I don't know if it's inherited, but I've had episodes of deja-vu throughout my life; my earliest memory I'd be about 6, 7 years old. Out for a drive in dad's car and I looked out of the window and told him what was coming up in a couple of miles.."I can't see you doing that, we've never been here before" said my dad..

Sure enough; I'd described a little village and country house two miles back! I have no idea how or why I would know that..These days, I can look at my phone, and think of a name, and they'll call me as I'm looking at the display. Or (and this is spooky, and no I have no idea how) I can occasionally describe the room someone is sitting in...via messenger or telephone usually..having never met them, let alone been to their home.  :o

I'm glad somebody brought this up. My favorite is the smallpox blanket story. The idea that white settlers plotted to give Indians smallpox blankets has been debunked. Indians certainly suffered and died from white man's diseases, but not through deliberate transmission, though George cites it.

The other one also has to do with disease. The notorious Tuskeegee syphilis experiments were with people who already had syphilis. This was certainly was bad enough, but George and others seem to believe doctors GAVE them syphilis in a Mengele like fashion.

George also said  he's "really learned to appreciate" Bob Dylan.  Can we appreciate him beyond "Blowing in the Wind" ?

Quote from: zeebo on February 05, 2013, 09:28:07 PM
Now that he's familiar w/ that one and "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" he must be a real Dylan expert.  I think Dylan's got a few other good songs but I'm not sure so I'll just wait for George to teach me with his creative bumper music choices.

Didn't realize there were so many female pilots.

And they all have sexy voices. Or is that just because I'm envisioning them in their hot-pressed pilot uniforms?

Flattered! Respect. Yeah, I always knew you were there. You carry an unmistakable odor that you leave along with every last one of your posts--it's a bit like a wild, wet and wooly sheep-killing sheepdog, pungent but kinda badass in its total earthiness, combined with all that Mother Earth offers, hidden in the background.

And, shit.

We got trouble here in River City.  Trouble I say... it starts with a "T", that rhymes with "C" .. that stands for Climate Change.

A caller mentioned last night that there was a John Wayne/John Ford movie with a UFO in it.  I looked it up and the movie is Rio Grande. I happen to have the Blu-ray of it and I watched the whole thing.  The UFO is in there alright at the 1:14 mark hovering over Wayne's right shoulder while he's talking to Maureen O'Hara.  Reliable sources, that were on the set, say that absolutely none of it was shot on a soundstage.  It was all shot on location in Moab, Utah.  It's not a light reflecting from the camera as the UFO clearly goes behind some branches and comes back out.  So whatever it is, its quite distant.  Not car headlights either as the ufo is cleary seen against the sky,and is not just a light.  It Is not a plane either. I can't explain it.

I recently read something about Fr. Malachi I thought was interesting.  I believe it was in the third of Peter Levenda's trilogy "Sinister Forces" where a paragraph or two mentions some of his connections to intelligence agents or agencies.  Sorry for the weak info but I already returned the book to the library.

People that don't signal before they turn.
People that, after 20+ years of living in The U.S., still don't speak English.
People that act all shocked and caught off gaurd when at asked to pay at the checkout counter then proceed to slowly dig through their blackhole of a purse while the line is 10 or so people deep.
People who don't cover their mouths when they cough.
Hypocrits.

When I see a Fort Rock post, it is just so over-the-top, I admit I think it is funny.
Not so much the post, but more so the immediate response from people that are just outraged at his rantings.
And the goofy picture looking back with no shame. I admit, the absurdity of the whole thing I find entertaining.
I don't block any body. Too much fun. At least he likes Art Bell so in his own, strange way, he is okay.

I quit my job a week ago to go to school full time.  It was a decent sales job and I worked from home but I grew to hate it.  I hope there is something good for me out there when this is over.

I've been trying to find a way to work from home for years and haven't been able to.

This guy had one and quits it.

I could just scream !

Good luck to you.

I quit working after I got robbed at gunpoint at work for the 3rd time, then I got sick and couldn't work anymore.

I miss the money but I don't miss working for other people.
