I bought a SW radio back around 2000 or so, its a good radio, it does AM, FM and SW, the AM radio tuner is great, it pulled in stations i never knew existed.
People dont need radios anymore though, you can get practically any station on the net on a PC or your phone.
Gotta disagree w/ that Barfly. When I'm deep in the sticks where there is no cell reception, I can still pick up Art on the radio.

I can't believe Art agreed to run this ad.
He's probably laughing his ass off every time the commercial runs. You realize he's probably running it just to mess with us. ;) And if he can make some money from it to keep the network up & running, more power to him. Yes, the squatty potty probably belongs on Jorchee's show, but it does make for good jokes.

funny how no one regresses a past life of being a caveman 80,000 years ago
Now that would be cool. I'd want to know how the took down the Dino for Dinner, or if it was just Green leafy substances they ate

Has anyone ever heard about future life progression? That is really interesting to me as well.
Always in motion, the future is...
That would be a Kewl subject though.

I wonder if Barfly enhanced the image to show the reflection better.
Hope so, I could have swore it was Art's reflection I picked up on last night.

Greetings gabrielle :)

I'm here a bit late tonight ;)

Greetings Gabbers !

You wouldn't believe how this show tanked. It literally fell completely apart the very next show after Ross left and it hasn't recovered since.

He was a great guest. But it really shows how awful Scott is as a producer. Hoaxland keeps talking about Rod Roddenberry but credit for that would go to Rossy. Scott has done NOTHING except co-host and creep on Michelle.

If I didn't know any better I'd say Scott was one of us and trying to destroy the show from the inside.
He's probably not smart enough to figure that out. In this case, thank Gawd for dummies.

Well.  The snow storm graced the higher elevations.  But, it was a no-show for my area. >:(

I'm sorry, but no purdy pictures in the "BellGab Gallery." :-[

Any Fellow Gabbers that live in the Midwest, especially NE Texas and Central Oklahoma, need to keep a sharp weather eye out.  Many Storm Chasers are out in the field right now and conditions are a bit dicey to say the least.  At the moment, there are two tornado warnings in Central Oklahoma.  Be aware, be safe.

I am so glad you and Mc_C brought this up in here, instead of out there. With good bacon and fully leaded coffee to sustain us, I think we might be able to do something about that bad attitude that might even be troll-related. No matter, every night it really puts me on edge and I feel really ashamed of myself for not stepping up and saying the stuff that should be said.

Like: Give the show at least five minutes before you hate it. Or, nobody cares if you're not going to listen. Why announce it? Who gains from all the negativity? My biggest pet peeve is assuming everyone is a charlatan, a hoaxer, a boar, an old, a fat, an ugly, or worse. Real credentials are out the window, suddenly.

I know Heather (Redacted) is working long hours to check facts, and soundcheck, and a hundred more things, and since we know how smart she is because she used to post on BellGab all the time ... guess what? The shows are good and the guests are solid. It's obvious Art is relaxed and in control and probably not reading the stupid thread because it will really knock the air out of the good people who enjoy the show.

I'm therefore formally requesting another Bella-Blitz to tilt the balance in the live thread back to normal. We can blame the caffeine. Is it worth a try?
Absolutely. :)
The thread is turning into the GNS thread, and we already have one of those ;). Yes the MITD thread is definitely worth saving. Art has recommended BellGab both on air, and has it linked on his site. What do peeps think, that love Art, and come into the room to check it out, who then see all the bashing and negativity ? Regular peeps, and it's usually close to or better than 100 a night, that see that kind of crap don't want to be part of it, & I don't blame them. The peeps that are doing this regularly are accomplishing Dave's job for him. 2 weeks is long enough. Something needs to change.
I'm still upset about Rossy-Gate, we had a hell of a fun group in the RCH thread, and even the negative ones checked it at the door and allowed themselves to have some fun. We regulated it a bit tighter though.
Yes, we need to do something about this.

Thanks everyone for the goodies!  Wow, vacation this week and lucky me ... with 70 degree weather in Michigan .... we're going for another record today ... yay!!!!  I'm liking the El Nino so far .... (Starr, thats why I wanted you to chat about it ... its so odd that we have this wonderful weather the first week of November!!)

I enjoyed Art's show last night ... it was fun, but I really do enjoy the paranormal -- UFO, MIB, hauntings etc.  ... I am thinking that the peeps who go to the live thread during the show are really just needing therapy and its a good way for them to all vent.  I realize you can't please everyone all the time ... but goodness, to go on and on and on with the negativity and knocking the guest on and on and on, like the biggest bullies in the playground ... yeah, perhaps a bit too much drink and the need to vent their anger -- Group Therapy/Anger Management live thread nightly.

The last two weeks have been really bad in the MITD room. Hopefully the current pall will lift. I like to have fun and enjoy the company of the other peeps here during the show. Recently though the room has been sucking all the life out of, and killing the enjoyment of listening to Art. :(

Magnificent multiple vehicle wreck in the 'Comedy Monologue" aka 'Here's What's Happaneen' last night. He ran the story about the joint study between The Bronx Zoo and Edinburgh University which concluded - surprise, surprise! - that cats are self-interested, neurotic predators working out ways to kill us. In the space of this one short item, he managed to pronounce 'Edinburgh' to rhyme with 'Pittsburgh', 'Scottish' as 'Scottich', 'characteristics' as something like 'characterississ' and 'neurotic' as 'erotic'.
Once again, the image of Mr Magoo behind the wheel, oblivious to the carnage he leaves behind him, comes to mind.

And up here in Canada...we are having plus 20 celsius days...in November..unheard of.   It should be snowing.
Morning everyone. :)
I agree gabrielle. You guys are cracking almost 70 degree F days in Nov ?? Yikes. We're @ 62 F / 17 C right now with 87% humidity and a beautiful 10 mph southern breeze. This is like early summer weather. There was an awesome sunrise this morning and the air smells great. I'm pretty much smack dab on top of the 45 parallel.
I'm a bit late this morning, but I brought in some Pistachio Cherry Biscotti if anyone would like some w/ their coffee. ;)

The Pineal gland is very interesting, there are many people who speak about it. I've had several experiences as a child that when researching, the Pineal gland keeps popping up as a possible source.

but David Wilcock is a fucking lying rodent, who still has a chip on his shoulder from being bullied as a kid. To make himself feel better, he takes money from the simpletons. He tries a Paul Heyman approach of "it's everyone against US, I'm here fighting for you!" but after you listen to an interview or two, he's just a wimpier version of Steven Greer.

please continue to explore this topic, it's fascinating stuff. I would just recommend you pick a different person to follow.
LOL  -  Wilcrock thinks he's the reincarnation of Edgar Cayce. He claims it quite a bit. He's almost as moon Bat crazy as Hoaxy. But yah, you hit it right on the head w/ your description.

dunno why but i really want one
Missed your post before Barfly :(
Yes, totally legal, but one of the dirtiest weapons you can own, fuel gets everywhere, especially the old ones. But they are loads of fun.

I have no idea why anyone would hate the show. This was an instant classic in my book. 8)
I thought it was great. The interviewee believed the story she was telling. Art had fun with it. There were some different details in the story than most along these lines, and we found out at the end that the symbol belonged to a Djinn.
