I'm thinking about building a computer for use only for music production. I will not have it connected to the internet. Will Win10 allow me to operate without an internet connection?

yes.

Figure out why they are worth anything at all, and their true value becomes vividly apparent.

as is the case with cash.

Crypto market is a dumpster fire too.

I've always appreciated appropriate use of the term "dumpster fire."

or they don't want to let the israelis to be credited with a victory.

Something's come up and I won't be able to make it tomorrow.  However, I could do it pretty much any other day this week.

Diet Pepsi has some spice taste from like one of the ones used in pumpkin spice that bugs my olfactory.

it's probably nutmeg, which is easily detectable in regular coke.

Coke for regular.   But Pepsi for diet.

i thought i was the only one who believed this.  pepsi really nailed the diet cola taste.  diet coke tastes like battery acid.  most disgusting thing i've ever consumed.

They took my $5 and I don't have access to the archives even though I am logged in.

It's my understanding that's how it's supposed to work.

every prediction this guy made in the hillary email "investigation" failed to materialize.  from her imminent indictment to the subsequent uprising of outraged fbi agents... none of it came to pass.  and, every prediction he made was predicated on his supposed stream of privileged information from within the fbi.  i generally move on to something else when he starts yapping.

Sure, it's a cesspool.  The Trumpers, climate-deniers, Flat-Earthers...

Point is, Art is turning on BellGab only NOW because we haven't accepted his Heather scam.  He used to revel in the Snoory bashing and post on here all the time when we were all supportive subscribers, but he burned us.

Art never really understood this place beyond its usefulness as a mechanism for promotion and assistance.

I somehow knew even before I clicked on the article that it was going to say Fentanyl. I'm starting to think it should be taken off the market altogether.

no shit.  i've been seeing the name of that drug in connection with dead people more and more frequently.

thank god pot's illegal, though.

Rush Limbaugh had, maybe still has (haven't listened since the 1990s - the content of his program became unbearable when he started talking about Monica Lewinski every day. I never liked the Clintons, and I never cared who they were sleeping with.) an excellent voice. I remember that his pronunciation, tone, and vocabulary were top notch. Unlike the made-for-print voices of the NPR newscasters, he had none of the grating vocal tics, blood curdling lisps, ghastly lip-smacking, "creaky girl," and other heinous idiosyncrasies of the NPR crew that made my skin crawl whenever my American ex girlfriend listened to NPR. As for his personal life, I find it bizarre that a far right social conservative, who at one time called for the jailing of all potheads IIRC, is a junkie. And worse, he forced his maid to risk imprisonment by copping pills for him at various pharmacies with fake scripts.

Just this week Limbaugh referenced Obama's prior drug use.  When I heard it, I sort of stared blankly at my phone in disbelief.  I think even Rush realized, two seconds after it exited his mouth, just how absurd it was for him to have gone down that road.
