I contacted Stephen Bassett and he told me that he and Art's new producer couldn't figure out how to connect the SKYPE until 7 minutes after the show started and Art doesn't play that game with guests not being ready when the show is supposed to go on the air. OPEN LINES !

One post bandit.  Wow.  An excuse, AND a dig on the new producer.  Makes you wonder who you really are and why you would even post here.

Fun show, Art.   The loss of the guests is theirs alone.

So why aren't guests like these multi-bazillionaires who used their ability to astral project to enrich themselves financially and raid girls' locker rooms?

You are meta gaming.  Tsk, tsk.

My problem being an old listener is that I lose interest in listening. It's almost all BS - and I'm the type of person that finds reality much more interesting than fiction. I started listening to art when I was 18 and it was a life changing experience back then. The fact is that not much has changed in the topics and not many that I can tolerate anymore.

Opposite reaction, been listening since '89 at the age of 15.

We are blessed to have him back, and happy.  Nothing lasts forever, and taking this 'ride' is amazing.

As for BS:  the older I get, the more credible these topics become compared to the spin msm tries to spoon feed me.

Dude had too much coffee, or something.

He's also got a chip on his shoulder somehow, and Art is handling it beautifully.

Art could really challenge him obviously, but he's holding back to keep the show in bounds.  Calls should be interesting.

My biggest problem is that he refers to 'stats' to back up his major points, but doesn't have any to support his assertions as to 'major' races, whilst also stating there are a variety of ufos....he is all over the place.

Like some of you, I start tuning him out when he starts dumping info at light speed about consciousness, as if he's in a timed debate.

As for the abductee guest, (Adam?): Art was wise to let him go when he claimed to have a memory from the crib....credibility for me to a major hit and had he kept going, I would have taken a break.

Curious: are there abductees under the age of 30 available for interviews?  Nearly all the names dropped tonight are older than 40.

 8) Catch Art's  reference to this goofy, soon to be epic, ad, during open lines on Friday?   ;D

Was that awesome, or what?  Anonymous, time travelers, callers using sound effects to mention the 'other show' and a repeated 'screaming lady' reference by Art to the flashback caller who asked him if he remembered her situation from the 80s.

Addition of new gen and international callers + resurrected Art >= better than 90s

It's pure magic.  I thought I could hear him shaking off a little bit of rust in the first few shows.  Tonight he shone like a diamond.  His voice was impeccable, his pacing was flawless, and his curiosity was completely authentic. Damn, I'm happy.

Agreed.

Clyde is great.  I don't agree with some of his views, but appreciate his passion for them.  He's one of the best out there.

I look forward to a MITD with him as a guest if it happens.

Fadis sounds sincere, except the part where he doesnt mention he is running for Congress.  A deliberate choice, and I'm fine with it as a listener.  Good guest, and entertained.

Sounds like Art needed to scratch the ISIS itch out of his mind.

Guest tonight is a junk scientist nassim haramein

I really prefer credible scientist. I'll still listen. Art will find something and make it a good show, because he is that good.

Thanks for the links.  I remember stumbling across this guy, and even though I only have a BS in Physics, I was a bit let down with his refusal to have scientists review his work. I don't think Art will ask him why he doesn't at least try (Einstein did)...but you never know!

Like another poster said: mixing it up between pseudos and phds, makes Art Bell radio, Art Bell radio.

Expanding minds require fresh thought for food.

A while since I posted on here, but I just signed up as a time traveller and I am catching up on the shows now. Graham Hancock was great, just starting the Charles Faddis, then I will attempt to plough through LMH's robot voice for 3 hours. Wish me luck, tell me she wasn't that bad please?

Best she has been in a long time, IMHO. Art was able to engage and explore in between the newsbit thing she does.  Third hour was solid.  Like others have pointed out, the chemistry is better and she doesn't have a disengaged host ala other shows.

LMH is so used to reading script and her Earthfiles outlines without interruption pre-art-return, that I imagine it is difficult for any host to slow her down.  She has mastered the relentless infodump.  My wife, too, was exhausted in trying to keep up.

I believe she is clearly brilliant, and passionate about her work, which I respect and love.

Art tried to slow her pace, throughout, with more detailed questions and lead-ins, but boy oh boy would it be tough to slow her down as patiently as he tried.

I've always thought LMH to be at her best, when she expands on one bombshell at a time, instead of laying down a series of bombshells and ideas without interruption.  It's tough to hang on!  The last hour was the best.

Art's (paraphrased) question of the evening relating to cat mutilations: "and one day, perhaps (pause) half-humans?"

A close second was his vet story proposing cats to be aliens.

It is so awesome having Art back.  With so many clouds behind him now, he is all sunshine.

completely off topic anyone here NOT multi-tasking?

actually i guess i want to know who is just listening to RCH and no doing anything else

I was drinking Chandon with my wife and playing ESO via PS4.  That count?

Personally imho, it was his best show to date.  His guests were easy to listen to.  Where he is learning fast.....be a host, first.  He had better balance tonight.  I sensed him holding off the filabuster button several times because his guests were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and focused.  In fact, of all the years I sifted through c2c, rch was in top form.  He will humble; confident in is ability to manage his own show, without regard to what came before him.  We know the numbers, bro.  No need to express how surprising the listening pop is.

Great show.
