Jesus christ, Clyde is going full retard a lot lately. He was having a few good to great shows a week but lately he hasn't even been coherent. Trying to listen to his Rats Wars show from Tuesday and he spent the first half hour screaming about how all of our children will be dead or enslaved in 22 years. Most of the stuff he's saying barely connects. It's getting rather odd.

I have to agree. I have mostly quit listening to him. With his "everything is connected" rants, he is starting to come off as a bit delusional.

Well, at least he's really good at computers.  I just discovered this yesterday and had to listen to it three times:

Where in the hell has this been? This is the first time I've heard it. Both my husband and I were laughing until we were crying.  ;D

Did you take all those other Tacoma pictures?    Very nice work.   Sorry to hear about the camera gear :(

Thanks.  Yes, all the photos on that site are mine, except the few photos of me that my husband took.

Is that covered by insurance?

I think if you were to post a link to your PayPal account I could see some of us BG'ers helping to offset the cost of replacing some of this stolen gear.

Thanks so much for the offer, but I couldn't accept any money. I do appreciate it though! Some of it will be covered by insurance, so that'll help. This was the final photo I took with the camera that was stolen. I took it Christmas night in a place called Opera Alley in Tacoma.

I hate when thieves get to have a happy Christmas. Hopefully they will be caught or "stand-your-grounded" by the next person they decide to steal from. (expensive stuff like that should have a gps RFid or at least tracking signal/alert if they come in proximity to a Wifi signal. Oh wait. Katherine Albrecht will get me for suggesting.) Hope the loss doesn't stop your photography for too long!

I don't know how the police are in your area. But in Spokane they won't even show up unless it was an armed robbery, or someone, got hurt because theft so rampant. Just issue a report over the phone to tell your insurance company. But you might want to alert pawnshops just in case. Here they offered to come and "dust for prints" when I had my car stereo stolen but, honestly, didn't sound too enthused for me to take them up on the offer. Plus I didn't want dust all over the truck, in addition to no radio! So issue a report for insurance.

The police were really good about it. They came out and dusted for fingerprints and all that. However, the chance of ever getting any justice is slim to none. Apparently, there have been a bunch of break-ins in the past couple days. We did check the pawn shops and the swap meet yesterday, and I'm checking Craigslist hourly. I hope whoever stole it buys some meth and it's the last hit they ever take. Harsh, but I have no pity for jerks who steal from people.  >:(

Homeowner's will cover some of it, but there's the huge deductible. Blah.

Damn. It's going to show up on everyone's Amazon account.  :-[

I was bored on Sunday, so I went to the state capitol site and wandered around. It was really cool that we were allowed to go in and have mostly unrestricted access to the actual capitol building. This is in the traffic circle outside the capitol.

Tonight's show was excellent. I wouldn't write this unless I was blown away. Tonight Ground Zero looked at the Secret Space Program with one of my favorite guests of all time Peter Davenport. There's nothing I love more than secret government conspiracies. And it was awesome to have a well prepared host who could ask a quality guest decent questions.

Yes, last night's show was quite good. I tuned in during the second hour, so I'll probably go back and check out the first hour.

In Ohio it is 10 degrees and there is a 5 inch blanket of snow everywhere.  That rain forest looks like heaven right now.  Thanks for sharing.

The rain forest was beautiful, but it was also quite cold, down to about 30 degrees. But once you start walking around there, you forget about the weather and get lost in the scenery. It always reminds me of prehistoric times. I'm so glad I only have to drive about 35 miles to get there.

So many talented people here!!! I wish I could find my old portfolio of my pencil drawings, but I'm afraid they're as good as gone.

I feel a little dorky sharing my current art medium- sugar paste/fondant. This is one of the dummy cakes I made when I was learning how to make hydrangeas.

Very nice! I once bought a big Wilton cake decorating kit, but I never got into it for some reason. I'm jealous of those who can do cakes like yours.  :)

I've been busy with a visit from my family. We went to the rain forest last weekend, and I got this shot.

However after a few months of THE LOUDSPEAKER SPOKE UP AND SAID at 10 dB louder than program level, just as your nodding off, well that gets old quick.

So does having your husband yell it every time he hears it on Clyde's show.  ;D

Clyde is definitely thin skinned when it comes to anyone disagreeing with him. I also don't care for or believe in his everything-is-connected rants and memes. If I never hear the word meme again, I'll be happy. That said, when he has a show dedicated to one specific topic, such as UFOs or a haunting, he's a great host. He's intelligent, engaged, literate, and puts out a good show. He makes Noory look like the true amateur he is.

you dont listen to knapp????

I should have clarified that I don't listen to AM radio during the daytime hours on the weekend.

MV, I do agree that Medved is irritatingly partial to the Republican establishment.

Has anybody in the Puget Sound market noticed that 770 is running Medved reruns, often the same ones over and over, at night, weekends, seemingly all the time, at the expense of Rush or other reruns people might want to hear.  Gone are the days of Bill Handel.  It may(gasp, shudder) even cut into infomercial time.

"Medved in the morning, Medved in the evening, Medved at suppertime..."

No, I hadn't noticed. I usually listen to him or Sean in the afternoon and then Shapiro afterwards. I then switch over to 570 KVI for Lars Larson. 770 fades out for me at about 4 p.m. now, so I can't listen after that. I avoid all AM stations on the weekends because there is nothing but suckage on the weekends, unless Handel is on.

I just found this interesting tidbit from a 2012 online review of Warren's book How to Hunt Ghosts.

So I guess your memory is working well.

Interesting.

I also remember JPW saying he was related to the Warrens some years back.

Glad it's not just me remembering that. I know I heard him say he was their nephew. I'd guess it was maybe three years ago when I heard him say that.

I caught a few minutes of the show last night, and JPW said he was no relation to Ed and Lorraine Warren. I could have sworn a few years ago that he said he was their nephew. Does anyone else recall that?

Those are beautiful! I really like the dog jumping for the stick, and the pelicans flying across that great cloud formation with the sun behind it!

Thanks! I just happened to be in the right place when I saw that cloud formation moving over the sun. I had already been shooting it, and then the little door in the cloud opened up and the sun ray came though. It was pretty cool to watch it all happen.

Given his track record, he probably moved his family to Mosul just before IS became active there.

They're in a safe house in Kobani this week.
