But wait.  Land owner.  Is that a person who owns their land outright?  Or does it include those who are partnered up with a lending institution as in 'mortgage?'

And bonus question:  If you are required to pay taxes on that property or forfeit it....do you really own it?

And if you own property in Illinois, you must forfeit all your votes and give free hand jobs to Jackstar.  On demand.

No mortgages or loans. Not in Illinois. And yes I own them, lol not that two of them are what anyone would call desirable. Yes, taxes are part of the responsibility of ownership. It isn't a secret, hidden from view, then sprung upon the neophyte buyer. Same damn thing with kids, it is a heck of a lot of fun making them, but afterwards...

Now THAT is wishful thinking.  He's polling between 35%- 40% as it is now.

I won't shy away from not wanting any part of Trump as president. But I do think 538 gets it right a good deal more often than not.

I'm of the opinion that he is going to lose but he has a better chance than he did yesterday.

If the election were today, he wouldn't get 20%

I was picking at you about your old iPhone. I'm sure you have moved on. What choice did you have? Don't tell me you are one of "those people." You know the type, right? One who gets easily offended. When your pussy is suddenly grabbed. Its just a little non-consensual pussy grabbing. Whats the problem? Right? Maybe counseling will help. ;)

Honestly if you think I really give a damn about the number, or brand of devices anyone owns, including Falkie. Well... I'm not sure how much clearer I can make myself here. See below:

I think the first iphone I had was a 5. before that I had an android, droid something that lance henriksen did a voice over for. I hated it. It didn't have a pussy, funny thing is none of em do.

I'd be interested in your opinion, onan.  Seriously.  Yes, you are to the left of me but I find your analysis thoughtful and not full of spin like certain other posters on this forum.

As much as I am an atheist, I think it will have to be a spiritual movement to change the underpinnings of the problems that plague cities like Chicago. And there is no one answer to change what is Chicago.

As an aside there are plenty of liberal/democratic cities that are doing very well. So, in my opinion this problem is more than political. And honestly, to suggest politics is the root cause is just way too reductive.

I can't for the life of me think of a reason why inner city minorities should continue to vote for Democratic candidates.  Their situation in the cities has not improved in the 50 years that Democrats have been controlling the cities.  I know if I was a minority, I'd be looking for change and Trump would be an attractive alternative this election year.

Get off the plantation, folks.
Maybe continue to think about that question but look for answers in a slightly different direction.

How well was your pre-iPhone 5 working? You know the one, talked about it on the GabCast, work contacts and important job related programs would randomly disappear. I'd say you were due a good cell phone. I'm glad you have a properly working device. Life is hard enough without crappy cell phones.

Whos fighting? Other than yourself, who brought up Android?

Wait, soothing Apple owners with Apple marketing hype isn't of comfort? Why not? Most believe they are buying an elite product, that is simple, and just works. Part of a select group who think differently. Convinced if they spend more than twice the price on old hardware in a pretty wrapper, it will escalate their status and lifestyle. Sorry if me making jest at the emperor wearing no clothes makes you uncomfortable.

However if you want to remove marketspeak, and gods and devils magic from cell phones... Yes, they are all crap. Crap so bad that they need complete updates often, which breaks as much as it fixes. Then every few years you have replace your old piece of crap, with a new piece of crap. Struggling to keep pace with maturing OSes and software. Most immature technology is crappy, even when its bleeding edge technology of the day.

Remember how personal computers, both Mac and PC became obsolete every few years? Crap. Today you can use a desktop machine for many years without any growing pains. Desktop sales are down because of that little fact. The technology sector, seeking to make evermore profits have focused on hyping Mobile Device markets. Because they can sell people new crappy devices every year or two, instead of five or more years. Weak computing devices incrementally upgraded, with built in obsolesce. Seeking maximum profits. Bleeding edge, more like bleeding my wallet.

Oh for fuck sakes, lighten up frodo. I was snarking. fuck if anyone should get snark it is you. unless your post was snark then never mind.

I have moved on I have an iphone6+s. matches up with my apple watch.

Might get the 7 then again might wait for the 8.

There is no credible evidence Hillary Clinton ever silenced anyone over this, Trumptard shill.

Whether alleged claims of Hillary Clinton silencing anybody is worse than Trump sexually assaulted women, which he admitted to, is a matter of debate.

I have been a bit lazy over the people claiming sexual predation from Bill. So I did a bit of reading over the last few hours. Mostly about Juanita Broaddrick's claim of rape. I think the claim of Hillary threatening her is false. When specifically asked if she had been threatened or intimidated to remain silent. Her response was no. A few month's later drudge reported Broaddrick stated:
QuoteHillary caught me and took my hand and said 'I am so happy to meet you. I want you to know that we appreciate everything you do for Bill.
Which is now, somehow, supposed to be a threat.

What is apparent to me is that if I were to make claim I had been forced to have a cigar with Bill, I too would be in a press conference with Trump.

I'm for it. The thing is, the vast majority of politicians are professional bullshit artists. That's literally what that job is. The better the bullshit artist, the more electable they are. We're conditioned to see that as normal, but it's not. And what we're seeing now is the cracks in that former façade system beginning to form. This will eventually serve to force out riff-raff like the Clintons and Trump and bring in people that actually have respectable pasts that stand up to scrutiny. Transparency brings honesty.

Because it's foolish misguided multicultural nonsense. There are cultures in this world that are profoundly misguided, archaic, and incompatible with modern western civilization. Letting them in, along with their cultural problems, is irreversible and not conducive to a safe and nurturing environment for anyone. Until we establish a one world culture borders are very good things for all. Once everyone is on the same page, which is happening slowly but surely, then we can talk about erasing borders. But as it stands now, it's just stupidity.

I'm not, those people are the truly stupid. That  does explain Trump's followers though. Transparency brings many things and not always honesty.

Yeah, but dreams and ideology lead to policy.

As they should. Look you and I are lucky to have what we have. Many here have done nothing to have the things they do, except be born here. Oh and do everything they can to prevent others from those things.

Given that the only reason she holds it is because she knows that such immigration would ultimately lead to a one-party system, I find it scary as hell. One party systems are bad. The Democratic Party needs to start behaving ethically and stop thinking about importing voting blocs and start listening to women like this:

I wish if you are going to suggest democrats need to improve their ethics you would at least accept republicans are ethically challenged as well.

See, that's the thing. The ugliness on the Clinton side is pretty bad. What they get isn't entirely undeserved though I do agree some of it was over the top.

The position is that polished, controlled, presented fronts that conceal ugliness no longer cut the mustard with a lot of people. If any one of the other Republican political candidates had gone off the cuff and spoke like normal humans speak, Trump would have went nowhere. They did not, they kept up the cardboard cut out polish and it hurt them. Get ready for it, the age of reality politics has arrived for better or worse.

I am not for jerry springer politics. But let's be fair, some topics are quite complicated and that turns many off and in response they turn to talking heads that are more interested in their agenda then the true issue at hand.

For instance the wikileaks drop of Hillary's "dream of open borders and..." I do not find that in any way damning. What is wrong with everyone having a safe and nurturing environment? After all it is a dream that should inspire working for the good of all.

Instead, the message seems to be if we do this then all hell will break lose. When no policy is mentioned in the dream statement... not one policy mentioned.

Thanks for the response. What an ugly story. Having worked with many rape victims, the story has many points similar to other rape stories. I will not be the guy to refute this one. Nor will I attempt a comparison to Trump.

All that being said, here we are. Simply put, Hillary or Donald, which? Lucky us. Your side has spent years and millions of dollars on what in all honesty has become a cottage industry of hate for the Clintons. It obviously has worked well.

The position seems to be it would be better to have a disinhibited, poorly controlled, arrogant, self aggrandized-shoot-from-the-hip non-statesman, who is not liked by most of his peers as the president. It doesn't look like that will happen and I wonder why that is?

This is like watching Republicans trying to justify Bush 2004.

Here is the deal, Bill Clinton won the presidency and right wing zealots could not deal with that fact. Mud, no, shit slinging started and has continued for more than two decades. Most of the shit was delusional at best. But at first it did have some ability to stick. The problem however was that after a while the stench started to accumulate with those throwing it, and now you guys stink bad enough that your credibility only carries weight in the furthest regions of nutsville.

The driver killed Kennedy gets more of an ear than Clinton Cash.

But please continue on, your party is a clown show and that responsibility falls completely at your feet.

My husband took a walk around our neighborhood and did not see a single Trump sign.

Why are Republicans now the party of kooks?  Fringe-thinkers?  Bottom-dwellers?
Trump is obviously a pig.  Cruz is a lunatic.  Rubio is also a religious fanatic, as is Pence.  Is there no one who is normal left in that party?

Not from my point of view. And I think we have Rush, Rove, and Gingrich to thank for that. I find it funny that there is so much "sjw" criticism and yet a complete lack of acknowledgement to the complete breakdown of communication and compromise between parties.

I didn't know about this. I'll have to have a look but I just inherently have come to expect that J.J. Abrams will ruin whatever classic he gets his hands on. The original may be a bit cheesy by today's standards but is still a classic.

It was cheesy when it came out. I am pretty sure it was a Michael Crichton story. The movie had the problem of handling too much background and story effectively. I think watching the original will add little.
