I want Art's show to be solo Art, of the era that created the "real" Coast.  That was magic that we can only hope to be recreated. 

Doesn't mean I don't like Redacted; on the contrary, I like listening to her too and think a Redacted show would be kinda cool in itself...

This exactly, and no disrespect to Redacted, she's quite capable and I like her, but let's be real, Art is the draw, Art is the headliner.  People don't show up to watch the local opening act; that's when they're out buying beer and t-shirts. 

A drunken podcast with a few friends on an internet forum is one thing - a national show with a professional broadcaster who can draw millions of listeners is quite another. I almost feel some Bellgabers have mistakenly allowed their casual association with Art to take on more meaning than it ever should - again, Art Bell is the only draw on BellGab, no one else, no, not even Dave from what's left of "Coast".

As long as MITD remains The Art Bell Show and not a glorified GabCast, then everything should be fine.  I just don't want to see Art's new show devolve into nothing more than the people on this forum talking to one another on air - we can get that anytime on GabCast.

Glad to see everything back and functional.  Of course order won't be fully restored until we receive that first all caps communique from the Scorpion Minister...

These people certainly love attaching these cornball titles to their names.  I suppose that comes with having no legitimate credentials in science, engineering, physics, etc.

This event looks like something tailor-made for George and RCH.

George could astound the audience with his Elvis covers, while Richard engages them in a 7 hour lecture entitled "19.5 and You".

Be great if Art would call and chime in on all the craziness!
