I miss you Art. I really do. All you ever did was bring the spirit of wonder and imagination to the airwaves like no other. And a unique sense of humor I truly enjoyed. Why anyone would want to hurt you or your family is in my mind pure fear and jealousy. I cant think of any other reason besides mental illness. Godspeed to you Mr. Bell and your family. Enjoy every second of every minute of every hour. Life is fragile. And we never know when it will be over. I wish I could hear your opinions on many things of today. All I get is the occasional look at your Face Book page and I know you are giving Trump a fair shake. So do I. I feel like your an old friend. In the 3rd Art is a solid .7.     Of course the .4 probably came over from Dave but what about the other .3?   Something tells me that is Art people who gave up C2C all together since Art left who are happy he is back. If leo was not such a poop and learned some English together they could have ruled the night. He might have even been able to fill in dare I say sometimes or do a weekend MITD. Now Im glad it never happened now that I know how he is. sad...just sad.

Uhhhh no Art. They have been asking for more commercial time. There has always been access. With all due respect I do not see how this will make any difference at all. This was your words. Have I missed something? What a disappointing announcement. Its like nothing has changed except your spending more money on your signal when that is not the problem. Makes zero sense to me. Who cares if it sounds great when no one is going to pick up the show until you allow more commercial time. Its the nature of the bizz. You should know that better than anyone. Unless you think they can just charge double for advertising. Time will tell but I think your that hamster in the wheel. I wish you the best and hope it works but I think your shooting yourself in the foot.

I think you hit the nail on the head. A fish as big as Premier offered him his dream. A  chance to crush C2C. A nicer version...a chance to compete directly with C2C and once again reach millions of listeners. I know Art wants to be huge again and he can but not with just a web streem Maybe in time but come on..he is 70. Clocks ticking and I don't imagine he wants to do this forever unless it is fun as a hobby...lets hope. This would also explain why he is encouraging people to become Time Travelers since there would obviously be more commercials and they are cut from the pod casts.

Art I think you should keep Redacted for some shows..or part of each show. And of course a lot of just you and your guest. I think this will more or less please most people. Sometimes change people were reluctant about turns out to be a great thing. I am so glad your back. Been a listener since 1995. Thankyou for all you give of yourself. I will be listening.

We need to transhumanize Art so he can always do his thing as long as he wishes.

He should have continued..and so would the pirates posting the live stream on the web and it would have grown big time. And he would have been on the web anyhow....he he...boy im evil ...lol...he probably didn't realize the pirates were his ally if he really wanted on the web.

You know what....Im finished!!! I don't think Art wants out. Probably why he wanted us to stop, it was working!!!I think he wanted to crush C2C and when he found out SXM was not the way to do it he wined his way out of a job while many fans supported him. And thought he had been had...well you know what. We got cought up in his personal thing against C2C and we were had...nuff said. That's my opinion and I am entitled to it. No more Art or SXM for me..and trust me...I wanted nothing more that Dark Matter supreme..I loved it. But I am the sort of guy who becomes obsessed. I will not wait with bells on for another 22 months for the contract to expire just to be let down again. With a sad heart...goodbye Art

   you said no. As it stands now I presume the streaming still does not work properly and will not, till at best August or
   so. You said this was a good idea for me but not Sirius. I disagree, if we develop millions of listener's, in what World
   is that bad for Sirius in any way? If you can charge BIG bucks per commercial minute.....Broadcasting 101, it's a good thing.

2. We talked about one day with streaming, I asked about other days, you said we could talk about that, we never did.

3. As it stands now people MUST pay about $180.00 a Year if they want to hear Art Bell, why not allow listeners the option of JUST
    streaming my show for a lesser fee? It could be pro rated, IF it just worked properly.

4. I said I would be willing to buy the Studio gear for whatever you paid if I could be released from my Non Compete, I have not yet
    heard a answer to that one, though you did once say you would not let me go, you sent me a reply saying you would consider it.

5. I can wait out the remaining time, then stream, which it looks like I will be doing at 70 Years of age.

I just for the life of me can not see why everything with Sirius/XM has to be lumped together in a Business model that works for non
  commercial music just fine, but lumps Talk Radio in with it. I understand why it works for Howard, he had little choice unless he
  wanted to keep paying fines. I don't know about Dr. Laura.

Two things I can tell you about me, every time I crack the mike I put 110% into it, it takes a lot of work and I am willing to give my time
and energy happily but not if I have no way to grow the audience. I have millions of people waiting for a way to hear me and they would pay
something to do so, but asking them to become subs for $180.00 bucks a Year with a service that does not work well will not get them there.

The other thing is Coast, I will not share time with them. I thought hard about that, and there is no way I would rejoin under any conditions
while you carry them. The reason I came back on is because that show is a insult to the entire field, not to mention at least 45% of it is
commercial or breaks of some sort while the rest is just plain bad Radio.

I truly enjoyed working with you and everybody else at Sirius/XM and wish there was a way to work this out. I understand you think the way
forward is exclusive content and perhaps you are right but in my opinion the World will pass you very shortly while trying to hold on to this
model. It really already is. Nobody tried to stop all the Pirates, every one of my shows was and is available for download the next day, great
for the guy who doesn't want to pay but not so great for the Talk Host who wants the live calls, how does this make sense???

Well then don't let Serius out of their contract..pick up the pieces and go back. Work up a new listener base get some practice and split to the web in fall 2015. Come on...you know damn well the assholes at Premier are behind this...you can go on and crush C2C now. I don't understand Art,  this should be personal war!! They had you!! And its wrong. Ever herd of the lemon law??? And if you fight and have a good chance counter sue for legal fees...you have nothing to loose then really. And there is no way it would take 2 years once the lawyers start talking...try!! Or a lot of people are just going to think you wanted out...and in two years you'll probably be back in the Phillipines...whats the use..

I used to think along your lines..but there is one huge hole in your theory....There is no way they could have known Art would quit for sure. And people were really having connection problems. Just go to SXMs facebook page and see all the complaints from people who could care less about Art. And as of a few days ago..many who do.
