnic area at Donner Pass anyway?  A little late if you ask me.

Wassup, Ros! I'm happy to see so many familiar names back here to toy with Lee once again. Of course, some of us have been hanging on the other site but I don't recall seeing WOTR anywhere recently.

WOTR is busy. He's been leading a phalanx of lumberjack freedom fighters while leading the charge on his unicycle as he fights Trudeau's vax tyranny.

I believe he is in charge of the blow-up hot tubs and bouncy castles.
