That doesn't really count. A few weeks ago he told a story about a cat that was tortured to death and he described each brutal act like he was reading items off of a grocery list. I'm talking about stuff like that.

Menudo? Maybe an original pizza-gate thing? Considering that Menudo for normal Hispanic types, is a soup made from tripe etc that you eat (and helps hangovers)- and name a band of pre or teen Latin boys, some of which came out somewhat messed up, after something you eat?

I got a tripe taco at a Mexican restaurant in Seattle, and it was awful. But I didn't complain. It was my fault for ordering it. I consider myself an adventurous eater. But I didn't know about the hangover thing.

A good old fashioned UFO show tonight with two of the biggest names in the field. Should be comfy. Noory, if you're reading this, please don't kill the mood by reading a news story about a child or pet/animal being tortured/murdered/killed. Thank you.

The thing is that medical hucksterism- and religious zealots, "populist" candidates, and political conspiracy theorists- MADE radio before national companies and advertisers caught on to it. So I sort of feel like Norry and his "doctors," preachers, and political "experts" are bringing the medium full-circle in what, might, be a dying medium (unfortunately.) A few of the more famous ones:

Quote from: Ciardelo on April 12, 2017, 12:53:41 AMThe Beanie Baby Bubble by Zac Bissonette was a book that actually compared Beanies to tulip mania. I found out about it from Coast To Coast. I don't remember for sure who interviewed him but it may have been George and I dont think it was a very good interview. Bissonette also goes into Ty Warner, an enigmatic figure whose marketing ideas may have helped create the bubble. I thought it was fascinating.
Beanie Babies, tulips, etc. I saw a documentary on the tulip boom way back when. I can't tell you the name of it, or where I saw it (probably on PBS though) but I learned my lesson of not chasing the crowd for too long from it.

I guess everything recycles. Just under 20-years ago, there was a Satanic Cult Abusing Children panic in the US. It was fueled in part by Oprah. It led to prosecution of innocent people and the destruction of their lives. There was the McMartin trial in California http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McMartin_preschool_trial, and the Little Rascals trial in North Carolina http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Rascals_day_care_sexual_abuse_trial.
Janet Reno, as state attorney before she was US Attorney General, perfected what PBS Frontline called The Miami Method of Prosecuting Child Abuse Cases.
Please, let's don't go down this trail again.

Yes, I do believe that's right. He also advocates eating like half a dozen eggs I believe (or more, I can't remember the outrageous number--perhaps he'll refresh us tonight) a day. That's 42 eggs/week, folks.
