little retard of a male!

Only my hairdresser and George Noory know for sure.

I take offense at that; I'm not little.

For sure, more than those two must know for sure.

Heh. Jason Offutt at "From The Shadows" from-the-shadows.blogspot.com used to post some simply marvelous tales of BEKs. He's apparently gone pro and has quit posting at his site, and uses it only to announce his appearances and interviews. But he's left up several years of juicy paranormal stuff that is about as well done as anything I have found. This includes gobs of posts about BEK incidents, including, IIRC, the original posts from Brian Bethel, the guy who started it all in the late 90's with his own terrifying experiences with kids with no whites to their eyes and a spooky affect. If you're at all interested in BEKs, "From The Shadows" is a must-see.

BTW, Jason also posted a series that I think originated at his site from folks who wrote him to tell of what is to me one of the creepiest occurrences imaginable. These are the "Tales Of The Harlequin" - http://from-the-shadows.blogspot.com/2009/10/night-of-harlequin.html Disturbing.

Thanks for posting that; you saved me the trouble. Bethel is a rare gem for the simple fact that we know his identity. He likely is responsible for starting an urban legend, our generation's version of fables and folklore, for the new millennium. How often can one trace back to the person responsible for starting an urban legend? Such urban legends almost always seem to appear out of thin air, events that a friend of a friend of a friend experienced. Who first encountered the vanishing hitchhiker or the lunatic who left his hook on a car door? These urban legends may be based on older folklore, but they originated from someone. Bethel, if he exists, may be the first "someone" we've found.

Noory hears about black-eyed children...he grabs a box of tissue and says "tell me slowly"

Can you explain Noory's Casper fetish?

(Not) Noory: "If you punched a baby in the eye, would it turn into a mean baby?"

Yes, THIS is what I was referring to (we all know the usual suspects).  Can't say for sure if HorrorRetro meant that as well.

It's probably safe to say that she shares our usual suspicions. She knows that we can ////"read"////.

she's not that huge.  she's just very hot and seemingly quite eager.  yay

marylin - 'blondes have more fun'
jane - 'but brunettes do it better'

why argue?

You'll get no argument from me. Blondes don't have more fun; blondes *are* more fun.

This reminds one of his infomercial on the Syfy Channel. My guess is that his new gig will be just as popular and successful. It might even have a longer run. IOW, he'll be lucky if it lasts a month.

I bet that you really meant to type, "I'm a fan of huge Jane Russell." It's just a hunch.

Maybe it wasnt him, but he sure does fit the bill , look how bad he's crying already...

He's probably wiping tears of impotent rage off his keyboard as we speak.

I wouldn't bet on that, either. Well, I might, but I wouldn't want to take your money. ;)

It's a fairly obvious reference to Eddie Coyle .

Are you a betting man? I'll bet you anything that they weren't referring to him.

People who can dish it out but not take it annoy me.  It's fine for them to continuously make comments critical of others, but God forbid anyone says anything slightly critical to them. They then scream protected status.  ::)  If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

I had to reply to you because I share your pet peeve. I have a kennel full of pet peeves, but this one takes pride of place. I can't tell you the number of times that I've crossed paths with PC ninnies and group-think nitwits, who were living embodiments of your post. I often laughed at the absurdity of their comments.

Professional Victim: "I'm not a bigot like those stupid inbreds in the South."
Me: "Could you *be* more hypocritical?"
Professional Victim: "You sound like one of those intolerant haters."

The self-proclaimed tolerant "progressives" are some of the least tolerant individuals on the face of the Earth.
