Ha...it was fun...

To put it into perspective...Kanye was a 10M view on YT...most shows are 1-2M...Jones was 9.5M. Ha

It was fun for the first 2 hours.  The end was kind of insufferable once Jones got drunk enough that he was just screaming over everyone.  They redeemed it when they got Jones to tone it down, but it was really bad there for a decent amount of time.

Looking for the best Ghost to Ghost shows for a re-listen over the next couple of weeks.  In your opinions, which G2G shows were the best?

I've been watching CohhCarnage's play through of the recently released PS4 'God of War' game. The combat in the game looks really fucking fun and satisfying.
There is a dynamic between the father and son characters that reminds me of the game 'The Last of Us' and Joel and Ellie.

The last playstation I had was PS3 and I got that for GTA 5 with some consideration that it could also act as a blu-ray player. But after I finished GTA 5 I sold it a few months later.
But for those of you who have a PS4 and you haven't been living under the rock, no doubt, you probably already know about the game  :P

As for me, I'll just have to vicariously watch someone else play it  ;D

I never buy new release games, but after 1 day of Redboxing it, I bought it.  It's pretty fun.  I'm only about 25% through the story, but it has been one of the best games I've played so far and definitely my favorite of the series (played 1 and 2, but not 3).

Some people might know the name TotalBiscuit a.k.a. CynicalBrit. He is a video games critic/reviewer and, in my opinion, one of the best.
He also hosts a video gaming podcast live on Twitch, that also gets uploaded to YouTube, along with co-hosts Jesse Cox and Dodger called 'The Co-Optional Podcast'.
On that podcast their guests are usually a gaming content creator (Twitch/Youtube) or sometimes a gaming or tech journalist. They end up talking about the video games they are currently playing and any other gaming related news.

Well TotalBiscuit was diagnosed with colon cancer 2 or 3 years ago and slowly, as cancer usually does, it started to spread.
It is to a point now where, unfortunately, all conventional therapies have now been exhausted and he is not long for this world.

Recently faced with this news from his doctors, and the inevitability that his time was drawing near, he sent his reddit moderation team a message to post on his behalf.
Considering the circumstances, I found the post, although sad and brutally honest, to be rather inspiring to read.

Here is the link to that reddit post,
from r/cynicalbritofficial

https://www.reddit.com/r/cynicalbritofficial/comments/8g4eoj/official_totalbiscuits_future/

I saw that and it made me super sad.  I decided to order a hoodie to support him based on his how to support stuff in that post.

Art Bell.  Simultaneously history's greatest radio host and the world's worst teacher.

It seems to be real. If not, he’s a pretty good bullshitter.

Did MV and KR ever make up after the Spec Sheet on the network debacle?

Wouldn't the bobo gimmick get boring? I know trolls get a kick out of trolling, but at a certain point I'd think even bobo would get tired of his act.

Does anyone else suspect that redacted's "I'm just keeping the seat warm for Art" statements come from a position of wanting to preserve subscribers as opposed to legitimately communicating that she is just filling in on "Art's show"?

I've had a horrible time using them on Chrome.  I "Save link as" and the modal for the download location never appears.  Today I was able to workaround it by navigating to another page as soon as I hit the "Save link as" option.  The modal triggered and I was able to save just fine.  I've had the problems with streams cutting out a few minutes in while listening on the page several times though.

I bet it'll be this guy:

That's right in line with the type of credentialed expertise we've come to expect from Coast.

Coast trying to counter Art's announcement by announcing a new science advisor... I'm sure that'll work.

The days of being legitimately scared when you're camping alone in the woods and listening to C2CAM are long gone.

Do you think that vibe will return on MITD?  That's what I loved about C2C back in the day.

From a station standpoint, I just don't see how it makes sense.  They'd make more money by running paid programming.

That assumes that the station is able to sell that paid programming inventory.  Lots of smaller regionals wouldn't be able to.

Was that the big Wednesday announcement?  I don't think I would ever be using a dating service if a person that looked like George Noory was on the sign-up page...  Perhaps a redesign is in order?

Good point, Novat0.  I'm working from ignorance.

Enthusiastic ignorance.

What's everybody's favorite Pinball machine?  What's considered the cream of the crop?

. . . to borrow from.

I was a little late to the pinball concept.  Arcades were already dying when I grew up and the majority of my pinball playing has been on the computer.

I think Maul was a villain who was simply killed off too quickly. Same thing with Grand Moff Tarkin.
Their screen time is almost equal. They basically did nothing and then died.

Have you read any of the Darth Maul stuff from the novels?  I'm wondering if it's worth the read.  I was going through old republic stuff but jumped to Darth Plaguies.

Cool cabinet design.  I hate the trigger launchers, but aside from that it looks cool.

I missed it.  What is the normal delay before the audio is posted to ufoship.com?

Welcome to the jungle.

Yeah, look, whatever you do, stay the hell away from the Falkie thread! Entering that thread is tantamount to "going up river" with Capt.
Willard.

;)

One does not lurk for 2 years without learning to avoid that thread. :)

After 2 years of lurking, I had to register.  I wanted to get in before MID starts lest I be accused of being a Davebot or noob.

What are some of the good, less-explored threads?
