Was the quote at the Top of the Page "What Kind of Coffee?" inspired by Curtis' talked over question on The GabCast? I too am interested to know the answer but fear it's nothing exotic and probably just plain old instant coffee.

that's ok. i was just about to point out the fact that deanna troi has bad breasts when i read this post, so it's not like we're trying to feed the hungry or save some whales here.

^^^ This. It's almost impossible for anyone to anticipate when someone has finished their point before pitching in. I think it was mentioned with Falkie about saying 'over' after speaking. The way around it might be round robin and speak in order, however with call ins it might be more problematic when each host is wanting to ask questions of the caller. Not easy.

I think many would be surprised by what little hassle the ab has being the dude, with no funky paranoia-ness or deciet. Flew next to a pilot last night who shared the flight details on his iPad, whilst I ate fortified cookies, swigged heinikies, and bullshat through the flight. Dab equip in carry on, check. Reinforcements below check. Hassles, zero. I could tell you lots of interesting stories, the usual point being that kindness, humor, straight-eye looking, and confidence are my bestest safety devices, spiritual insulators, and guardian angels. Other than standard common sense procedures, not having anything to hide means you don't have to.

I don't doubt she can act, and she has a rocking body, but her face is just "meh" to me.

Best TNG episode was The Inner Light.
Quote from: cweb on January 07, 2014, 08:48:57 PM
For me it's always been 1. Troi 2. Seven of Nine 3. T'Pol
Getting back to TNG, I always liked Peak Performance, the ep where Riker has to go head-to-head with Picard in a wargame. Cheesy at times, but cool to see Riker's boys engage in some trickery. Also Chain of Command. Ronnie Cox was a badass and the whole Picard getting tortured thing was Patrick Stewart at his finest.

Nice, short GabLag MV. (= the temporal span between the conclusion of the GabCast and its posting for replay.)

I know most guys would say that, but she never really did anything for me. Janeway has (ahem had) a classic beauty about her that I find appealing, plus I like strong decisive women. I always liked the challenge of finding women like that who had a stick up their ass and would act as if they were repulsed by my behavior, but ultimately turn them my way.

Janeway = Hottest ST character ever.
