Listening to the recent jazcast. Chefist's call is a great example of the kind of cheerfully-threatening bullshit that makes me avoid alcohol and people who use it.

Call yourself a Scotsman! I hope that you were, at least, eating a deep-fried Mars bar while you typed that.

Somebody invite Callan to come host the thread. We need a new lizard king anyway.

I just watched a couple of his videos, he's actually rather charming and endearing - a sort of anti-Falkie Falkie, if that makes any sense. It just shows up The Fat One (tm) for the self-centred low-life that he is. It seems that a lot of these YT types form friendships and alliances with other people. Senda has been on there for years but is a total unknown, and whenever he sees someone he has something in common with, he grouses about how his 'act' is getting ripped off. What a slob.

I don't suppose Yorkie bothers with this - he just has to step out of his tent to see it all in glorious actuality - but for those of us living in civilization, this programme keeps us in touch with nature. 'One Man and his Dog', followed by 'Songs of Praise'. It's often the prelude to a Roman orgy in my house.

And there was Ted Rogers with 3 2 1.....Oh deary deary me.

I always wanted a Dusty Bin, so don't speak slightingly of 3-2-1. Let us not forget Bullseye, one of the high watermarks of Western civilization, giving away speedboats to people living in Wolverhampton.

An American show called The Dating Game had the same premise and started in the 1960s. You Brits are at least four decades behind in copying other countries TV show I see.  :P

The "Falkie scenario" happens here starting about 4:20

I enjoyed that. "This fucker has idea what's going on".

I am quite happy to be backward when it comes to TV shows, because it might have spared us this particular abomination. There's something just not right when Brits try to copy Americans' natural vulgarity. When we get it on the act it all goes pear-shaped. It's like watching your dad trying to dance. I don't think we ever recovered as a nation after this. Even though the show was short-lived, I think the damage had already been done.

dave said On Air.. that the pilot he is working on is about his paranormal date, where people meet up and fall in love while chasing bigfeets. I don't see  how falkie would fit in that?

I'm not so sure about that. We used to have a show here called 'Blind Date', where three young hopefuls would try to compete for the attentions of whoever was behind the screen to be their blind date. It could only be a one-shot deal, but if they could line up three hotties, only to see Senda waddling out from behind the screen looking like a decrepit Gamorrean Guard and forcing them (at gunpoint, if necessary) to spend the day with him while he's complaining about his knees and his mother...this would be huge, if that fat fuck was man enough to go along with it.

How do you exist without making a profit?

The London Guardian is notoriously unprofitable, it posts consistently large losses but it still keeps going. I think they have some endowment or other that keeps them afloat, although it doesn't stop them begging for money like Falkie.

I enjoyed the show the other night. Ideally, the success of any show depends on a minimum of PKaiser content, and I think we managed a satisfactory balance on this one, with some people even hoping suspecting that the periods of agreeable silence on his part meant he'd succumbed to a grabber halfway through.

I'm glad my operative managed to get in a mention about the Ashes. Check this out and weep, sunshine!

I'm hearing MV and Jackstar talking on the air.  What a combo.  I hope to hear them talking together again some day, along with PK, Luka, YP and SV.  I imagine it as a roundtable of excellent voices, worthy of the worlds best headphones.

I think they are quite strict about visiting hours, so Jackstar only has a small window to call. YP is a common oaf, I don't know why  you'd want to hear him. PK's a man with a thousand voices, but none of them give an impression of man with any talent. I shall reserve judgement on the rabbit fellow, but I'm sure he was awful.

You didn't mention IB, for obvious reasons. But if you have moles on your lawn, I can testify from personal experience that if you put a speaker against the grass when she happens to be on the little bastards run for the hills and are never seen again.

That's one of the Mandela Effect things, the spelling of dilemna.

I've never heard that one before, but a 'lemma' means a proposition, so 'dilemma' means to be caught between two different ones. I think sometimes people are just getting caught up on a wrong word or idea, the way that kids can sometimes say 'skellington' and haven't had it beaten out of them yet. The  differences are pretty minor, so it would be easy to get confused. I do remember Strieber doing a show once with someone called Starfire Tor, who was blithering on about how the world seems to be changing, but I can't recall much of it beyond that.

Oh thanks. I might listen for a change.

You mean you're not the guest? I thought you were the world's leading expert on this now.

For the love of dog, will somebody kidnap MV and (preferably at gunpoint, and following a punitive anal violation) force him to put up this sodding GC! I understand PKaiser was reminiscing about his days as personal fluffer to Burns and Allen, IB was talking unutterable balls, and the rabbit dude gave us half an hour about the joys of 'man-boy love'.

I definitely remember the lion will lay with the lamb, not the wolf.

Whereas, in your case, it's anything in trousers. Or preferably out of them.

Ha!
Me and KD must have had a few because we got our Richters crossed and had to be corrected this AM by one of the Brits who amazingly have found their way onto a website about a foreign radio host/show that no longer broadcasts.

It's inadvisable to cross one's Richters, especially in this hot weather. Anyway, I thought you were talking about this one, rather than the other.

Thanks for letting me field all the enquiries about our joint no show last night/this morning. Cheers.

Mr Smiles refused to let me go. Anyway, nothing is stopping you going on by yourself, poppet. People might start talking if we are seen out in public too often.

Oops, I didn't mean to imply you were an ignoramus. I've been on BG too long, so it's easy to fall into that trap.

I'm glad most seemed to have enjoyed even if some of the calls and the chat got heated.

It looks like I'll have to wait for the download to find out what that's all about.

Those must be all the Bach cantatas, then!  What a find!

You're mixing up your Richters. Albrecht is talking about Karl Richter, you're talking about Sviatoslav. One was an organist and conductor, the other was a pianist.

Pud it's no different than what happens to people on reality TV shows. Hell go watch the first "reality show"  An American Family to see how media coverage changes people.

I don't think she changed, it's just that when an intense spotlight gets directed on you it's likely to reveal things that were previously concealed. Also, she was an elected official to begin with, it's not as though she was some soccer mom they pulled out of nowhere.

We really should do a foreign version of The GabCast. Perhaps call it Le GabCast and class it up a little bit.

Or, if it was you, me and Yorkie, call it The GabCunts.

With Halloween just around the corner, I am offering BellGabbers this exciting offer! I'm sure we've  all wanted to know what it's like to waddle around in 64" waist shorts, well wonder know more. You don't need to go on the all-kielbasa diet with the all-new inflatable Falkie suit. Shamble around your home town filming road accidents. Record fatuous videos displaying your nineteen chins. Also available in the 'Sumo Femme' version, here modelled by Sweet Kathy.

Don't delay, offer ends soon. Only for the low, low price of $6000 (excluding shipping and handling).

I never heard this episode before, or maybe I did and forgot...  (Redacted) talking about her NDE.

It sounds like every show she does these days is a near-death experience, both for her and the audience.

Now MV is talking about that show Hoarders, inspired by viewing Falkie videos.  I wonder if old UFO ship programs run on here all the time?  I never thought to check.  Its great to just hear random old bellgab conversations.

I suppose that includes those two Falkbortions with Senda inhaling pizza and chicken wings. At least jaz can take comfort in the fact that no  matter how vigorously he screws the pooch, he will never be as bad as that. That doesn't stop him trying though.

hahaha Jazmunder is talking about giving a girl her first kiss and tossing her away like garbage.

'She' must have got a puncture. Oh well, at least that one had two legs instead of four, even if they were made of plastic.

Given that you are only in this to make fun of Senda anyway, I suppose that makes you the chief Master baiter?
