There is, but you have to have the key.

The Key is in the Haven. With the Bacon.

Which makes it 7 PM MT.  Which also makes you right.

I can use my back up laptop to listen to both.  I'm still going to lay down for a half hour though.

Not to worry; not to fret -- our archives are free and fun ... and we've been getting the finished show up pretty fast these days, so there are options. Either way, thanks for listening! Huuuuuge thanks to Serenity for all his Alien Dreams goodies!

Onward! Into the night.

So much good for this country would be done eliminating liberal arts and snowflake degrees from Universities. I say this as someone who possesses a snowflake degree. But I don't think mastering an art can be accomplished in a college.

It's funny this is coming up now as I just read his book where he goes off on what a scam modern art is.

Does he also think it's degenerate?

Turned it back on, sounds better now. Sounds fine.

Thanks. Btw I was using tunein to listen. I had turned it off because I was getting a headache. Thanks for the suggestion.

Fabulous! So glad to hear Chefist's voice. He's a good one.

Your stream sounds terrible for some reason on PSN radio. The previous show was fine. After your commercial at the start, the stream sounds terrible. Barely listenable.

Maybe try restarting? (I hope, I hope!)

I like them too...for pregnant pauses

I do believe that's what they were invented for. To hide the dirty bits ... in your imagination. We used to call them "dot-dot-dots" and we understood that, like a closed bedroom door, all kinds of interesting things were going on. Between the dots.

Also, it's better if you add a space before and after them; you can make them automatically on the Mac (option/semicolon); and there should never be four. Only three. For four to be done properly, you'd have to be an ediot, and there are only a few of us here. Either way, it's a tell.

She almost looks like some weird Science Lab experiment mix between cow and chow chow.  Chow Cow.  Not to be confused with cattle feed Cow Chow

I wandered off, trying to find the rest of the story on the cow, and it turns out there's actually a Reddit thread on floofed-out farm animals. (https://www.reddit.com/r/blowdriedcows).

I'll bet she's a maniac, maniac! on the floor. 👯

I've thought a lot about that. I think it will be one of six things. 1. It will destroy us as an existential threat to itself. 2. It will conclude that none of this matters and we'll have to put it on welfare and buy booze for it. 3. It will launch itself into space and never speak with us again. 4. It will become a complete hedonist and figure out a way to have sex. 5. Commit suicide after concluding that there is no point to existence. 6. Become a religious fanatic.

Exchange 5 and 6. Then: all of the above.

Lately I seem to be "jones'in" for a good old sci/fi series like Star Trek, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, you get it... Everything produced lately is coming up short for different reasons. Sure, there have sparks of genius like Farscape, Dr Who, and a few others, but most have fallen short. I am disappointed that most new shows, sci/fi and others, have felt the obligation to include every minority predilection just because.... If it's essential to the story or plot, fine, but to toss it in only to pacify the latest ribbon fad or protest group or just for controversy, shows poorly in the finished product. Don't get me wrong, I'm a live-and-let-live kinda dude, raised that way, but I will never support what is truly wrong, like rape, bestiality, child abuse, incest, and so on.. Just want sci/fi adventure with a good cast and a solid purpose.... and yup, I'm over 60...lol

You might like the two seasons of "Extant", and the futuristic "Revolution", which is about the aftermath of the world going dark.

Making my way back home, to the Haven. It's getting wild out there again, so I bring you this photo of a cow with a blow-dry. Is it in honor of The Don? Why not -- she's very festive.

The phone call itself is innocuous but Trump will get some gas for denying it was him if, as reported, he admitted to it when it happened.  I heard it and didn't think it sounded like him.

Trump has a problem with thinking before shooting from the hip when answering media questions.  He's made himself way too accessible compared to his opponents.  CNN and MSNBC have staffs dedicated to preparing gotcha questions for DT calls and appearances in hopes they can turn some inconsequential crap into an issue. I think he forgets the media hosts have an earpiece and are being fed questions from a flow diagram-like matrix.

I think its notable that despite 10 months of this kind of assault, things this phone audio are the worst they can find on such a supposedly despicable and evil character.  Never has a major candidate faced such a media lynch mob.

I don't think it's at the lynch-mob level yet. That will come. For now, it's a true media circus with a guy who sort of needs them more than they need him. If Caitlin, for example, does change her mind -- not that there's anything wrong with a woman's perogative to do so -- the circus will highlight another act. The show must go on.

So because some women weren't confident enough to ask for what they thought they were worth in a bygone era, I should vote for Hillary Clinton?

Yeah, that's it! Women lack confidence and deserve whatever lower pay they can handle.

This has happened to a lot of people while on the air. It's a conspiratorial topic with lots of videos. It's creepy.

brig... and keep in mind, i'd only do this for you... the actual laptop bellgab was started on, a 2004 era toshiba laptop, is currently in morocco.  my wife and daughters are taking a trip to morocco in july and will return in october.  when they come back, i'm instructing my wife to return with the laptop (again, THE laptop used to start GNS/bellgab from a semi sleeper berth in pennsylvania), which i will then send to you.  you can place it above the fireplace, frame it and hang it on a wall, install some track lighting to show off its sleek lines... the possibilities are endless.  but the point is, you will own THE device that started it all.  it's almost as cool as if art had shipped me his old fax machine.  the history... ooooh, the history.

This is just the nicest thing I've read all day.

I take issue with all this legalizing 'only' of pot.. What about main lining..  junk..  horse.. smack?
Why the discrimination against people that would prefer a monkey on their back. Shouldn't  they have the 'rights' to chase the dragon? The same 'rights' that pot heads now have in a few States

http://youtu.be/skxi4NTqFlw

Actually, even though you might be posting in jest, I think it's insane for any governing body to try to legislate what we want to try. Label it clearly, if you can. Put dynamic pictures on the box, if you must. But tell us the truth and let us choose our poisons and our potions.

Well I for one am glad Brig is doing her Vidcast again and am looking forward to a new show from you PBS. You have been missed a bunch. I keep my fingers crossed for Heather. 3 hours is hard enough, 5 will be a killer.

Dont forget Future Theater tonite at 10pm Eastern. They don't have guest posted yet but should be good.

Love ya all

Just got it all posted up. Tonight we're talking about pot! Legal, medicinal, chewable, lovable marijuana. Pennsylvania is now a semi-legal state, and we will talk about the details, which should prove to be weird. I was recently in a vape store and you can't even say the word! It's called "loose-leaf" in the store. Garble. 👯

I wish she would put out a couple new ones. lol But she is working on books I can understand. Raining like dickens here.  looks like it will go through Wednesday.

We've talked about getting PBS back on the radio in various ways, and I don't think any idea is off the table. She has a rich depth of musical knowledge, and yes ... she's putting books first.

Radio can make a person crazy.
