Hello  and high fives to all!

Thanks for the kind words and I definitely appreciate being remembered.  My keyboard is a teenager now t wants to do its own thing, so I have to keep this brief.  I have been very active in politics and cult recovery online with the candidacy of Mitt Romney.  It has been a source of ongoing delight to watch the downfall of Mormonism as my prophesied tipping point of 2012 came and went.  The confluence of the Book of Mormon musical, South Park's episode on Joseph Smith and the exposure of the American electorate to the personality of what we call a "royal Mormon" (money + heritage+celebrity) produced the expected result.  In 2010, Pugh polls reported most Americans thought Mormons were "weird."  In 2013, after the church and the Romney family of filthy rich supporters spent god-only-knows how much money to get their savior installed (by the grace and power....) and an internet Google  "I am a Mormon" campaign in which skaters, skiers, singers, and other admirable people admitted to being Mormon...the Pugh result?  Americans still thought Mormons were "weird."

Had the time of my life and helped a lot of people recover their families and their lives.

Lately I have been moving away from that since the dominoes are falling all around the world and Mormonism is imploding.  I am moving more towards Buddhism, living in the now and working on being a more compassionate person.

Paranormally speaking, I am very interested in the new mermaid discoveries and the deeper idea that our skepticism and confidence that we know all about this planet and need to explore new frontiers in space...may be keeping us from solving the many remaining mysteries here on earth:  bigfoot, mermaids, and one can only guess the wonders that the melting ice may reveal.

Peace and love to all of you!

PS.  Aquagoat emails me occasionally.  He has gone through great changes in his life --you know when your interest in returning to "normal" exceeds your interest in the "paranormal" you have to drop out for a while.  :)

"If you've ever sat in a darkened cockpit, in front of a twinkling control panel, and prepared for a night flight, you know the feel of what all-night radio can be like--the excitement of knowing that you'll be flying high and covering great distances while others are asleep. On "Coast to Coast AM" Art Bell is at the controls, guiding his millions of national listeners through the night's news, and bringing them in for a safe landing by dawn. That's Art Bell, and that's the Art Bell show. His fans know the feeling very well."

Yes, we do.

Marc - He could just use what you just wrote with his voice over Crystal Gayle's song AND DONE!  Just change the pronouns.  Gave me chills.... and the new artbell.com website is a cockpit control panel, of course.....

Can't hear the ham radio garbled conversation with Art Bell re Noory?  I'll sum it up for you:

Noory shouldn't have moved to L. A.  where all the Premier politics is.  I would have never let them move me.

That plus supporting info about cost of living in L.A. vs St. Louis and that's about it.

I am listening to Knapp on a past Coast to Coast with John Schuessler (sp).....and reading the posts.  You are all giving me HOPE that maybe, just maybe.....Art will return.  Could it be true?  I am reading everyone's thoughts and hoping that all of you are correct.  I really liked the premise presented by several Coasters that offered up the idea of Art doing Saturday night and having Knapp, Punnett, Wells and Simone filling in for the weeknight schedule.  OMG, could it get any better?  Oh, yes....only if Art would do EVERY night!   ;)

You know he won't want full time, so even if he already has a deal, he has to sell the idea to co-hosts and they might have non-compete agreements with Premier or ?  So he may just start out small and grow.

Art wouldn't have to say a thing about C2C.  Unscreened callers will say everything that we have all been saying until he stops them (which he will).  Ah, yes, then Nooryville will just be a nightmare we struggled to wake up from.

There is one final source I look to for verifying all things Noory and that is Airyn Bell's facebook page.  One of the fans has written on her wall thanking her for letting Art resume his career (we'll let that slide by....) and I am watching the page to see if she replies and what she says.  Anticipating your question--the reason I am sure about this source is there is a constant flow of new Bell family pictures.

Thanks for the kind words, nowhereintime!

I have also been lured back by a catnip email declaring the Return of Art Bell.  In my world, this ranks above the Second Coming, so here I am to see what's what.

Although the political shenanigans are very interesting, especially when spiced with the rhetoric of sorcerer-robed formerly disgraced mystic, Fort Rock, the reason I think this announcement is credible is because

1) MV says so and he has huge reputation-at-stake if he made a mistake, plus he has the inside track of personal info.

2) The timing is right in his personal life.  They moved back to Nevada where he has dependable connections and weather, the baby is now in school full time and has made the adjustment so that Airyn is available to fill in Ramona's role and help him.  A couple usually needs a solid common interest once the kids are in school and a big block of time is available during the day for show prep.

3) Any speculation that George Noory would capture his audience has vanished.  The Noory audience is a completely different demographic and a huge block of intelligent, semi-intelligent and literate listeners has abandoned Coast for alternative alternative radio programs.  An "anything but Noory" crowd of artphiles without a clear heir...

4) Art's non-compete agreement has expired and enough time has passed for his fans to have adequately demonstrated our loyalty--giving him a great bargaining chip with his offers to other hosts.

5) Whitley Streiber, a good friend of Art's, can handle cohosts and the marketing, which Airyn can't do and Art hates.  Streiber has been waiting in the wings to do something with Art forever.

Now - some hand-rubbing pure fun speculation on how Noory would handle this:  After a big dose of turmeric mixed into antacid and kaopectate, I think he will not make a comment.  Why should he?  He's made the show "his own" (pile of crap) and Art will be doing something Noory and Premiere were unwilling to do.  I'm referring to the original dispute with Premiere over the screening of callers.

Handling whatever came in was Art's forte because he has that fabulous gift of charisma plus the ability to generate extemporaneous commentary based on a background as an engineer, a true UFOlogist and that prodigious memory.  I'll never forget the times Art was interviewing someone who made an obscure reference to a crashsite from years ago (that Mexican one) and Art immediately confronted the caller with facts which Art had in his head, not on some 3x5 card handed to him by a station flunkie.

We've often laughed about the fact that it took 22 Premier people to support Noory in doing what Art and Ramona did themselves.

So that's my two cents.  Nice to see so many of the old crowd here-- and I'm sure you will all be on board for a gab site about his show and forget about the repetitive trellis for annoying ads that Coast to Coast became.

I know this isn't going to be popular, but I believe if you stop and think about it, and abandon your prejudices, you can't help but agree.

Art Bell could not host a live show in 2012 with live callers.

Before you skewer me, roast me on your spits, and dump me in the fires of hell, hear me out.  There's two reasons I don't think he personally could do it for very long.  If you listen to his shows over the years, you become aware of two things he cannot cope with.

The first is people who still have their radio on once he unmutes their channel and begins talking to them.  His reaction grew from mild annoyance in 1995 to outright animosity towards the callers by 2004. I'm sure a lot of this had to do with a decade of people not turning off their radios. It also had a lot to do with the only people calling in being less than intelligent, stoned, drunk, or first time callers.  Art is smart enough to know it's going to happen most of the time, but by the end of the show, his voice is rising to a fever pitch and he is counting down to the dreaded hang up like a fevered, new age wiccan priestess. You an't expect any different from the audience in general now, so it would be a huge point of contention for him now, as it was then.

Secondly is Art's phobia of bad phone connections and cell phones.  How many times over the last few weeks of listening to the live stream have I heard Art inform someone that they are calling on a cell phone (as if they don't already know it) and that they need to get a land line.   Even GUESTS over the years are subjected to the phone humiliation, and if you notice, it happens more and more often as the shows go on.

How in the hell could Art do an open lines show in 2012? He couldn't, unless he has somehow resurrected Father Malachi and been excorcised of these two very important things. Well, let me rephrase that. He COULD do a show, but how long would it take for new listeners to tune out because they got tired of him hanging up on 99% of the callers because they were on cell phones and the other 1% not having their raidos off?

He wouldn't be enjoying it, and I suspect most of the avid fans on this site wouldn't enjoy it either, once the novelty of hearing him on the radio wore off. It's like going to see a band you loved 20 years ago. Sure they play the same songs, and it's ok, but in the end you walk away with the feeling that they should have just left it alone.

Now please, before you flame me and damn me to hell. Art and C2C impacted my life in a great way during the mid to late 90's .  I think he is a radio god.  This post is just my opinion and I don't think I know anything more than anyone else.   Just some thoughts.

I totally agree with these observations.  Also, just imagine the amount of prep time and research it took for Art to keep up with the many paranormal areas the show covered.  Noory has a huge team doing that for him (which is why he is not so hot in the retort department, or even in the keep-the-conversation-going arena.  There is a big difference in you yourself knowing where the cutting edge is on UFOs or Bigfoot and having a research assistant giving you cards with suggested questions.  Art could always add to the conversation by asking relevant questions and George never could.

That's all over now for Art.  Retirement means he doesn't have to keep up with all the topics, nor tolerate the repetitive questions and the  technical irritations of cellphones, radios left on, etc.  I don't care what kind of a job people have, it gets old saying the same things over and over.  Art was into the technology being an engineer and all-- which leads me to my lingering remaining question:

Did Art come back to the USA because the cable was cut by the earthquake in the Philippines?  Or did some other reason emerge?

Thanks all and a special hi five to Onan --- now where is Hal9000, the preemie guy?

Hi All,

Here I was googling around this morning and suddenly bumped into one of my own old Coastgab posts on Wikipedia--about Art Bell!  Then a few clicks later I read that he has posted here---which is the equivalent of a Catholic reading that the Virgin Mary is appearing in the air above their old hometown, Medjugorje, and the whole world is talking about it. AND SCULLY DID NOT EVEN EMAIL ME?????

You just don't know who your friends really are.  I'm scrolling along and find Morphiaflow is back (kisses) then...wha...wha... FORT ROCK is also back????? Never saw a better proof of the existence of zombies-- looks like the living person but with a horrible corpse like twist and a detachment from reality.  You could almost feel the spittle and a rotten tooth or two coming off the screen on that scorpion rant.

AND THEN, as if I am not already laughing enough, my old friend Agent Orange outs me as a possible day/night Fort Rock!!!  I have always wanted to be that person who can completely hide their identity by donning a pair of glasses, Clark Kent style, but sorry, it's not me. People here are smart and witty.  Posting a borsch recipe here is the cyber equivalent of throwing a handful of shit at a panel discussing the latest update on the D.B. Cooper investigation.  It is apropos of...nothing.

With Art having posted on this thread, I imagine "Art Bell Quits Coast" will live on that adrenalin alone while posters blame each other for having "driven him away."  I'm sure Art will lurk at CoastGab just to read the comments on paranormal subjects which still interest him. Considering the many forms of public expression there are today, Art having invited people to interact with him via Ham radio is significant.  He, like many of us who are retired, are sick of the politics of working.  Ham radio allows him to interact with the world when he wants how he wants and it is stable--doesn't keep changing like Facebook.  It is also an old-timers hobby and automatically filters for people who would be of more interest for Art.  A man in the desert alone with a very young wife and a little girl-- YIKES he's bored.

He has to talk or post somewhere about paranormal subjects, especially since it's 2012-- look for him on other threads.

Thanks for the support, folks.  My personal philosophy is that you create a positive energy from within, whatever the world challenges.  There has never been an "ideal" time, the present is always the most important time in history because it is the time when one can act.    One can write letters, protest, or just proclaim your truth here, on the internet.  This may require bravery.

I am pleased to hear that Michael received many PM's about Carruther's objectionable post that it was so great to screw a "girl" who's ass fit in the palm of his hand (really--a three-year old?).  Michael defended him and removed the comment due to PMs which agreed with me.  Nevertheless, he stuck to his guns that that comment was just humor.  Next a poster from someone who would seek a place in America which would allow him to marry a sixteen year old. Michael agreed with that joke, too.  Next, Michael posted a list of violent crimes which he believes are perfectly ok topics for humor if handled "correctly."   Here is his post:

"second, my point in posting the bill hicks video was to illustrate the fact that things are sometimes funny, despite how "off limits" or socially unacceptable they are to you personally.  i can't (and won't) control what makes me laugh.  when i'm hearing/reading/watching comedy, i don't do so through the prism of anything being off limits.  i think people who DO limit their humor exposure in that fashion aren't fun or funny people, despite how they might like to see themselves.

also on the list of subjects that can be funny if delivered smartly:
rape
suicide
abortion
retardation
pink socking
spousal abuse
homosexuality
white supremacy

One poster PMd me asking what pink socking was.  That's a hate crime, folks, where a bunch of bullies put dirt in socks and wait in the shower for their gay victim.  When the boy comes in they beat him bloody, hence turning the sock "pink" --water+blood, get it?

Michael invited me to leave this forum; he thinks it might not be right for me. As he stated above, I am not fun or funny because I don't like this kind of humor.  It makes violence a sick joke.   I have been thinking it over and considering that he may have a point.  This forum has been a big part of my life and has helped me through some rough spots, and I have made some "real" friends here.  This is why I have hesitated, also because I wanted to calm down.  Honestly, I suspect Michael is going through a rough time with Nabila gone and his back hurting.  And he just moved, so you know he's still living among boxes.  That can't be fun.

This is the last straw for me, folks.  I realize everybody is entitled to his own opinion and I have supported, respected and tried to understand Michael Vandeven's positions.  But the combination of him defending Carruthers while believing sexual predators should be killed and him listing (and arranging prettily!) these "appropriate" topics for humor.  No, and I don't want to support the site of someone that believes this.  Nothing personal, I just have to stand by my own convictions.

Michael doesn't want people to say goodbye, he thinks they should just quit if they don't like CoastGab. I think freedom of speech includes the right to say why you are leaving.  I considered CoastGab my community--I've been a daily poster and I want to say goodbye, share my thoughts, and thanks for all the laughs.

Hey Anagrammy,

I'm sure you noticed arts misspelling on the FB post.  How does that fit in with your theory that it may be his wife posting?
Just curious.

Art is posting as himself now.  In the beginning, the posts had random midsentence capitalizations, which I attributed to Airyn's unfamiliarity with mobile tech.  Since moving back to the USA, Art has become much more interested in Facebook, even posting once on Airyn's site, saying "Art here...." and typing a message.  This would be the two of them sitting in a restaurant booth checking her page and she shows him what the friend wrote.

There is absolutely no reason for Art to be talking with fans unless he wants to keep his fans together to communicate accurately with them.  For what?  To enhance his retirement?  No.  As we all know, Art has no problem with complete silence for months.  Only thing interrupting the crickets were the appearances of fraudulent Facebook pages with people claiming to be him.  I am sure Airyn helped him set up his own site and and complain to Facebook that his identity was being usurped.

Art has leverage in negotiations when he can bring a FB page which acquired 5,000 fans in just a few months (not an accurate figure BTW, just an example).  He needs this to prove that he is not a has-been and still has a following which would kick-start ratings for a new effort.  He wouldn't need to prove that were he headed for something with Coast.

So I'm weighing in on the KNYE podcast side.  I think that's the most probable scenario.

PS.  The type of spelling error in this last post is one common with autofill.  I think it's just an artifact of using an iPad.

Ana, you speak a lot of truth there, however you've got to STOP DWELLING ON THE BAD STUFF.

Yes, the world is a shitty place in many ways. Assuming you don't want to make it more shitty by checking out early, I suggest you go out in the sunshine and remind yourself of the good side of life. Go hiking or something. Watch some comedy. Call up a friend who always makes you laugh.
and so on.

Don't sit for hours at a time on the internet reading hysterical news headlines and scanning for 'predators' in your neighbourhood. the bad stuff is always there if you look for it - fine, now apply that procedure to the good stuff.
all you're doing with a post like that is spreading the fear around in a somewhat nooryesque manner (surely the ultimate insult around here).

sorry to administer a slapping, but I work very hard at maintaining a positive attitude despite all evidence to the contrary, and I know a wallower when I see one. Try harder.

Did I miss making my point that it's my CHILDREN who are fearful, not me.  I am not fearful at all--like most older people, I've lived a good life and am reaping the benefits of having good health and being able to enjoy life.  Michael indicated that an earlier time was more scary, and I having been alive during that time, didn't agree.  Doesn't mean there's anything wrong with me.

Now is always the best moment to be alive and I am trying hard to work with my children to help them realize that there's nothing you can do about the weather, the water, the politics, the this or the that.  We actually had pretty corrupt politics in the 50's too--I just didn't know about it when I was a child.  Now even the kids know the country's in trouble.

Despite the threat of nuclear war with Russia, my point was that my life was less fearful than my children's (except for the one who is also into Buddhism).

But thanks for your concern

and if i had to choose any era to grow up in, i think it would be this one without question.  sure, there's anger out there, but i think it's less than what was, and i think we're plagued by fewer obstacles than in the past.  i think life is better now than it ever has been, frankly.  the "good old days" weren't so good, as evidenced by the lengthy conversations my grandmother and i used to have about it.  life used to suck hard in numerous ways.  war (cold and otherwise), lack of medical advancement, racial inequality, no air conditioning, an electric mixer being the height of technology in the home... no thanks.  i'm happy right here where i am, and i suspect your grandkids would agree.  life was really scary just twenty five short years ago.  i'm 31, and i can recall being scared shitless in the late 1980s when i learned of the weapons the USSR had pointed at us.  what can kids list as fears on THAT level today?  nothing i can think of.

This is an appallingly adolescent for a man your age.

The naivete in believing that technological improvements in household appliances somehow trumps the reality that my children have lost faith in America?  They ARE afraid.  Afraid they can't afford to complete their education because wealth has transferred away from education.  Afraid their architectural degree will be useless, because no one is building anymore.  They are not free because some sectors of the economy are dead and others are necrotic.  They are afraid social security will not be there for them when their time comes. They are afraid of seafood from the gulf and nuclear radiation from Japan. They the weather changes, earthquakes and fear their children will have autism.  They are afraid to vaccinate them and afraid not to vaccinate them.

I grew up in the fifties when we trusted what the government told us.  Granted, we were ignorant that they were giving syphilis to Guatamalans and hiding information about bad polio vaccine, so we trusted them.  You say we had what you call "real" fears.  You mean fear of nuclear holocaust.  That was true, of course, but I was never afraid I was not on the John Wayne side. I was never afraid to eat any food from the grocery store- it was ALL "natural." Everyone drank water from the tap.  I was not afraid to walk to school, not afraid to play in the neighborhood by myself.  I was never afraid of what my country might have done or might be doing to people.  I never doubted that America was chosen by God to lead the world to freedom.  I believed that World War II was the war to end all wars.  I was sure the world would be a better, more abundant place when I started my family.  I knew I had a wonderful future.

My children have lost their faith in America. Talk about living with fear?  My grandchildren cannot play in their own front yard without an adult guarding them. My children don't trust the police to protect them and they are always looking up where the predators live.  They no longer trust their own government and no longer respect American democracy.  They have learned that voting doesn't matter and that the elected officials are corrupt regardless of what party they come from.  It was better to grow up knowing for sure you could go to school if you worked hard and knowing for sure the American economy would have a place for you no matter what you studied.  My grandchildren are studying Mandarin (no joke) so they will "for sure" have a job when they grow up.

I liked the political conventions and when I was a teenager, we all rallied around the winner.  We considered members of the other political party real Americans just like we were (my family was Republican).  We stayed up all night on election night and so did everyone we knew.  It was the big topic of discussion at school for months because this is how America avoided bloodshed.  You don't know how the country changed after Kennedy's assassination.  We thought coups couldn't happen here because we have elections.  A piece of the heart of America broke then and never healed.  A cynicism took its place.

I remember visiting a used car lot when I was in middle school.  There were bomb shelters lined up at the end of the row of cars.  You buried them in your back yard.  I asked my mother why we didn't get one and she answered, "I would rather be dead than live in one of those."  I was only afraid of the Russians.

My children are afraid of the future.

I don't think I require an assessment from you or anyone else with regard to my need to "wise up" or otherwise modify what makes me laugh. An informed audience should ask, whose voice does the corporation use? Is the voice a consensus of all it's employees or just those of the upper management? When a corporation is responsible for the death of someone, who goes to jail?  The FBI estimates that, 19,000 Americans are murdered every year. But 56,000 Americans die on the job from black lung and asbestosis and americans who die from pollution, tainted foods, hazardous products, and hospital malpractice. Many times these events are from boards who show disregard for the victims because of a recklessness that should be considered criminal. The FBI statistics show street crime costs the country roughly 4 billion a year where as the Enrons cost us hundreds of billions.

Yeah it is complicated but if anyone thinks corporations should be treated the same as an individual they haven't considered the impossibility of assigning responsibility. I don't give a rat fuck what Thomas Jefferson wrote... I would wager he would shit his pants if he knew that kind of argument had been used in his name.

This person "Corporation" clearly has no conscience.  He/She appears to be so deficient in lack of any interest in the common good, that one would suggest the Corporation see a psychiatrist and get some stiff meds.  There is sociopathy here, possibly even a psychosis in which the sufferer, said Corporation, cares nothing for his country, his people, his fellow corporations or anything.  Except that which would benefit Corporation.

Corporation is a narcissistic serial killer who believes in NEVER saying your sorry and that the payment of a cash settlement absolves him of any wrongdoing.  Corporation belongs in prison for life.

I also favor the death penalty in this case.  Corporation should lose it's personhood--it has been a huge disappointment to its parents.

Which comes from his own words, and Airyn's own words, on their Facebook pages.  That means it's public.  I'm not reporting what I'm seeing in my field glasses from a nearby hill.

If you're not interested, that's fine, but there's nothing creepy about reading somebody's public statements and reposting it for others who may be interested.  STOP READING NOW becaue I'm going to post another tidbit:

Asia is LOVING Nevada because she likes the running-around spaces and loves horses!  I'm hoping they will get her a pony and lots of other pets and she can have the freedom that children enjoy when they live on their own land in the wide open spaces.  Imagine what it must be like to be a child today in the city.  The parents can't leave them alone.  Literally, my grandchildren can't go out in their own front yard without an adult (guard).  I treasure the wandering-around my neighborhood I did as a child.  We all played in the streets--I look around and children are no longer visible in suburbia.  Like they were all sucked away by some invisible force.  Then you go to the "bad" side of town and there are all the kids out playing.  You realize it is technology.  The good side of town has computers and the kids are using it instead of playing.

Strange childhood indeed.  I wonder what missing out on normal neighborhood child playing will have on their development.

Yesterday I went to the sheriff's department to renew my conceal-carry permit. Things were different this time, though. I was astonished by the unending the stream of sex offender creatures meandering in to register themselves. They all looked as creepy as you'd expect, and they invariably smelled like urine stained, green shag carpet. Just put a bullet in these fucks and be done with it.

Sent from my Droid X.

Thank god for the rule of law.

I perversely enjoyed Open Lines last night where Ian kept getting hit with Noory-splatter.

One guy argued that the Illuminati is the source of all evil back through recorded history till today.  Ian held his feet to the fire on that.

A woman with liver cancer resented Noory trying to scare people out of chemotherapy.  Ian said alternative medicine can be used in addition to standard treatment.

An elderly scared-out-of-his-wits guy who desperately needed to know what to do about the Communists who are going to flood his neighborhood. Ian worked and worked to say, without saying it, that the info the man was hearing was crappola.

Ian handled it all well, even though I wish he would have been less diplomatic and just said out loud:  GEORGE NOORY SUCKS!  ::)

Well said, Scully, well said.  I'll bet the other hosts are tired of fielding complaint calls about the GNS.

has this thread always been this creepy?

What's creepy about Art expanding his family and wanting his children to be US Citizens?

There is new tension in the Noory voice.  It is higher, tinnier--there is fear.  The dream of the Hawaiian semi-retirement in a glass-encased Noory Shrine-Studio is gone along with the nubile girls waiting to fan him with palm fronds.  The dream of milking Art's creation for the rest of his life has >poof< vanished.  Someone has told him he'll be fine if he just sticks with the system.  The system of questions the guest gave him, his own computer-generated fav five and turning the guest's last comment into a question.

As they used to say on Battlestar Gallactica (2004), "Something has changed.  The Cylon is here."

There is a strange energy coming out of Pahrump.  It's radiation signature has hit the Premiere studio in Los Angeles.  It has the power to destroy the Noory and everything he doesn't stand for.

Art is back.

JC?

Can't believe they even made a JC tape.

We are bored...  we're in the green room, we're in the hospital waiting room, we are shooting the breeze waiting to see what will happen.

The only difference between Democrats and Republicans now is that Democrats occasionally apologize for passing and signing legislation letting corporations rape us.

I hope you watch Rachel Maddow because she featured Mitt Romney with his leg on a hay bale (how contrived was that?) saying "Corporations are people, my friend."  The entire audience of Iowans laughed at him.

She comments on how bad he is "in the wild," talking to real people.  She then shows senior citizens in massage chairs, genuinely stunned that he is going from recliner to recliner talking to them.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Republican presidential debate - it restored my faith that no matter how stupid and bumbling one party is, the other party is equally so.

Q - why would a person post a David Icke / Jew Hater piece on the George Noory Sucks board?

A - because it gets the most traffic.

This is the hallmark of a troll, always crashing in where he can make the most splash with his ass-first cannonball move.

Normal new posters try to understand the forum before they post and have the courtesy to 1) read some posts, and, 2) post in the right place.

Trolls don't have time for the respectful niceties -- they really do have a toddler beauty pageant to get to.....

I happen to have attended a day long David Icke seminar in person and will post my thoughts in the appropriate section.

Hmmm. I wrote that update to the wiki page--I created and have been maintaining the "Events of 2010-11" section--but I most certainly did not write "Reno". Someone must have edited me....d'oh! I am fixing it, let's see if someone changes it again....

Very interesting.  Somebody up to mischief, but to what end?  Here's a tidbit:  A photo of somebody's baby was posted and a friend of Airyn's wrote back that the baby was cute and what did Asia think of it.  Airyn replied, "She thinks there's a baby in my tummy and she wants a sister."

I do believe that was a psychic precognition of one of our Coastgab regulars-- the last straw, a possible bun in the oven.....

They don't care.

WOW.  Just wow--that was powerful.  I had tears in my eyes at the end and I knew in my heart I had just read the truth. I have noticed lately that I've slipped into grieving mode for America.  Now that we realize our government is just a collection of warring tribe leaders fighting for power and nobody gives a SHIT if our country goes down the tubes... it's hard to have the legitimate government we promote all over the world when we don't have it at home.  Didn't we hire the goddamned politicians to protect and preserve AMERICA? They remind me of warring mafia dons.

Maybe I've lost that hopey-changey feeling.

Could you please post the link to the page?

Thanks -Anagrammy

OK, now could someone post a picture of George Noory as a child maybe posing with his telescope?  His dental pic?  Sitting in his rosary-strewn bedroom with pictures of the pope and saints on the wall?  How about holding a microphone in one hand, and "The Exorcist" in the other?

Airyn Bell is posting actively her progress with the remodeling of the interior of the house.  Her friends reply that its will be wonderful for you to have an updated house and your own space.  Airyn says Asia loves playing outside but there will be no landscaping "yet" because the interior is the focus.  She spends time researching desert planting on the internet, looking at neighbor's yards, etc.  Back and forth about loving the Philippines, missing them, and then to my great surprise, a friend posts and the response is from ART!

He says he loves and misses the Philippines and so will they.

I know not everyone is into the details, but I am, so I'm sharing....

When Louis Pasteur developed pasteurization many people, mainly children, were spared from the miserable diseases that can come from drinking raw milk where fastidious hygeine has not been followed.

When I was a child my aunt who lived in a rural area had a cow from which her family drank raw milk.  When my family went to visit them, though, we always stopped at a local grocery and bought our own pasteurized milk to drink while visiting. (My dad loved milk.)

It strikes me as amazing that all these years later the cycle has come back to the "right" to drink raw milk.  George Noory strikes again -- first and foremost in tutoring knuckle-dragging Americans who believe his every word.

WHen I was  a tree-hugger in the 70's, raising a lot of little kids, I thought I would jump on the raw milk bandwagon.  My eighteen month old boy developed diarrhea that lasted for days.  It almost killed him.  The right to raw milk means you are trusting your children's LIVES to the hygiene practices of people you have never met.  You are trusting the government and when I reported this harrowing situation to the health department, they told me to leave a message on the machine.  Never heard a word back.

She was part of the Art Bell greatness, but the sharpness is gone.  I don't blame her at all.  Whereas Art engaged in conversation with LMH, Numb Nut uses the time she is on to sharpen pencils.  Art took mediocre guests and made them great.  With that harmonious synergy gone, guests such as LMH have to fend for themselves.  With Noory, C2C is now the "a capella" of talk radio.

Well said, MK, and it applies to callers as well.  They call, they flatter, they speak, then the Noory Random Comment generator kicks in ...
