Maybe I'm just high and I'm not excusing violence but how surprising is it that somebody shoots someone in a movie theatre, considering the content of the viewing matter?  Are there guns fired in the movie that these outstanding individuals were about to enjoy?  Just wondering. I don't go movies as I get my shooting and other adventuring done by my own direction. I'm just saying, isn't this a little like somebody getting fucked in a porno theatre?

Why do I get the feeling I'm the only person on earth listening to this show right now?  I really need to get a life.

Anyway for those missing out, you just missed hipster George asking the guest regarding South Beach:  "Does Ricky Martin still have his club down there?"  Just thought I'd put that one down on record for posterity.
OMFG!
Please have yourself put down George.
Fuksake already!

Just streamed "Cinco De Mayo" on Netflix. Awesome but violent docu-pic about when the French still wanted to take over the world, the civil war fighting US included. Napolean, Benito Juarez, Porfirio Diaz- great portrayal of the heavies involved. Grueling war scenes as gruesome as any ever filmed. Followed that by my first viewing of Jacob's Ladder. If I wasn't vegetarian already I would be after these two meat rack flicks.

While I enjoy some of your posts, you're a little trigger-happy for someone who's been here less than two weeks.
Or has he?

Ok, have been reading through the licensing bs required to use music on a podcast-
http://wiki.creativecommons.org/Podcasting_Legal_Guide

I've pretty much decided on paying BMI fees so we can do a dorky little music show.

http://www.bmi.com/licensing/forms/Internet0105A.pdf

What I'm hoping is that some paralegal or attorney or anybody here qualified to weave through it for me can tell me how much I owe and how to pay. That way I don't have to think. PM me please.

It's not callous disregard.  It's perspective -- that there is also much beauty in the world along side the ugly parts.  If you don't remind yourself of that, this world will break your heart.
I have decided to break the world's heart before it does mine.

Must have missed something. Don't remember you posting bad about yoga. Was just sharing how it's brought me joy from benefits is all.  Apart from that...how are you and mrs?
She's at her hot effing yoga class. :-X  I am resting up from a night of flaunting my superpowers. Also getting ready for Train Journey Visits Of My Peeps Ver 3.0 in the next week or so.

I became pro-burkha, anti-yoga pants when I had a university job in which I was overexposed to the devils' outfit to the point of wanting to stab my eyes with an icepick daily. Forcing the "Latino Male" who honors his monogamous lifestyle into this gear grinding situation was not doing anybody any good. (The poor Mrs had a hungry jaguar come home every afternoon).  I quit. I guess I've had a sore spot, so to speak, about public display of yoga paraphernalia and yoga assets ever since.  :-\

My old friend SamIam and I rode our awesome bikes 65 miles down the American River Parkway yesterday. We do this from time to time because we're badass, studly, MFers. Seeing as we're also very "spiritual" hippies, we like to "take refuge" at churches along the way as refuge smoke breaks help ground us from being so high from riding. It's a rough life, might as well enjoy it.

Wow! Thirty years! Huge props, my man. I'm only 3 years as a strict vegan....absolutely the BEST thing I ever did was going 100% plant-based.

The only person that I know who has done it longer than you, is my mother, and she has been a full-fledged vegetarian for nearly 50 years now. Long into her 80' s, she still volunteers, and works part time as a veterinarian assistant, looks about 50something, and takes no medications at all.
Yeh, I still out work, out play, and out the other thing compared to the twenty-some-years-younger carnivores I am embeded with. I'm up 3 hrs. before the rest of the wolf pack and down at the same time. I ride my bike up to 70 miles per day while still getting my very physical ranch chores done. I can only assume that it's hard to keep up your strength running all that heavy shit through the system. I am not a PETA-type dude (raised a hunter) or really any kind of "health theory" eater. I just love growing and harvesting my own food, eat everything I desire, and it sucks to clean out animal carcasses. Also, hate the smell of fish even moreso than bacon.

AldousBurbank, did you go to cousin jacks in nevada city? They have some vegetarian american friendly food.
Haven't been to Cousin Jack's yet. Went to Lefty's, a nice place with a stream running under it. Butternut/spinach tortellini yeh. South Pine Cafe is always a winner for breakfast or lunch. Most of the eatery joints in this area have "vegetarian" selections (hipster plague) but I've never had a problem eating any and everywhere. Except maybe South Texas where every meal seems to require some organ or other body part in order to be considered food.

I'm actually in Byron Bay which is the Eastern most point of Australia and also the hippie capital of our country. Aldous would feel right at home. Not far is a town called Nimbin which is the grass capital. High times.
Bastard. I however, just took a 40 mile ride through what High Times named as an herbalist's tourist mecca. Nevada City, CA. Not the Emerald Triangle, the Golden One. Missed calling the Steelbot 'cause was haulin' ass having fun and things of this nature. Try not to stress out down there Jaz.

Haven't been on here much. Fortunately crunched with many commissions. Then a needed break. Flying to exotic Cleveland (to see family) then NYC for art I'll have at Westminster Dog Show.

Hubby and I celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary! My God...that seems unreal. We still dig each other like crazy, make each other laugh. Very blessed.
Nice Chine!  Excellent to see you here.
