An opportunity for WOTR to delve down and unlock those demons within, to help, nurture and strengthen all Bellgabbers, improving their pitiful lives and gaining fulfillment.

Question for WOTR: I have a friend who thinks he may have inadvertently hurt a small lime tree in his back yard.  Either by under/over watering, too much sun/not enough sun, not the correct feed etc. How does WOTR think it could be revived?

Anyway...here's how it can happen when you get cross bench support for something worthwhile...I cannot imagine McConnell would even dream of letting this go through. It's such a commie thing to do after all.

https://www.bbc.com/news/av/uk-politics-48857410/tearful-carolyn-harris-speech-on-children-s-funeral-fund

QuoteAn MP is applauded after her emotional speech on the introduction of the Children's Funeral Fund following her "impatient" campaigning.

Carolyn Harris thanked MPs from across the political divide who had helped to instigate the government funding for bereaved parents for the cost of their child's funeral.

The deputy leader of Welsh Labour has been calling for the fund - which will start on 23 July - since she had to take out a loan to pay for the funeral of her son, Martin.

Her campaigning zeal was praised by Speaker John Bercow and the prime minister.

Yeah especially if you live in California or any other leftist stronghold.  In Georgia, you can get by on a lot less money.  Of course we are overrun with Yankee transplants so this state may become a shit hole as well in 30 years or so. If taxes are too high for you and you leave your state for someplace more affordable then please change your voting practices because we don't want the same shit happening in GA.

Only problem with living in GA is having to regress two hundred years and share a sister.

I know, the previous poster was claiming relevance to WWII to Trump's, generally, no-war policy, contrary to the Democrats, Neo-Cons, Obama, and Bush policies or desires.

ps: Thank you Britain! That was a great pact we had!

Ha! "
Angloâ€"Polish Pact of Mutual Assistance European history   THIS IS A DIRECTORY PAGE. Britannica does not currently have an article on this topic. "

Trump doesn't have any policies..He just does things that will get his base riled up. If he got word that his base wanted the US to, I dunno, invade Angola, first he'd need to find out which continent it was on, then get out his sharpie out to scrawl on an EO and tweet it out..

"Terrible news!! Angola is bad, I will STRONGLY send MY army and destroy them" No Collusion.

there's more to it with the competition with Airbus Boeing tacked on the larger engines onto a 1960's air frame. They then made up for it with software, but to cut costs hired software engineers for $9.00 per hour. Profit once again more valuable than our lives. Capitalism at its finest.  Listen to Ralph fill in the lurid details. Really a great interview.

Here's an article to have a gander at.

https://www.seattletimes.com/business/boeing-aerospace/failed-certification-faa-missed-safety-issues-in-the-737-max-system-implicated-in-the-lion-air-crash/

And what an acquaintance of mine said (He's a highly qualified aerospace engineer).

QuoteIf the allegations are accurate then I struggle to see how Boeing could continue to hold its Design Authority approval (other than the "too big to fail" thing).

Maybe a better example for your doomsday scenarios would be Britain's (and French) betrayal of Poland prior to WWII* or the usual appeasement issue and "peace in our time?" Or the idea earlier before WWI that global trade would prevent wars (Passey, Hume, etc) -this idea was popular just a few years ago here in certain circles who advocated globalism, the internet, and international trades etc-even though at the time in Germany a best selling book was "Germany and the Next War" by F. von Bernhadri advocating war and the Prussian concept of war as a "necessity"and even "divine?" The copy on my shelf is signed "Xmas 1914 from Maud" but it is an English printing, originally published in German in 1911?

*and after with regard to Poland and others than became a part of the Soviet-Bloc

Overly simplistic to what really happened, and irrelevant to today. In 1914 and 1938 there were no nuclear weapons. And for all his faults, (and he had many) Chamberlain wasn't a petulant, manchild idiot like Trump is.

Why would a police force have a PC-12? That seems like a lot of airplane for routine police work.

I imagine because of the distances involved.

Indeed, but they put the larger engines (with a different thrust line to the standard fitment) because they wanted to make a quick, relatively cheap (!) alternative to the Airbus offering, which necessitated the software in the first place. The issue after the failure is as much to do with the sheer effort needed by the crew to counteract the auto anti stall than it is the actual software. What is criminal is that Boeing didn't deem it necessary to actually make it common knowledge and a simulator update to be trained on. Pilots shouldn't be made out to be the ones at fault the way Boeing have implied.

Get the inside story about the design problems with the 737 Max. What Boeing has done is monstrous, and criminal. Ralph Nader tells it like it is. https://www.rt.com/shows/on-contact/463042-civic-life-ralph-nader/ You won't want to get on one after seeing this interview.

What Boeing did was because the FAA (due to chronic cut backs) absolved itself of signing off the update. The debate about whether the Max series of aeroplanes should have been an entirely new proposition and certification (Read: Millions of dollars) will roll on for years and years, and most can see why Boeing did what they did to head off the Airbus update, but ultimately they pretty much were the fox put  in charge of the hen house.

To be fair, the little orange man has not started any major wars yet (I think that the winner of the Nobel peace prize probably outpaced the new president in wars...  Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan.)

I'm not a yuge Donald fan- but I don't think that the whole "he's going to lead the world into war" will fly this election cycle. I still think he is a sleaze-ball... But so far he does not appear to be a war monger...

I wonder what his next term will bring?

Oh I agree, the war monger is Bolton. But Trump could easily tweet something that would kick something off; then deny he did it, then say he did but it was misunderstood, then 'so what, Bush started it', then okay but it'll be the biggest war with the most casualties ever, then everyone has said what a bigly beautiful, strongest war it is.

It's just not the same.  I think having a "Hot Spare" Senda ready to go when the inevitable occurs is a good idea but this guy just isn't it.

Seems like he is more interested in junk than lactating whores.   He just went to take a squirt and didn't bring the web cam into the head with him.
Not going to get the job done.

I suspect there's a certain innocence, a sense of propriety with him. If we could persuade him to look at a few select Senda video offerings and transcripts of various predilections that Senda has boasted about (Toilet plunging, Starbucks having 14 year old schoolgirl customers, lactating women etc) perhaps he'd see he needs to raise his game...Naturally he'd need to get rid of his existing camera and mic set up and tone down the decor to that of caveman's hovel, but it could be possible.

He loses extra bonus points because he's eating something with 'Hershey's' on the label.

I thought it had been shelved as an idea. Didn't know it was going ahead.

That was last year...So far $2.5 Million has been re allocated out of the budget that goes to maintaining national parks for , erm, everyone, and instead will go to Dear Leader pretending he's in the same league of dictators as Kim. Once upon a time in the NOT so distant past, the GOP would have been apoplectic at the notion of the 4th July being a campaign rally and military based.

Don't forget, I am paying you double to do your worst on the 4th. No cup of Mountain Dew must go unpissed in, and I want a special effort to get as many burger baps covered in ball sweat as you can. Thanks in advance.

My T shirt hasn't arrived yet "Happy 4th July you treacherous bastards"

I'm looking forwards to the headlines on the fifth showing photos of the tanks' (Even the 'new' Sherman tanks last used in the 1950's) carve up of Pennsylvania Avenue and the road repair crews out with their gear. All so the man child can have his own extra speshul parade in his name. Kim and Putin will be calling him up and telling him how impressed they were showing off 'his' army and 'his' airforce. If he could, he'd probably get it all flooded to get a cruiser or Carrier sailing down.

Millions of people ask me...Well when I say millions I really mean a few hundr....That isn't strictly accurate, a few dozen.. Actually nearer under ten...Absolutely no-one asks me why I read my own posts first, in the middle or last. I have absolutely no idea who the imposter is pretending to be me, but he/she is obviously a blaggard; a dark cove and should be horsewhipped by my favourite gillie.

I have never 'got' this website other than it should be resigned to the annuls of all evil doings and nefarious intent.
