But it is still "disinformation" that could easily be considered dangerous.

You appear to be concerned that too many people can now spread disinformation and want it put back into the hands of the elite few once again to tell us what is and is not allowed (like the new governmental office that they are proposing in Canada.) Thanks, but no thanks. Abe Lincoln didn't shut down the printing presses that claimed that he was a warmonger and his actions hurting the slaves. He didn't tell the papers what to print and demand that they stop what he deemed " disinformation." And that was during an actual revolution.

Here you and others are wanting to tell me (and the entire world) what ideas they can and cannot be exposed to because it may lead to "wrongthink."

TL;DR- I think your conclusion that it may be impossible is correct. Where we differ is that I don't find it to be desirable...
I don't know the "measure" of "happy," though some famous people have attempted. I think there was, or could be, claims, if a simply a measure of security etc that slaves could be afforded might meet Maslow's lower orders of things and better than some others at the time, like leased prisoners etc. We all know how a rental mule, or car, is treated versus one that you own.

I think this is the same group that recently aired a rather disturbingly worded PSA on one of my local radio stations that I first heard last week sometime.

One of those 503(1)(b) {501(3)(c)???n/s???} non-profit outfits.  The one I am currently focused on like a Laser is "NewsLiteracy.org" (I think that is who claimed responsibility for the PSA I have heard at least twice, but still have not found audio evidence of on the 'tubes).

Seems like theythe hobo elite have embraced this "Fake Noose" concept and are amping up their efforts in that arena...

For decades it has been mainstream taught that truth is relative, there is no truth, one must consider situations in which decisions about truth are made, and so on. Even that logic is fuzzy, And now all the quantum stuff. Some surprises, except that now they want to corral and eliminate even the idea of searching, or arguing, for truth or even untruths or the haze between them- lest one offends. And accept that "science is settled" and whatever the approved media/government/corporate talking-person says is true.

I watched a bunch of them work on a neighbor's trees. Amazing skills and stuff. I still refused offer for mine because unsure of disease (oak wilt) and suspect citizenships (less so about that) but amazing how they can sling around on ropes and with chain-saws even! But also amazing work with normal pole saws from a hanging-rig at some times. I noted also that there was a hierarchy, when it came to hauling, more dangerous limbs, etc. 

Let's hope the illegals don't get to work on Yggdrasil.

It is fun work though.  The best part is when you take one down in a sketchy situation (nearby fences, power lines, roofs, houses, high traffic roads etc), a crap-ton of moving lines around & prep, but when you make that final cut at the base of the trunk and lay it down right where you want it to go is fun...

I worked with another guy doing that for awhile, fun stuff.  We would use little utility marking flags to place "bets" on where the top of the big ones would fall...  He usually won if it was in an open field where it didn't matter (he made the cuts and could aim).

Good times, full of the occasional adrenaline rush.  I think we only had one "incident" where an errant limb brushed a gutter and put a small dent in it, homeowner didn't care.  Heh.

It is. I know someone who broke BOTH ankles! after a bad cut and subsequent ladder issue. Ha. We gave him shit for a long time, once recovered and well. It is like cleaning your own gutters and other 'high work' as you get older, or if you enjoy beverages. I recall a neighbor asking me to 'hold the ladder' and he went up 3 stories. We had previously been drinking beers all day. He remembered he wanted to check on the racoon situation hole he fixed. His wife came out and said "I can't watch this."  But, as often happens, kids stopped their antics to come watch. It was fine. Unlike the hornet episode.

Get the hell out of my head. I was thinking about the first sentence in your post. For years truth was relative... If you didn't like what was being broadcast or in a movie, you should turn it off and not impose your morals / standards on those who wanted to see them.

Now the truth is concrete (whatever the fact checker and CNN tells me it is) and I should not question it. And nobody should have to ignore my unpopular opinions or politically incorrect entertainment. It should just be banned because while I was encouraged to just change the channel, others cannot do so.

We were drinking in the cul-de-sac as wont to do and neighbor had discovered a hornet nest while mowing earlier. Got stung a few times. From what we could figure it was buried or in a drainage pipe in his garden bed. Any how any approach stirred them up. We kept trying to spray, then  tried other ideas, one would use a long pole from pool to dig and others would lob cans of bombs like a grenade into the hole. And spray the insects flying around. We made make-shift head coverings and facial protection. After a while wives and children gathered to watch drunken men fight with insects. They were tough. We had to regroup, grab some more beers, and compared swollen hands or other stings. At one point there was an intervention by a wife when talk got to be about fires or roadflarres. "You aren't lighting a fucking fire in the flowerbed next to the house," or something along those lines. Eventually even the children got bored with watching grown men approach a nest, attempt something, and run away like crazy from hornets getting stung in the process. Finally we poured diesel into the hole and it got dark and I guess worked.

Truth is concrete, but officially they still don't know how to make opus caementicium. Or so I hear. Like Greek Fire. isn't that interesting or a metaphor or dialectic or something? Some say they know but I hear others still say it is a mystery. In Iceland etc they would mix horsehair and blood into the cement and be stronger against the elements. I saw some crazy deal once where someone was using a generator to 'clean' rebar in a bridge, encased in concrete. Once had a leak and it was a bad build design behind my washing machine. Dissimilar metals. Basically, diversity is not strength.
