For my Halloween marathon, I started with the Black Cat (1934, Karloff and Lugosi). I can't believe I have never seen it before. Very enjoyable. The choice for set design was a "modern" stark style instead of a creepy old house or crumbling fortress. And loved the classical music score.

And now I appreciate 21's avatar even more

Chelsea Clinton has always reminded me of this character.  I see a resemblance.  Maybe it's just me.  *DISCLAIMER ~  I'm not trying to start a political discussion.  ;)

A cute and very clever character. Acceptable

I have to peel away from the pack, but it has been a pleasure.

As Richard Sharpe Shaver might say,

So long, and thanks for all the stim!
And don't take any wooden Deros...

(RGG, I left the suitcase full of lettuce in the designated spot.  Watch your hat and coat.  You may want to take a ventilator.)

Glad you didn't have to take the fiery plunge for the Cubs tonight! Have fun on your date tomorrow, but please be back on the atoll by Tuesday just in case.  :D

I'm ready for sacrificial duty, sir

LOL.  I'll try to do that.  He's a real sweet, playful kitty.  He likes to climb up the dogwood trees in our yard.  He comes back down with no problem.  I used to have cats that would go up trees but they would never come down. I'm going to have to keep him locked up tomorrow though with the kids out tomorrow night.  Wouldn't want anything to happen to him.

Good idea, 21

I hated Nirvana back when they were big but I've gotten to really like a lot of their music now.  I'm not sure why I changed but whatever.

You like Classic. Had to wait until they withstood the test of time. And until the lead singer was dead

Love your avatar, TL.   I own a black cat.  Very beautiful cat with kind of greenish yellow eyes.  We got him a year or so ago.  My wife named him Mikey but I would have preferred a scarier name.  We once had a black cat called Boris but he disappeared.

Just think of Mikey as short for Mephistopheles

Do yourself a favour next time you want iced tea.  Take extra strong hot tea, a bit of honey, some ice cubes and a couple of handfuls of frozen, mixed berries and toss them in a blender.  Best "slurpee" that I have ever had...

I have a guava tree. Basically what I do with the guavas

I make iced tea with regular tea and Earl Grey.

True story - I didn't drink coffee in the Air Force. I drank Earl Grey that I bought by the ounce and used a tea strainer. Second week working in the underground at SAC HQ I had two SAC Elite Guards standing at my desk going through my desk drawers. The Major I worked for told them he saw me put a bag of pot into my desk.

Great football today but my eyeballs feel like deflated footballs. And way to go Cubbies!
