Maybe I will move to Florida. Seems to be one of the few places left with a sane leader. I honestly think that they are feeling the pressure to lock down because they are proving how futile it was in California. When a much older population fares better in an open society than the other states, it starts showing problems in the reasoning for lock-downs and shut downs...

That is part of the reason. But in one of the videos you posted here, he actually said that fully half of his content is not on youtube anymore. He is posting at least half of it exclusively on another platform. I actually thought that was cool- to act on your convictions and refuse to allow youtube cash in on your content before the boot you...

My only problem with these alt sites is how do you share vids there? On YouTube I just cut and paste the address. Not so with these other sites. I really don’t understand why the others can’t make it easy too?

There is no gas at the stations around here. It reminds me of some jokes from the old Soviet Union, I forget how it goes but essential joke is "don't worry about the price because not only can you not afford it but there is none of it to buy even if you could."
ps: I know, this time, it was due to trucks not being able to get through the storm and people stockpiling and filling up tanks before the storms but soon, with the Green New Deal, we might face  the Soviet situation. Thankfully not. Knock on wood, I'm still double-checking stuff as we warm up. But I wrapped pipes/hosebibs, dripped water, and then when no water was to be had shut off main and water heaters, and drained system. And then slowly releasing water back into the system once water back 'on' and pressure was ok and checking Still not optimal. I think people in apartments and condos were screwed because they can't control anything, so if the super or mgmt didn't do right than screwed. And due to zoning the fire protection systems likely can't be 'turned off' or drained so if no heat or circulations for days and not insulated and so burst and - water time!

Even less control there and who knows who your 'neighbors' are if the shit really hits the fan and what is happening to your property once you fled.

Having a supplies on hand also helps. No last minute frantically searching HEB or places for sardines, Hamm's, or water.
