What's up with this dude getting every Available weekend slot lately.

Schrader has not been on in a long while.

Syrett is Jorch's golden-haired boy.  Schrader is not.  :'(

Edit:  IIRC, Schrader did say he would be hosting Sat., November 29th, but that is always up to the vicissitudes of Premiere's current work of art.

The greatest interview of all that George could ever do would be with Charles Manson.

Crazy meets the stupid.

Manson:  "Zip zap zadfrack on a zippy zippity dee-doo-dah."

Noory:  "Charlie, let me as you this:  Where do you get your passion?"

bwahahahahahahah!!!! Oh, I love this!  ;D

FWIW, I wouldn't listen to tonight's "show" on a bet.  Just reading the night's topics and your post on the same page makes me want to lock Manson in a room with Noory and wait outside the door.  >:(

Syrett's show last night was so full of commercials, lengthy plays of bumper music I don't like, teases that he would again be back in a minute, and love letters to Noory, that even if the Zodiac speculations hadn't been long ago done to death, I still wouldn't have enjoyed it.

Tonight Syrett will be back with why cholesterol isn't a bad thing and how we can change the evolution of our consciousness. I'm done with this guy. :P

Who the hell is JDK? And why did he tell us to reach for the stars?

JDK is Jess Don Know.  He wrote some of JFK's best speeches.  :-*

Interesting.  Another new guest host for c2c.  Never heard this guy.  He any good?

I've never heard him.  Hope Fight the Future and I don't agree on this.  Here's a clip from Holland's webpage:

I think it's just that we're more inclined to notice what we disagree with.

True that, MV.

That's why C2C is even worse for us lefties.  While Simple Jorch thinks he has everyone fooled when he says he's politically neutral and is only looking for the truutth, he collects every right wing spokesman he can drum up as regular commentators, and the agenda he pushes is 100% right side of the aisle.

I used to write to him (when I was an Insider) and try desperately to explain to him that whether he pushed left wing politics or right wing politics, he would be irritating large numbers of people who just wanted to be entertained by the paranormal.  He never "got it," Art's blessing notwithstanding. GNS  :P

We get another 3day Noory-Free weekend starting tonight with Noory off at another event this time in Nevada this weekend.
Plus as a bonus George Knapp returns on Sunday with good old-time guests and JFK conspiracy topics beating Noory to the punch since he will probably have his own JFK show in a couple weeks.

I think Knapp also mentioned recently that he would have Bob Lazar back again possibly later this month?

Probably shouldn't be posting the name of the school she's attending.

That is Art's choice.  Maybe he's managed to escape the paranoia Jorch constantly pushes on Coast, unlikely as that may seem.

One other tidbit (since you now know the truth about Pink Floyd and Facebook, thanks to others):

Immediately under whatever posts are shared on Facebook are three little blue words, "Like," "Comment," and "Share."  They are clickable links.

As a reasonable man, Art knows or should know (as the law would state) that this offers the opportunity for all 5,000 of his "friends" to SHARE what they have received with potentially millions of their other "friends."

I rest my case forever and anon. (Remind me I said that if I start to preach again someday.)  8)

Let me just explain to any 90 yr olds out there who don't understand how Facebook works:

Whenever I open up my very own Facebook "page" with my name on it and everything, first thing I see is what any of my "friends" have sent to ME.

Since I am a "friend" of Art's, when he sends out something on Facebook, it NOT ONLY appears on HIS page, it ALSO appears on MY page, as well as on the pages of all his other 4,999 "friends."

I do not apologize that I may at times share what has been given to me under the most open possible conditions one can share one's photos, thoughts, or whatever else may ring their bell on any given day.

Questions, anyone?  ::)

For those of you who haven't listened to Church on DMN, remember that Church is presenting his best side tonight.  He'd be a fool to not.

He started the show tonight with a rather mellow radio-friendly voice, but that voice soon oscillated into the scratchy growly one he uses on his own show.  The bumper music has been tamed by C2C, and Church's efforts aren't magnified by the unholy screeching sounds he pumps out at high volume all through his regular show.  Missing also are his often stumbling, bumbling drawn-out and pointless rambles while he tries to pretend callers are waiting, even though he never quite gets around to actually taking any. The arrogance ... oy, don't get me started on that.  :(

Even so, he is or can be a better interviewer than Noory. But then, who isn't?

Art is not given to excessive use of exclamation marks in his FB posts.  I'd bet my expensive brand new panties, bought at Neiman-Marcus, that someone else wrote that "things are patched up" post on his FB page.

I'm no tecchie, but I don't know how on earth someone else (unless they have access to Art's computer) could have written the post using his "profile picture."

I truly believe that if someone doesn't come to Art with a ready made solution he will be done. He doesn't seem like he has the drive or the business nous to do it himself anymore. That and he isn't a young man anymore. Retirement would seem like a good option now.

I agree, Jaz.

The man doesn't want to work anymore.  He will NEVER admit it, though. And I get zero pleasure in thinking that.

"Trust in relationships'?  'Trust the people I work with'?  What bull-crap.  He has known and worked with Keith for how many years?  And to just throw him under the bus?  Really?

In other words Art Bell quit Dark Matter because he got tired of it after a few weeks.  And made up a bunch of excuses for it.  He never intended to return, and gave himself 2 years to find a reason not to.  (I guess I should add:  all this is IMO)

What, he was going to do podcasts?  YouTube videos?  Did any of that ever make sense to anyone?

So what someone from DM hosts a few weekend shows.  What's that have to do with anything.

Speaking of trust in relationships and trusting people one works with, it seems to me Keith has been taken advantage of by someone who never intended to return

Anyone else tired of this little Drama Queen?

Yes, Paper*Boy, you and I think alike on this.  I think Art just heaved a big sigh of relief. Now he has his excuse, which no one can possibly blame HIM for, to say he tried and it just didn't work out for him to come back on the air.

We had a few ham operators in the neighborhood when I was growing up in the 50s and 60s.  They were invariably the "get my off lawn" guys; the loners, and they didn't give a damn that they ruined the neighborhood TV and radio reception.

That reminds me of my childhood years also, VG.  I remember whenever we had really bad, unavoidable interference on radio or tv, we knew it was some ham operator in the neighborhood.  I never knew any of them, but would have liked to strangle them if I had.  ::)

And quite frankly I thought I was the only one who didn't like Jimmy Church, his voice, his style, or his demeanor.
Perhaps now I will be joined happily by those revolted by the photo of him and a very pale George as the midnight rider, coming to steel the toupees of the young.
Not by a long shot, HorrorReporter. It has been suggested that we need a Jimmy Church Sucks thread. You might want to read backwards because Church started out doing well, then morphed into an Ego of the Year contestant.

OUR night??  Between the guest, the commercials, a ridiculous JC segment -- you get maybe 2 ghost stories every half hour.  What a smug, worthless bastard Noory is.  It's pretty clear to me that Noory really doesn't want to take listener calls...

Ya gotta wonder how George could possibly get any worse and I mean, how tough is it to have four hours of listener calls telling ghost stories?   But, leave it to George to fuck up a foolproof format.

Quote from: SnapT on November 01, 2014, 01:19:10 AM
Noory still keeps interjecting comments, even though these are clearly pre-scripted stories.  Some of these callers are delivering text like Linda Moulten Howe.

You both just saved me a lot of typing.  I'm listening for the same reason I can't help looking at a car wreck.

To be fair, though, Jorch is doing one of the few things he does well ... pretending to be the nicest fellow in the room.  All syrup and chuckles.  This is why he makes the guys at Premier think he must be doing a good job.

Reminds me of the old saying, "xxxxx bears acquaintance," meaning you have to get to really know the person before you decide what they're really like.

Kudos to all here who predicted Noory can't do spooky, sound effects or no. GNS.  :P
