From last night's show-

"Wouldn't it be really cool to drain all the oceans for just one day! Imagine the lost cities, the shipwrecks, it'd be amazing."

Just where in the hell would you put all this drained water?
well, we could manufacture large, stackable tubs and place the water in them...
or, we could put it in bottles.

What about , alcoholic , insecure ,  little man , big faker , his own biggest fan .
while he might sound like an alcoholic on a nightly basis, i'm not aware of any evidence that he actually IS one.  just wanted to throw that out there for the purpose of avoiding legal action.

OMG I caught the young turks today on youtube and bingo--they are listing TWENTY advertisers who have dumped Glenn Beck in the last 2 days because of his absolutely awful characterizations of President Obama as a hater of white people, a racist (I know, he is surrounded by white people except for his family, but let's not cloud the issue with evidence).
i don't like beck or care what happens to him, but holy shit, that young turks show is just about as fun as rectal cancer, and that guy's take on things is utterly predictable.  any time i've caught a bit of it, it's "insert predictable leftist viewpoint here."  it's exactly like listening to hannity, only not as professional or successful.

also, if we're going to talk about evidence of how obama sees white people (rather than assess him based solely on what he publicly shows us for the purpose of acquiring and retaining power), i feel compelled to point to his past associations (of over 20 years) when making this determination.

when i was around 13 years old, someone warned me, "you are who you walk with."  that really stuck with me, and i apply it to most people i encounter... particularly politicians who, more often than not, live their lives hiding what they really are.  i believe, regardless of how crazy anyone here says i am, that the above association marks a rare instance in which we were given a glimpse of what really lies in a politician's heart.  i just don't see how one could be exposed to such acidic bilge for 20 years by accident.

edit:  and take note of the fact that obama left that association ONLY when it became politically expedient to do so.  there's loyalty for you.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
i don't know what that's all about.

anyway, the fact that beck, hannity, palin, and to a lesser degree limbaugh have decided to suckle up to ron paul's tea party movement doesn't change what it really is... a libertarian movement.  it might be manifesting its self in the form of more republicans getting elected, but that's only because in our two party system, you can't empower a political ideology without doing so under an R or D wrapper.  that might change in the future, but not any time soon.  hell, that's why ron paul himself is technically a member of the republican party... but do you think he really wants it that way or wears it on his sleeve?

at one time, we had a "george noory rocks" thread.  it was removed due to an embarrassing lack of participation.

type3tv...
the thing you need to understand and come to peace with is the fact that your show, regardless of its production quality, will ALWAYS fail to please everyone.  i'm sure you already know this, but it is a point worth articulating.

regardless of what anyone thinks of your show, at least you're putting yourself out there and doing it.  that's more than most people can say.

edit:  one more thing... obviously, the longer you do it, the better you're going to get.  just keep rolling with it.

Finally, if Tea Partiers actually talked to a real progressive, they'd be shocked at how much we'd agree.
the tea party movement is not a "conservative" movement.  it is a libertarian movement.

he's had that god damned avatar since almost the beginning of the forum... and if he were to change it... it would be like learning harvey pekar has died again.

xylophone... now THERE's an underrated instrument.  some of the greatest songs of all time use it.

thanks for the concern... no, just a series of surgeries to fix my trachea... due to a surgery many years ago because I was intubated too tightly my trachea has narrowed to the diameter less than a straw... bleh

yeah will be fine just a pain in the neck (literally) and recovery
and try to keep us posted with regard to your condition/recovery.  there have been a couple times in the past where members have apprised me/us of an illness, and i/we never heard from them again.  that's worrisome when it happens, to say the least.

Here's something that popped into my mind a couple of minutes ago, this Art Bell Message was timed not for when our thread was slowing down! Look at the calender, it's almost the end of February, which ends a 4-month drought of Art not being on the air. I don't know where this is coming from, space or somewhere else, but Art will announce sometime in March his plans to return to the air! An announcement is coming soon!
what are you going to promise to do to yourself as punishment if you are wrong?  there has to be some sort of a wager.

What would be funny is if during open lines, someone called in and said "Hey George, I'm sitting here taking a dump and it reminded me to call you"
... and then... plop.
#18682
haha, i'm so out of touch with what's happening on this show.  if not for all of you, i would be oblivious to this stuff.

I admit listening to George for the same reason. It's gotten to the point where I keep a notepad beside the bed so I can write things down as he says them. No way will I remember it the next day!
