that's all very true.  couldn't agree more, actually.  it's just that you can't have some guy hanging around assigning himself the role of "resident PI."  regardless of whether the victims deserved it or not, it creates a creepy vibe that suggests this could happen to anyone if they should cross him.  this place makes pretty decent money, so i view the forum as a business.  he was very bad for business.  i wouldn't want to join a forum that kept creeps like that around.
i completely agree.  i remember when Hal get banned.  i had been away from coastgab.com for a few days and when i came back there was only the faint whiff of the shit storm that he'd stirred up. i can only imagine how disruptive that mess would've been.  or how freaked out the target would be

sociopath or not i don't know.  the researching of data for fellow gabbies was creepy but to look at it a different way the target learned a valuable lesson: if you troll a forum you need to do a more than slightly adequate job of obscuring your indentity.  lesson learned for both parties.  perhaps

I am not giving Bush credit for being effective, quite the contrary, he is the biggest failure of a president of the last 70+ years, maybe longer. Yet his endeavors are directly responsible for the economic disaster we are in now. From the unfunded war, to the stripping away of the justice department allowing wall street to rape this country. Yes he was powerful... powerful stupid. And how anyone can try to minimize that is either ignorant or deceptive, I doubt both.

Did Obama follow him out the window? in many ways, yes he did.

The only point I was making is that hope and change was what the country needed and still does. that was it.
Couldn't agree more with this ^^^^^

Coast is ready for the trash heap.  they'll keep it around in one form or another as long as they can keep advertisers interested but at some point they'll need to build a newer, shinier, less stinky cash cow

Had to register just to give this a big thumbs up!   Even at almost 90 years of age Rickles
would pound George.

Can you imagine if he lit into Noory over the Pizza Roll?   I'd sign up for Pay per View just to watch
it..........
maybe that's how Gaiam should retool Beyond Belief?  as in ... it's Beyond Belief how bad Noory is.  it would a weekly roast where guests and callers would take turns roasting the fool

I'm tent camping a few hundred yards from the Pacific ocean, having a glass of cabernet, while listening to Jim Harold's Campfire podcast around my campfire.  Sometimes technology is really great.  8)

i can't +1 this enough

i'm pretty damn envious right now.  the paracast is also good.

buying razors at CVS seems like a real mistake.  i buy vitamins at CVS but only when they're buy one get one.  i get my razors at meijer.  stores like CVS aren't good for anything but prescriptions and Dove bars

i'd love to hear Don Rickles take Noory apart.  "Hey Meathead ... I know talking is hard but if you were to get a chimpanzee to turn the pages in your notes for you then you might be able ask a decent question once in a while.  I didn't know hamburger could grow a mustache"

that's the best I got.  but a Don Rickles on a good day would DESTROY Noory

End of the Day : there is very little difference between parties as they both exist to serve the same money. But if you feel compelled to blame the Other Party then go ahead. Nothing I say will stop you

Economy seems to be on the rebound in that it seems to be generating jobs and not incinerating them. If jobs creAted > 150k then rebound

Still Obama is Bush-esque crypto-fascist. He's barely discernible from W

He admitted it.  How many "patriots" run off to China and Russia with classified information?

How many "Patriots" watch their government break the law and turn a blind eye?

You spoke to his intent. As if all along he had a master plan to subvert US interests and run off to some reward in a far away land. I don't think that's the case

the inherit problem with rule of law is that someone has to enforce the law. and if that someone's underlying purpose is to be as big a dick as possible it doesn't matter what the spirit of the law is or what the letter of the law is. and that's why the police are often called pigs

Dear George:

Edward Snowden is now seeking asylum in Russia.  Do you still think he's a hero?   The man purposely sought US security clearance so he could obtain classified information - then ran to China and Russia with it.

Do you think Snowden may share this information (if he hasn't already) with his new best pal, Vladimir Putin?  Is that good for America, George?

What will you tell your tin-foil hat-wearing, double digit IQ, truth-seeking Coast Insider fans tonight?
where's your evidence that Snowden intended to defect with intel? this sounds as likely as Truther and Birther conspiracy theories

when i see the word "huzzah" it makes me want to murder little old ladies... so, yeah, i thought i'd have a little fun with you guys by censoring it.

no, there are no other censored words.

as you were.
i noticed a lot of the nerds i used to work with at my last job would drop a 'huzzah' any time they had a minor triumph writing code.  MV ... is your disgust of 'huzzah' stem from a similar source?  much like your disgust of starting a sentence with 'so .... '?

free storage for referrals is pretty common in that 'industry'
