Totally agree. Don't get me wrong. Hearing some of the disco bumpers when he, finally, rolled out the new show in high-quality stereo was nice but...it was still better to listen in on WTWW and get some of the static. There is magic in the static and it also is "nostalgia" and the idea of "pulling in" the signal versus some bland, perfect signal. How many times on radio (in the old days) maybe even now sometimes, do you recall adjusting dials or antenna to listen to the end of a game, Art with a guest, etc. And driving those moments where you lost and frantically adjust? Strong Mexican (or other) stronger stations started bleeding in and frustrating you? Makes for drama and great radio!

It's just occurred that I legitimately wish I could hear Art's breathless commentary on this damn damned dam damage, because if there were ever a guy on radio who knows exactly what is going to happen with that structure, it is Art Bell.
Also, I am sure he is enjoying new and interesting ways to say... wait, wait, let me start over. New and damned interesting ways to talked about this damn thing. See? I suck at this. Pick up the stick, Fucker.

There has been no corroboration. Just supposition by the press. Wishful thinking by the press. You're thinking like Hoagland.
Where were you when Kennedy volunteered to work for the KGB? Where was the press?

it would be nice if you simply made a point rather than expect others to attempt extracting something useful from you.

hey, that's cute. you put quotes around a sentence and implied that it summarizes the thoughts of those who have the nerve to disagree with you. well played. however, you should ask yourself who popularized the "fake news" meme over the course of the last 18 months, what their motives were, and get back to me.

Nice try but the NYT can hardly be trusted to be unbiased. Did they not prove that during the election?

Corroborated? Usually one would include references to back this up. I'll take it as just more conjecture on your part.

What Russian ties?

I don't know why they do that. Even on my Windows computer it just wants to play a short part of the file and not download it. I removed the Windows Media Player and pretty much just use VLC exclusively. So I can't get it for you without a bunch of rigamarole.
Here's something that might help you: http://ccm.net/download/download-13439-windows-media-player-for-mac If it will play the file, then you'll have to use some sort of audio recorder to save it in real time I imagine...
Hope this helps
If all else fails, talk to the C2C people.

Did HW say that Art left the first hospital because they didn't have CNN News? That's bizarre.
Dave wins a point for hosting this "update." Probably got a few C2C Insider subscriptions out of it but I might have to deduct the point for mentioning that Art was a heavy smoker with COPD. Classy as ever.
I hope Art's feeling better despite all of this background BS.

nathan; just curious, did you cancel your subscription after Art quit?
If you did, I'm assuming that's the reason you cancelled.
For me, I wouldn't pay for a subscription to the show in its present form.
I don't have an axe to grind with anyone, and I don't have any ill will towards Heather.
This is just my honest opinion.

Hi Nathan. Listen to a few shows, then ask yourself if you'd pay a monthly subscription for it. Then you'll have your answer.

I love that art on the podcast.
I will check it out this week-see if I can bring akwilly with me to discuss burning poop.
Thanks for bumping the post nathan.
