...Quite honestly, this problem isn't going away. It will always be with us...

Yes.

Probably passed through a portal, which took them to the future, where they saw Noory doing C2C.  More than enough to finish them off.

I think it's the Memphis Belle - a B17

Ah...great!  This is the B-17 I get the pleasure of seeing and hearing at times.

I thought it was this.

They're restoring a WWII bomber at Wright Patt and I've seen it flyin a couple times. It's the last of its kind and never goes far from home. Really something to see

Do you know what type of bomber?  I can always tell when the airshow is coming to my area.  I hear the roar of a B-17 passing overhead several times during the day.

...And why do they present everybody with a paper copy of the entire PP demonstration and THEN present the actual PP?  Blech....

So you can sneak out of the dreadful experience and still know what was in the presentation.  ;)  I wish my college courses had been done this way.  Well, at least the 8:00 in the morning classes.

...The $nooremaster himself wrote me an email asking if I could clean up my living room because he finds the stuff behind me to be highly distracting.

First Bateman, now you?  Between hassling Bellgabbers and trolling the site, when does Dave find the time to do his show prep?  Oh, wait.....

The National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, FL is incredible. Probably has more actual aircraft than NA&SM, although most are outside.  http://www.navalaviationmuseum.org/

+ 1 for the Naval Aviation Museum.  The beach is really nice in that part of Florida, as well.  I used to live not far from one of the best aviation museums in the world, the Air Force Museum in Dayton, Ohio.  If you ever get a chance, go.  One of my favorite planes is there, the B-70.

I love your attempt to bring back glamour to flying. When we were little kids, my grandpa used to take us to the airport to people watch; eat in the restaurants, which were quite fancy back then; and out on the observation decks to watch the planes take off and land. It was a lot of fun and so exciting -- nothing like it is now.

I avoid flying as much as possible.  It used to be a treat, now it's nothing but a pain.  I remember my first flight was on a roomy DC-10.  It was a champagne flight, even for coach, and had a bar and an arcade game, like PacMan, between first class and coach.  The flight attendants were still called stewardesses, gasp, and were actually pleasant.  Going forward in time doesn't always mean progress.  :(

Maybe we can borrow Dave's birthday card.

I don't have any interest in hockey but Tim Hortons is OK.

The expression on this poor dog's face says it all.  "Please, Dave.  Don't make me listen to you again."

...Another funny short story about my stoner dayz. My folks were out of town and I left the house one day and my grandmother came over to do some cleaning. Anyway I returned home to find my bong cleaned for me and there were a couple of flowers and fresh water placed in there. God bless my now dear departed grandmother...

Hahahah... ;D  Beautiful.  Years ago, I worked at what you'd call a "very secure" facility.  Everything that was shipped into the place was opened and carefully inspected by security.  My grandmother sent me some candy but, for some reason, she addressed it to my work place instead of my home.  I received her candy, with an official inspection sticker and an approval stamp on the box.

I haven't posted here since Art came back on the air....Does Dave still suck?
And how does Snoory's suckage compare to his suckage before the Return?

Does the Sun still shine?  Is Tommy still "big boned?"  Of course Dave still sucks.  I don't think Dave has changed his suckage.  He perfected it some years back.

... Like most or all of you, I've learned to adjust lest the Gods That Be think me ungrateful and take Art away again.  :(

It IS Art, after all. And he's back!  8)

Heck, yeah!  I don't want to have to start sacrificing virgins or cutting hearts outs again.  That really messes up the day.

I'm usually downloading and listening to the shows later, anyway.  Love listening to 3 and a half hours of Art with virtually no commercials (the ones Art does for C Crane don't bother me).  I just click on the download around the witching hour and let the Moody Blues kick off the ride.

agree

Now it will be the profundity of " could it had been a yeti?  Could Bigfoot be an alien?"

Double agree.  What a terrible waste of a potentially interesting topic.  This would have been perfect for Knapp.  He could have easily turned it into a David Paulides-type show  Yes, instead it'll be "could it have been mean baby angels, using a portal?"  ::)

Yes, I did not see his posting on the link that you provided.

Sorry, saw it; he is still going by Gnoory.
Thanks

Yeah, he's still Gnoory.  You can also tell by his typically bizarre avatar.

I'm surprised that they haven't aired only poor episodes since Dark Matter's debuted.

I think PremRat knows poor episodes of C2C are Dave's job.
