Not asking any personal details but I see that the Dems are trying to pushi through some kind of "extra checks" for people with children. I assume this with be retro-active, to satisfy NARAL base? Haven't received the second stimulus check yet, and I suspect I'm not going to, for some unknown reason. The IRS website says it doesn't know why.

I have collected as much as I am going to from this pandemic. Which means nothing. But like a good Canadian socialist, I am happy to contribute so that those in their teens can retire on UBI.

*Don't get me wrong- when the government forces you to shut down, they can pay employees. But I know a ton of (mostly) young people making more now than they did when they worked and a number who have told their boss that they are not going back (and they don't.)

Same thing here. Got the first one in reasonable enough time but still nada on the second. I suppose I'll wake up tomorrow morning, eat a can of Alpo and check the ole bank account to find it still isn't there. Oh well, Such is life.
