Do any photos of Richard without facial hair exist?

No, but there is a picture of him with that thing.

i think we need to drop all this religious talk

Oh, now it comes out. There never was any pagan Hoagland sect. You're just an Ahoagtheist.

If Rossy is around I am requesting Richard do a show on Numbers Stations. Can you imagine how amazing that would be?

+1. Message it to Rossy, he's totally down for guest/topic suggestions.

I just tuned in.  Dumped guest.  I gather I didn't miss much?

Art yelled at Quick Karl during the beginning of the show. Other than that, not too much, no.

$50 to the first 'gabber who calls in and asks Art how to "disassemble a quadratic equation".

I heard that and had an immediate WTF? stroke.

As a resident of that fine city, I can confirm that it is. The picture I posted is its most modern iteration.

GREAT city. I love Montreal. Especially the smoked meat.

Twilight Zone and The X-Files are on Netflix. It's brilliant.

Oh man I love that too. I just love putting on a random episode of either and going to sleep to it after Hoagland. I've seen all the episodes of both, but it's like a security blanket.

I prefer used mayo jars.

I think ShayP said that he uses the clothes hamper. I thought that deserved a gold star for creativity.

Not complaining but that top of the hour break doesn't leave must time for a toilet break. Art should advertise Depends.

Now, I would have thought that you of all people would wear depends during the show in order to not have to take a break. I certainly do.

You know, if even one crop circle turned out to be real it would change the world over night. Trouble is, after decades of research none of these groups have given us much.

Apparently the political threads.  Haven't seen any here.

I think most of it was in the Trump thread in politics. I wouldn't recommend anyone go in there though if they value their eyesight. It's almost as bad as the Falkie thread.

HA HA HA HA HA
Who gets to be high priest/preistess

It got complicated really quickly after *ahem* someone suggested that we nuke Florida. The religion has now split into at least four sects, one of which is pagan and worships Hoagseidon. There seems to be no real leadership.

Really!!???? :o

Yes, a Hoagland religion formed up today in the Art Bell thread. Art tried to stop it by creating his own cult, but it proved futile. Hoagslam/Hoaglianity/Hoaglism is spreading like wildfire.

Put your faith in the torsion field.  It's in the data.

Man, do you have a treat awaiting you in the Hoagie thread.

I was not the person who suggested the nuking, just mentioned the issue with the government not allowing proper excavation of the Miami Circle so we can practice Hoaglism and make some important calculations there! The scorched earth policy by some of the more fundamentalists in the Hoaglism movement is disturbing to me- as are also the "reformed" branch; with its modernity and crazy ideas that "glass structures" are archaic sci-fi ideas from the past! Arcologies are, along with with 19.5 and torsion physics obviously, in the model that cannot be eliminated, in my opinion!

Grand Ayatollah ItsOver would weep if he saw you talking like that. And you wonder why we don't embrace Hoaglianity. Nothing gets destroyed. Well, how the hell are you supposed to have arcologies if there are no ruins!?!

We will not be attending the ecumenical council. The last thing we want to do is listen to you and Mild Bill argue about whether the data proceeds from the Hoagland alone or from Hoagland and Laney. What a snorefest that's going to be.

Apparently there was going to be a Council held to try to codify and stop the heresies, and possible schisms, at the Miami Circle but this was stopped by the announcement of 'nuking' Florida by the more fundamentalist branch. It would seem that there will be at present a severe split in Hoaglism over some doctrines and symbology. Besides certain things there is a fundamental quandary if a Bulova wrist-watch can be worn by anybody or only by those chosen behind closed doors in the temple, or at ancient sites. There is hope, however, for reconciliation in that, so far, both major branches (and most of the other splinter groups) still consider 19.5 and torsion fundamental, base doctrine. An Ecumenical Council is in the works to try to bring the disparate groups back together and will be held in NY on Sept 24th.

Well, you've gone soft. You were all for the nuking of Florida. Mild Bill got to you, didn't he?

you ..both the reformed and orthodox..realize you stole it all from the primitive pagan Hoagie followers

Oh sure, just bring up Hoagseidon and beat us over the head with it.
