I've had hoagland on my radar for years.  listened initially with fascination - kind of an intellectual sport trying to figure out if he actually believed the crap he was saying (ie whether he's delusional), or whether he was a mendacious fraudster - kinda the same deal for me for most of C2C guests, sharpening up my epistemological toolbox, also sociology slash human psychology slash why do people believe the weirdest shit, and just for flat out entertainment.  Plus, hoagland's voice is a great one to fall asleep to.  Now i think its just schadenfreude as far as hoagland goes, dames too, morton, and all the usual suspects.   time well spent...or maybe not.

Hey...I want to know something. When a guest comes on hoaxland's show, they get to yammer on for 3 hours, for an audience exposure of several hundreds (i guess), and then once the show is done, the hoaxer archives it and charges members for monthly access, rakes in the cash, giving the guests absolutely nothing further.  Is this the basic deal? 

re: screenwriting for sniper - they had this EXACT SAME discussion last time he was on, yet they both have brain damage and cannot remember it?   hoagland and his minor life...

buffering issues also made me miss out on highly anticipated buffonering issues at the start of show.  stable for 10 mins after clicking 'on air' on http://www.theothersideofmidnight.com/

its like he did 2 things his entire life - museum and cronkite - which both happened before he was 25 - and he has to keep harping on these passed 'glories' all the time.  used to be entertained by his weirdness, now i just think he is a tedious old fart.

hoagland is annoying the sh*t out of me, and once you start to notice this stuff it grates and grates.   his butting in, interrupting guests with "wait! wait! wait! wait wait wait wait wait !!", and pulling them up and derailing them on a tiny point.  The way he harangues callers to turn off their devices 1 second after they connect to him - like as if they shouldnt have the show on when they are holding.  it was a foible of art bell.  its an affectation of hoagland.   his lack of education really shows.  horrible man.  dont give him your money.
