Depending on outcome, all publicity is good publicity to repeat a trite phrase. This got him elected before. Not sure why the Dems haven't figured this out. But it also could be damage control to take attention away from the 'laptop from hell' and the Clinton/Huma/Maids but it just bring back funny memories about when Clinton minion 'accidentally' found papers on his person from the archives or when some mysterious ghost/entity caused FBI files to 'appear.'

Sandy Berger got a fine and probation, the archive stuff is definitely prosecutable.  Without knowing what he was holding it is all speculation but seems clear the idea that Trump is entitled to some deference -- a position argued by moderate institutionalists on both sides -- is dead.

My favorite theory is that Trump was holding info on JFK, aliens, etc. as insurance in case they tried to send him to the pokey, hopefully he made backups and didn't just panic and flush down the shitter or eat them.
