He started the extrajudicial killings at the beginning of his term. He didn't try anything else as president. He created a life and death witch hunt. No innocent people were killed, right? The continued killings hasn't made a dent in their social problems, only adds to them. His unilateral action incenses the corruption problems, increases the mistrust people have of officials, and increases Filipinos mistrust of each other. Living in fear someone might decree you or a loved-one as a drug dealer/user, to even a score, because they don't like you, or your political views, is certainly a very effective way to quiet down decent, or opponents alike. How healthy can that be for the psyche of society? 

I don't claim to know the minds of all the Philippine people, what they knew, believed, or liked about Rodrigo Duterte. Maybe he was the lesser of all the evils to pick from. Maybe they weren't voting FOR him, but voting AGAINST opposition, like most elections. Thats my best guess.

Duterte didn't take what you think should have been reasonable first action, so therefore he must be correct in his extreme action. Fuck law and order, take whatever action you want, because some officials are corrupt? The whole world has corrupt officials. Following your logic. All the world should throw out laws and justice, and burn it all down, as the strong man sees fit. That is your argument. P*BFacts&Logicâ,,¢

I'm well aware of the Philippines. What they are, and are not. Just because you type something doesn't make it a fact. They have a Constitution, and Legal System, much like our own, some of which is drafted after the USAs. They ether function within the bounds of their laws, or not. It's that simple, no sliding scale due to affluence, or lack thereof. Assuming they shouldn't have basic human rights because they haven't achieved "the level we have" is bordering on myopia, or bigotry.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. These rights apply to all human-beings, without a sliding scale.

No Due Process denied Life and Liberty to thousands killed in the Philippines. Which is in direct opposition to the people of the Philippines laws. Spare the world your sanctimony.

Well if you know more about the law, constitution, and government than all the senate, congress, judges, and lawyers. You need to hurry up and tell all of them they are doing it wrong.

Make sure you shock and awe them, and the world with your "facts and logic." No doubt in my mind, they couldn't refute it's all a fake, fake, fake, Liberal ''Progressive" conspiracy theory. Bring 'em to their knees, bro. Go get em. Burn it all down. I don't fear the outcome, whatever it may be.

Anyone siding with the Democrats on anything has zero understanding of the Constitution, rule of law, separation of powers, or any of the rest of it.

The extrajudicial killings I refer to is his war on drugs. Hes urged the police and vigilantes to kill dealers and users alike. Hundreds if not thousands of men, women, and children have been killed in the streets. Without being arrested, charged, or convicted in a court of law. People claim he did the same when he was a Mayor. Such is Lawless, and out of bounds, where there is Rule of Law. Banana Republic tactics. 

At the moment he is within his bounds of power in Mindanao. I don't have a problem with it. However if their Supreme Court or Congress revokes his declaration of martial law, and he refuses. That is lawless and out of bounds. That I would have a problem with.

No, the burden of proof is always on the person making the claim. That means P*B needs to prove his bloviation is backed by facts and logical arguments, but he never does. He can't. The Constitution was set up in such a way as to prevent any single branch of government from making the USA another shithole banana republic.

Men and women died for what the Constitution stands for. Tipping your hat to Banana Republic leader over his lawless actions, because the ends justifies means. Somewhat degrades the men and women who served, and gave their lives protecting our Constitution and freedoms protected by said document. YMMV.   

If Rule of Law and Due Process isn't being followed... You and your bloviating keyboard commandos need to set all the congressmen, senators, lawyers, and judges straight about the jobs they do everyday. Doing such shouldn't be hard with all the facts and logic your team has on its side. However that would require leaving the keyboard, and doing real work. Instead of trying to score points, and virtue signal strangers on the internet.

I make no arguments for any single ideology. It's truly pathetic and speaks volumes to the simple empty mindedness that you try and attribute to me arguing a Ideology. I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything.

I'll put my money on Sean Spicer. He looks as if he's seriously getting close to going over the edge, especially after literally hiding in the bushes from the press in his eerie deer-in-the-headlights appearance outside the WH in the dark. Evidently, his recent absence from WH briefings were due to "fulfilling his Naval Reserve duty", which he's no doubt thankful for. Still, he has that desperate look of a man searching for a more lengthy escape. I think he'll quit and use his family and Navy commitments as an excuse.
