how does anybody truly judge radio ratings? i worked for a radio station and i can tell you ratings are bogus.

I don't even know how they can reliably judge it, just like TV ratings.  More so, because I've never heard of a Nielson-esque company for radio/

Lightning Bolt was good.

Yeah, C2C is getting really dirty in their booking practices...

What did he say?

How it was such a weird coincidence that Noory got tomorrows guest on C2C tonight and that he had promised to hold the really good stuff back for Dark matter.  It was also mentioned that Art's name had been removed from the end of show once again and Art joked that if it isn't back soon he'd be thank Noory at the end of each Dark Matter for making this whole thing necessary.

No Art, don't do it!

I say George screwed up and booked Tobias for the wrong night, trying to get him to switch shows.
#97
That would be really interesting to do.  I'm going to try it, too.

All I want there is a glass of iced tea.

Sorry, it's room temperature and is half sugar.

And then Art rips right back on his Facebook page...

It was a single show that happened eleven years ago, with several hundred shows preceding and coming after it.

I thought he did die... didn't he die of a drug overdose???

That was Layne Staley.  He died in 2002.

Alternate timeline where Chris Cornell died in 1999?  That's weird.

There are actually a lot of shows that we dont have archives at coast to coast am website.

Yeah, I believe the earliest it keeps track of is post 2002 shows, not counting the ones that have been rebroadcast as classic shows and Somewhere in Time.

He didn't draw it out enough.

And after pulling Art's enemies out of the past and dragging the back onto the air for no good reason other than to be a jerk.

Not just any enemy, either...  We're talking Green Goblin-level enemies.

“731: The next president will not be assassinated. He will succumb to health problems, perhaps heart trouble, or he will die in some air accident. (1994)”

Well, there was the "Pretzel Incident..."  :P

Heh.  I've always wanted to do that.

Play Civilization?  Fun game.  </comicallymissingthepoint>

OK, listening to night before last's show.  Did the main guest accidentally call Dave "Art" at one point during the interview?  It was when he was talking about his heart attack but before he went on about getting angry at the other tribes in Civilization.

Can someone explained to me how Chunga was "dishonest"? Admittedly, I am only half way thorugh Monday night's show but several threads here seem to be shredding the guy and I am just wondering if there is something he specifically said or did. I truly enjoy the EVP shows and, so far, this one is creepy and enjoyable, so I am genuinely asking. Thanks guys!

He's never been mentioned before the beginning of this month, even going through webarchive snapshots of the website, yet he claims to have been there from the beginning.  He's inserted himself into previous EVPs that were introduced by Brendan and Barb without any mention of another GIS member being there.

How can Pearl Jam have its own channel and not Art?  At the moment, they would probably have to license old shows from Premier, but, an Art only channel - that would be the shit.

>:(  >:(

Because they're Pearl Jam!  And yes, Art should have his own channel full of reruns once the library's large enough.

EDIT: And Binaural was a good album!  Besides, the track best used to torture inmates is Stupid Mop.

Would anyone pay $$$$ just to listen to this TMZ?

There's got to be at least someone.  Sad thing is, it's on TV for free!

i wonder if bellgab will become - for some - a kind of barometer for what works on DM and other shows like DM and also a deterrent to going on those shows or even hosting one.  damn we ARE vicious

I don't know about that, but I can see that we're very, very vocal about calling out bullshit.
